They played this in NYC on my birthday when I saw them 2 years ago when I turned 36. It was so freaking great. I rocked out so hard needed to see a doctor the next day. So much for getting old.
I`m the lucky one i saw them play this at the leadmill in sheffield england just before they exploded and became huge. Probably my favourite QOTSA song.
I was JUST turned on to this song. It's AMAZING in a set of terrific songs. Not that Mark L is a bad songwriter - far from it - but I'd die a very happy girl if Josh wrote and produced an album for him.
One of my favorite qotsa songs. Killer freaking band, I gotta see them live next time they come my way. Why did they axe Lanegan? anyone know? The usual "creative differences"?
dude i know but it just my opinion.when i first listened to the studio version i was profoundly affected.this one just didnt make me feel the same way thats why
great tune... mark isnt with them anymore... my homme doesnt play any old olivier stuff or stuff with mark anymore live... well see what the future holds

I've seen them something like 5 times and was lucky enough to witness it once, October of 2003. Hands down my favorite song on Rated R.
Same. I just love the little solo in the chorus. Brilliant.
This song, It´s one of my favorites!
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this song!!!!!

Cannot wait to see them in November in Dublin.
thnx for upload !
The drumming in this one is amazazing
A lot of singers are born with an okay voice. Mark Lanegan earned his legendary voice.
best live of this song, classic QOTSA Line up..
lovely

They played this song in chch, new zealand in 08, but with josh singing...awesome! simply QOTSA are the best modern rock and roll band of the 2000's
fuckin fantastic, cant get much better than that.....:)
mark lanegans voice is so cool
this is my fav song by them! too bad they never play it live cuz it's sung by lanegan (at least on the album anyway)
I loved the studio version more with Josh singing parts of it

Two words - Tom Waits / Followed by three words - Check him out.
im glad they brought this back on their new tour--but its too bad they didnt bring back mark as well
he bleeds this song
@nunosoar its cos joey pushes the tempo cos hes so fired up when the play live, the guitarists have no choice but to follow the tempo
okey thanks. sorry, i'm not the biggest qotsa fan, but this song is sick
@thebucket87 Yes :)
I feel sorry for Joey's ride cymbal.
@visitatin were you high when you posted that?
someone's in the meth. hey josh, remember how cool it was playing with nick?
yeah, dude. its all about the bass.
dude i know but it just my opinion.when i first listened to the studio version i was profoundly affected.this one just didnt make me feel the same way thats why
I can't believe Josh tries to sing this song...
is the song recorded with nick or with mark? cause it sounds way different then the other qotsa songs
lol
wat about some ones in the wolf? lol
"Live til you die"
What does that look like?
is that the singer of Screaming Trees??
mark
@IndianaBones19 you should start a band and make good music.
Whos singing, Josh?
When Queens of the Stone Age worked perfectly. Josh is great, but without Mark and Nick it's not nearly as amazing.
Why do they always play their song's live with a much faster tempo?! I don't understand this... :S
A better question is why are you responding to a comment from 4 years ago?
yeah. the live version of this song is nothing compared to the studio version =/
but hey. its a kick ass song no matter what!
way too fast, anyone heard a slower live one with Lanegan?
great tune... mark isnt with them anymore... my homme doesnt play any old olivier stuff or stuff with mark anymore live... well see what the future holds
great song, but this video hardly does it justice. not bad but.
@wilksbamf josh does it better
Mark's voice sounds hoarse, it was much better in the studio version of the song
