Ice White 3DS Unboxing (Imported From Japan)

Took me two weeks, but I got my Ice White 3DS imported directly from Japan.
The reason why I chose this 3ds over the others is because the ice white design stands out to me above the rest. It's color combination is elegant and unique.
The ice white 3ds cannot be bought in the United States so it would have to be imported.
Due to "region lock" Japanese 3DS's cannot play United States games and vice versa but I will modify this 3ds to overcome that block.

I agree the original 3ds is still my favorite design of all the different 3ds models, even to this day

for it to play usa games, you have to switch out the motherboard with a motherboard from a usa 3ds. I had a used usa 3ds motherboard which i put in the japanese 3ds. to me it was worth the trade as im playing usa games, but love the Japanese styling xD. the fingerprints on the white part is not as noticable as the black glossy one, xD the white just looks so nice btw and will be unique in the usa cause no one else will have one xD

I'm waiting for the 3DS+ for 2014. It is rumored to have XL quality casing on the smaller 3DS which will be called 3DS+

i bought the 3ds imported from japan and the AC outlet was the same from the USA versions so no you don't need an outlet converter

I apologize for double post but while I was away I remembered something. Does the ice white ds get or show finger print's easy kinda like the black glossy one? :O or u the fingerprints are less noticeable?

There are ads on eBay and Amazon of Ice White and Pure White (JP versions). Are they the same?

I recommend you get a crystal clear case for it, you can get it for about 3 bucks on ebay.
