What agent was used to coat the wood?

Thank you for your comment, we used Osmo oil, on the cladding, two coats, should keep it looking good for the next couple of years them will need a re coat

What’s the lifespan on the oak do you think ? I’m being asked to pick between wooden cladding or z stone .

I would say that the oak should last at least 50 years maybe longer as long as it gets looked after and a coat of oil every few years, however I guess the stone as its rock will basically last for ever !! Guess it comes down to the look that you want, we were looking to soften the back of the house against the render.

That’s not a bungalow like most people who buy a bungalow they really wanted a house so another bungalow bites the dust no wonder older people or families with special needs can’t get single story properties.it’s a real shame now bungalows are going for extortionate prices pricing them out of working families affordability.

Thank you for you comment, it is a great colour, this is the oak and the Osmo which has no colour to it, however brings out the colour of the timber
