Investigative Judgement is not a bible doctrine. It's from an extrabiblical source. Moreover, it presupposes that Jesus did not do a complete work on the cross.

Hello friend thanks for your comment Christ certainly did a complete work on the cross and the completeness is in the fact that the power of the devil in using sin to drag all humanity into condemnation (Heb 2:14) has been abrogated (Rom 5:12-19) and now we have the freedom through the blood to appropriate to ourselves the merits of the blood which is righteousness or justification by grace through faith. Remember though the blood has been shed man needs to plead the blood to be forgiven therefore if one sins and does not repent of it and ask for pardon that sin can't be forgiven. Moreover the bible says in Rev 3:21 he that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne---------- this means there is an overcoming to be done without which we can't inherit the throne.
In the parable in Mathew 22:1-14 it talks about a King who had a wedding for the son, sent invitations to prominent people he knew but they refused to come and rather meted out despicable treatment to His servants and even killed some. Eventually the King asked his servants to go into the byways, highways , market places to bring anyone willing to attend. The people came and entered the wedding Hall. When King came later He saw one who He called "friend" sitting in the wedding Hall who had not the wedding garment and was taken out to be condemned verse 14 says many are called but few are chosen.
This story, following after the plan of salvation laid out in the Sanctuary, tells us that one doesn't need his or her own righteousness to come to Christ so we are all called with our sins, what is important is to heed to the call and once we come to Jesus we are forgiven our sins and accorded His righteous garments and even more the Holy Spirit the only reason why the people who came could enter the wedding hall which stands for the kingdom of God (kingdom of grace) awaiting the coming of the King (second coming of Christ).
Inspite of all being admitted into the wedding hall the "friend" lost his holiness whiles waiting for the King (remember the King did not enter the wedding hall immediately the guest came). How did the friend lose his holiness because there was a waiting period (investigative period) during which the friend did not continue in good works but rather resorted to evil practices leading to the exiting of the Holy Spirit the reason why his garment was different from the others (the Holy Spirit ensured the sparkling of the white garment his absence made it dull).
The friend initially had the white garment (the only reason why he could be admitted into the wedding Hall (which is the kingdom of grace) just like all the others who also had the wedding garment. But since the "friend" didn't continue in good works overtime (Titus 3:8) and rather chose the wide gate Matt 7: 13 the brightness of his garment (which depended on the existence of the Holy Spirit in his life) faded and stood out so obvious to the King when He came so was easily identified as one not wearing the prescribed garment of righteousness which alone could ensure his continual stay in the kingdom. Remember he was saved into the kingdom of grace but when the King came he couldn't make it this explains the phase of investigative judgment.
Matt 22:14 says many are called but few are chosen as it relates to this parable where are many called to? they are called from the world of sin into the kingdom of grace yet not all will be saved because even in the kingdom of grace not everyone will maintain good works before the King comes some will choose the wide gate and go into destruction inspite of being called.
So how are people chosen, only after investigation to be sure we maintained our sanctified life this is what the investigation or Pre-Advent judgement means it is a process which is coterminous with death and the coming of Christ.
Remember Ananias and Sapphira Acts 5 they were both believers in the early church and even had the Holy Spirit but after their refusal to tell the truth at the counsel of the Holy Spirit about the sale of their land they chose not to and were killed by the Spirit at the interrogation by Peter.
I hope my long statement may assist in clarifying the issue. Thanks I appreciate you watching the podcast. God bless you we are learning together.

@@ernestkusi-ababio637 Hi. There is nothing to clarify, a finished work means a finished work. We are saved by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus. The Bible clearly states that after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God (Hebrews 10:12). The idea of investigative judgement is not in the Bible, period. The book of Revelation cautions us about adding to Scripture.

@@GloryToGodAmen Thank you for your belief I respect that. Christ sacrifice done once as compared to the old covenant which was done yearly. In no where did I say Christ had to die another time that one sacrifice is what we all appropriate daily in our lives for our forgiveness. However, this doesn't mean that we will not commit sin again anytime we sin we need the blood to wash and forgive ofcourse it is not expected that we will continue in sin Heb 10:26, after being forgiven, but like John said in 1John 2;1 should we sin Christ blood continues to propitiate when we reach out to Him for forgiveness.

May be you need to look at the Matt 22;14 and get the explanation in the context of the plan of salvation explained through the sanctuary.
