Replacing the motor and rubber gears

When the top base gear of my blender broke off I was so disappointed. I was ready to throw it away. I decided to lookup a replacement part and amazon had it for a little over $6.
When I got it, once again was I disappointed because I thought that I had purchased the wrong part. It wasn’t until today I decided to find a video on UA-cam that would show me how to fix it. And YES!!! There was your video.
Just like one two, three and my blender was fixed. I needed my husband’s help but we got it done in seconds.

Same here. I had to grip the turning gears underneath the fan to finally get it to move. I have no idea if I damaged it, so I threw it away and bought a new one for $60
