Before & after dynos showed a gain of 48hp & 27 tq with the changes above.

302 is an over rated engine the 4.6 is just as beefy haha I can’t tell you how many times I’ve drug a 5.0 down the highway and these cams make it a fucking monster
3v modulars sound the best of all modulars (voodoo aside). It's still had to beat a true pushrod 5.0 though
@@ashtonhollowaymusic You aint dragging no 5.0 Mod motor thats for sure. A 225hp 5.0 Windsor, yes. But you can race my 82 GT that is cammed and get drug by a 5.0 windsor.

I got an 06 windveil blue gt. Im about to do these cams.. its a little scary because this is the most expensive car I've torn into and it's my daily. Wish me luck

Not a big fan of the X pipe rasp, but that lope... It is SO on the list to do on my still bone stock stang!
X-pipe or H-pipe has nothing to do with the rasp. Thats due to the fact that its catless.
There is a huge difference between the two when it comes down to sound, with or without a cat, you can always tell who is running an X and who is running an H.
+saltinesalamander there is a slight sound diff. H pipes are said to sound better but imo the x pipe is better in every way, I like the sound more on a x pipe
I really want to get a set of cams for my 3v, that thing sounds great!
i did. brenspeed detroit rockers and dyno tuned there. maybe not quite as choppy as the hot rod cams at idle but choppy enough and amazing power and reliability.

Nick G positively sure it was that off road x pipe, I put a catted x pipe on my 99 GT and it made it way louder than before. the only way I knew it was cammed was that deep loped idle at start up.

What cams did U use what was the number on the hot rod cams

Mines in white. 2.5 inch cowl hood and roush front bumper. Otherwise stock. Id really like to get the FRPP hotrod cams for it.
I'm getting 14mpg city & 18-22 highway if I keep it under 75. I also now have 3.73 gearing.
Sounds great. Gas mileage is the same as my stock 5.0 with 3.73 gears.
My bad I just saw you listed them as frpp cams. What's the specs on them? They sound nasty!

ricmstry ricmstry pump and injectors are not needed. Only thing truly needed is a tune, but you'll get much better gains the more you open up the intake and exhaust. Bama does tunes via email for a very reasonable price, or you can get a dyno tune.
Do CHP hassle you with anything on your car like how loud it is or why the idle is so rough? I want to get the same thing done but don't wanna have to take it off because of a fix it ticket.
The idle is rough because of the cams. That's what they do. But you may wanna check with your local law office and see if they have sound laws regarding cars.
RoyalistLoyalist That's why I wanted him to comment because he lives in California running catless with cams. California is the worst place for upgrading your cars. I've heard of people getting popped a hefty fine because something doesn't have a CARB on it or because its tampering with the emmisions equipment.
Oh yeah lol they'd have a huge problem with cattless w/cams. I live in Alberta haha the laws around here are VERY slack

MCA Films 363hp/ 375 tq at the wheels
How much would all of that cost ballpark?
luke furr 800 for the cams and 500 for the tuning. that's if you put the cams in yourself. having them installed is another several hundred. high output fuel pump and bigger fuel injectors are needed also. also you need a good exhaust H,Y,or X midpipe to get a substance al am out of performance out of the cams.

and what you have on a Dyno now?
patrick G 362/375 at wheels. Dynocom. Regardless of numbers I gained 60/50 at wheels as I did before and after on same dyno.

Me I have only ;intake fordracing, tune,hotrod cam,longtube headers,x-pipe catless. 322/wheel .What you do on a 1/4mile?

Sounds more like Ghost Cam Tune.
Ghost cam tune is a 5.0 thing, 4.6 3v only has 1 cam per bank, not possible.
