If you pull it even harder, you can pull the socket out of the wall...

@@user-vc1pw8yv3p there is no way those lazy ass splices would have the strength to pull the plug out of the wall

Seems dangerous without the strain relief. Why not replace with an old computer cord? They're plentiful

Yes, of course, but you can't always find the right cord at the right time.

"Few know this Way to fix Electrical Plug when it is Broken!!!"
    No.
No sensible people use this way to fix electrical plug when it is broken, but almost everyone is aware of this "way".
    Just..no...
    1000 times.. no.
This is not the way to do it.
Purchase EU power plug from local store, includes strain relief and screw terminals.
    Under two euros.
House fire caused by high resistance joint from twisting wires together and bodging them with cheap electrical tape..
    Priceless.
There is a good reason they sell replacement plugs.
This video illustrates that reason perfectly.

Thanks for the comment. The fire in the house happened because the plug less than two euros was inserted into the socket, it didn't heat up well and caught fire. This also happens

I think it possibly many know this way, few are silly enough to do it, replace the cord or plug, quicker and cheaper

You're right, but there's never an opportunity to buy it

Buy new unscrewable plug from shop for a couple of euros, wire it onto flex. The process takes 5 minutes and is safe. What you are doing is not just very unsafe, also stupid and takes far too long.

    • @user-vc1pw8yv3p
      @user-vc1pw8yv3p  Місяць тому

You're right, but it's not always possible to buy an electric plug right away. Every opinion is important. Thank you for the comment

This is high power cable... twisting wires is weak process... u should try soldering it❤

Why not just go out and buy a new plug and wire it on? You can buy them you know. They do make DIY plugs to wire up, not just UK ones, some even come with strain relief. So I can only say this is bad advice in this video and only here for content and clicks.

Really ugly splice and no strain relief. Try using a solder connection instead with multiple layers of shrink tube. Better yet, get a replacement plug made for this kind of repair. Your example will not last long and is a fire hazard.

You're right. But sometimes it happens to connect something very quickly and there's no screw plug at hand.

Do not ever do this. That 240v on a connection only usinga twisted connection. No Solder joints (even soldered and sleeved is bad) simpy get a new plug.
