Our geo teacher didn’t bother teaching “Map-Skills” ( I’m in the 4th Form ) His excuse was that we’ve been doing Map-Skills since the 1st Form (Which, in his defense, is true) However, I forgot everything we’ve been doing in GEO over the past 3 years (I let bygones be bygones). I thank the lord for finding you. Man, you have no idea how big of a help you are. It’s about 10PM and I have a GEO test tomorrow. I’ve been binging your videos for a while now; been lovin’ em. By the way, I just subbed, and I’ll make sure my friends do the same 😊
@@GEOHACKS By the grace of God it went well. I got a 28/30. Once again, Thank you so much. I've been finding your videos very useful. Please keep it up!
your videos are sooooo useful and helpful thank you so much keep this excellent work going! but i have question regarding the cross section drawing bit, whenever i try to use ur method and measure the map and the given axes, the distance on my question paper always tends to be larger compared to the map even tho its printed on A3 im not sure why? like its not equal
Or is it exactly where each of the contour lines start, if yes, then how come at the contour line of 260m the value was 11.4cm and was not where the cross section started. Does this mean that it is fine if I used the value of 11.2cm as this is where the cross section began for 260m. Thanks

I think it is how you printed the maps and exam paper. Always needs to have the setting 'actual size' selected. In the exam they will be the same.
@@GEOHACKS Alright, thank you so much for relieving my concern! Im really glad now
hi thanks for the video it’s really helpful!! One suggestion would be to fix your mic as the voice pitches from high to low repeatedly
Many thanks. I recorded it at different times, so will look to correct.
Good luck.
@@GEOHACKS the paper was pretty easy :D thanks to your videos
How did u find the floodplains here?
Generally speaking either side of the river (and if there is space) is a floodplain.
@@GEOHACKS you mean the light bluish grey shadings sir?
Yes.
@@GEOHACKS 👍🏻thank u so much🙏🏻
These videos are so helpful 😭😭😭 thank you so much
Thank you! Good luck!
For the cross section drawing, why did u use the values 10.7, 11.9 etc and not any other ones on the line. Please help…

Sorry it is a little tricky doing it online. You are correct. As long as you get the basic shape, you will be fine!
the audio 😢
Sorry.
Where do you get the maps from because It's not under any of the inserts.
Check the link in the comment sections.
@@GEOHACKS I tried opening the file but it's not working it says the file is not in the correct format I'm not sure what's wrong.
Not sure why. It works for me. Try finding the map elsewhere online.
I think the Files in the google drive are corrupted?
Thanks for letting me know. Will update links.
can you do feb march 2020 ? this week pls i have exam for this paper
question2B, why the answer is not main road -west to east?
sorry, what I meant was question 1B?
Can you please explain again why the answer east to west?Im a bit confused here.
North is top of the map so the road is going either east to west or west to east. Write East to West as E comes first.
@@GEOHACKS Thank you for your prompt response.
@@GEOHACKShi why does East come first.? From the Image I can see it from west and then it continues in east direction, pls clarify
thank you very much for helping me with my exam
No problem and thank you! I hope it went or goes well!
Thanks for the video brother stay safe ❤
