My 9 year old son was an avid member of the iFam. Once I saw the allegations about Chris Ingram I stopped my son watching them until I had looked into it all. After watching many videos and reading posts cataloguing all the evidence I have had to sit him down as explain why he won’t be allowed to watch them again. It’s such an awful abuse of power and a lot of the young viewers don’t understand what he has done and will blindly keep following. More parents need to police all the things that their children are watching because these types of predators are out there online and are being supported and getting away with it because they have audiences too young to understand the manipulation. My son is autistic and the iFam daily vlogs were a big part of his bedtime routine so it’s been very hard to get him to understand I am not being mean but we can’t be supporting these kinds of people and that Chris Ingram isn’t the person that he is putting across on the screen. I can’t believe UA-cam is still allowing them to make videos whilst this situation is going on. It’s very sad that they have children involved but just because he has children isn’t a free pass to let this thing go. I had to have, and continue to have, similar and ongoing conversations with my teen nieces who came to me as a trusted adult in their life to help them understand and work through the allegations and surrounding information. It broke my heart to see the disappointment and heartache on their faces when they realised someone they watched daily and looked up to isn’t who they thought he was. I can’t imagine what it must be like to have to have those conversations as a parent and with a younger child. And on top of that for your precious boy to be autistic and the vlogs being a part of his nightly routine. As a teacher with social work qualifications I know how important routine is for children with autism so my heart is with you. Hang in there knowing that whilst it’s hard in the short term in the long term you’re teaching your son morals, values and all the right lessons. You’re doing a good job Mama.

I generally don't comment on videos but I felt I had to tell you that you are so brave and dealing with everything so maturely. As a mother my heart breaks for you and your family. You will get through this and be a stronger woman because of it. His video was incredibly manipulative but he isnt the victim and you should not be held accountable for a grown man's repulsive behaviour. It's absolutely disgusting how this is turning out, the fact that he's been careful not to do anything strictly illegal does not take away from his clearly predatory behaviour, just seeing the way he talks to clearly vulnerable girls makes me sick because it's absolute textbook manipulation. and that has no place on a family UA-cam which has lots of young girls looking up to him
My 9 year old son was an avid member of the iFam. Once I saw the allegations about Chris Ingram I stopped my son watching them until I had looked into it all. After watching many videos and reading posts cataloguing all the evidence I have had to sit him down as explain why he won’t be allowed to watch them again. It’s such an awful abuse of power and a lot of the young viewers don’t understand what he has done and will blindly keep following. More parents need to police all the things that their children are watching because these types of predators are out there online and are being supported and getting away with it because they have audiences too young to understand the manipulation. My son is autistic and the iFam daily vlogs were a big part of his bedtime routine so it’s been very hard to get him to understand I am not being mean but we can’t be supporting these kinds of people and that Chris Ingram isn’t the person that he is putting across on the screen. I can’t believe UA-cam is still allowing them to make videos whilst this situation is going on. It’s very sad that they have children involved but just because he has children isn’t a free pass to let this thing go. He is a disgusting man who abused his status to manipulate young girls and he should have to answer for that and not be allowed to carry on as normal on UA-cam!

well done on responsible parenting we need more like you, its a sad situation, but as a kid I think you only think of dirty oldmen as pervs but in fact its quite the opposite people like judges, policemen,upstanding pillars of the community are more than capable of getting into young childrens minds because of their trusted position
I had to have, and continue to have, similar and ongoing conversations with my teen nieces who came to me as a trusted adult in their life to help them understand and work through the allegations and surrounding information. It broke my heart to see the disappointment and heartache on their faces when they realised someone they watched daily and looked up to isn’t who they thought he was. I can’t imagine what it must be like to have to have those conversations as a parent and with a younger child. And on top of that for your precious boy to be autistic and the vlogs being a part of his nightly routine. As a teacher with social work qualifications I know how important routine is for children with autism so my heart is with you. Hang in there knowing that whilst it’s hard in the short term in the long term you’re teaching your son morals, values and all the right lessons. You’re doing a good job Mama.

I got about 5 minutes into his video and then switched off. This needs to be taken extremely seriously because he is living with two young children and that’s a concern.
