Basement was taking on a little water and this bottle could have come into peril, so I'm drinking it right now! Thanks for the great notes

I just have a question. Why do you pour the entire bottle out into a decanter? Do you drink the entire bottle afterward? It doesn't look like you have a stopper for the decanters you use to I'm led to believe you drink it all. I'm a whiskey guy myself and i know nothing about wine but I love your videos

Great question! We only have a few minutes to film the wine tasting so Josh quickly decants the wine and swirls it in his glass so that the wine can show its full potential. But the rest of the wine doesn't go to waste! After Josh is done shooting the video, there are plenty of other wine lovers here at Wine Express that are eager to taste the newest products we're carrying and the open bottles gives them that opportunity. This allows us to share our opinions on the wine and have a much better understanding of the products we carry. Thanks for watching, Cheers!

I heard that after 2012 or is started at 2012 vintage (year) to date that all Caymus wine red grape except special select, Caymus has been using concentrated grapes and also the grapes are sourced from China and other country's to make there wine because of the high demand . These are words from someone that worked there fo over 10 years . Im afraid to mention hes / hers name because there might be legal retaliation toward him / her . Final Conclusion , I will never purchase there wine or other wine producers utilizing the cheaper way the wine to be made and charging you for just the name .The wine industry is changing and taking a path of no return . Once you become just Greedy than its harder to step down from the cash cow leather chair . At the end I wish I was just making this up I only wish .

Love your reviews! New to Napa Cabs really, had a 2014 Caymus and it blew my mind. Actually as I'm watching this I have a unopened bottle of 2014 but saw a 2013 at my local wine shop and I'm fighting not going to get it and lay it down for a few years.
Great reviews. Gonna watch all your California cab reviews. Wanting to get a silver oak to try and a few to lay down, what's your thoughts on that?

Thanks for the feedback, we're glad you enjoy watching our videos! Silver Oak and Caymus are very popular and hard to keep in stock! Under proper conditions, Silver Oak can be cellared for a decade or more. Feel free to sign up to our email list at www.wineexpress.com/templates/emailsubscribe.asp to be the first to know about great values and rare wines that come in, Cheers!

Arent you suppose to leave it one hour at least after you pour it on the decanter.

Hi Rodrigo, we often do recommend letting a wine aerate after opening the bottle, however due to the short amount of time we have in the video Josh simply decants the wine and tastes right away. Cheers!

Very nice review . JUST ONE PROBLeM ? The Wagner family adds xtra sugar and fake coloring into there wine. Trust me , I know someone that worked for them .Lately it taste like corn syrup . meaning grape juice .
