Thanks for all your help Thomas. I lost 100 lbs years ago and have maintained but every time I try to do low carb I would go 2 weeks and then binge on Taco Bell. Since learning about keto from you I have not cheated 1 time in 5 weeks. Only down 5 lbs but definitely feel better and not obsessing over food. Thanks

5 days bone broth 4.8 ketones were my highest. Lost 12.5 lbs. Had weight to lose. 5 lbs shy of 100 lbs. Lowered my blood pressure. That was rough, but I do feel great.
Why are people saying how bone broth fast has helped with weight loss but when you ask how many of the soup they had in a day they don't answer at all, very upsetting how will we get the benefits as well 🤔😭😭

Today is day three for me. I have not noticed an increase in hunger over regular fasting, I do feel a bit stronger in my workouts over regular fasting. Thank you, this has been really fun to follow!
Are you saying, it's ok to workout hard while fasted because recovery happens faster? I thought the muscles needed carbs and protein for building and recovery and this only happens during the re-feed time. Is the bone broth enough nutrition? Can heavy work outs be done on a water only fast with quick recovery times too? Should we take BCA's while fasting? Would they even work without food?
I got a grade three Ankle Spain that has had my ankle in nagging pain for a month. I did the three day fast just for the "normal" benefits and was shocked to find that my ankle actually made more healing progress in these last three days than it did in two weeks prior!
Maybe giving digestion a break allowed your body to concentrate on other parts. Also, the collagen or other nutrients may have had something to do with it. Thanks for sharing that info. I think fasting can be very healing & your story adds to that idea, contrary to popular (ignorant) belief of "oh, no, not eating, you're going to starve".
Thank you Thomas for this challange, it was exactly what I needed at the moment, I did 65 hours bone broth fast, but I break my fast because I was cold and shaking, I felt wonderful and no hunger att all and I lost 2 kilos. Keep up the good work! Greetings from Jordan-Aqaba!👍
This was incredibly helpful, Thomas! I started my 3 day fast with bone broth but decided to drop it the first night after it made me hungry. It is very relieving to know you had the same experience. Overall, you should do more of these self-experimentation style videos. Science is one thing but personal experience is where the rubber hits the road.
I stumbled across this video because I wanted to learn the effects of bone broth, but discovered you, one of the most informed fitness Professionals I've ever listened to! I haven't learned this many new fitness terms in a long time, Sub'd!
This video is a year old for me, but so much of this resonated with me. I am 67 years old and I’ve only been doing keto for two and a half months. I have lost 30 Ibs. I have done a couple of 24 hour water fasts and a couple of 48 hour water fasts. I embarked on a 72 hour water fast ( made it to 64) I felt good with the fast, and because of research I had done, I was no longer frightened at some of the low blood sugar readings I had because my ketones were rising. My blood sugars dropped as low as 3.7 (69), but my ketones were solid, over one after the second day. I track my GKI and was thrilled with my resulting numbers. The magic happened after the fast was over- I was still rocking ketones and lower blood sugars even after I had eaten. I broke my fast with bone broth, had eggs and cheese and avocado, and went out to dinner and had prime rib and veggies. I finished eating at 6:00 and when I went to bed at 10:30, my blood glucose was 4.5 (80) and my ketones were 2.5 When I woke up the next morning, my blood glucose was at 4.8 (85) and my ketones 1.1. After exercise , my blood glucose rose to 5.5 (100) and my ketones were at 1.0. My conclusion is that there is carry over after a longer fast and that I am becoming fat adapted.
I just ordered the fasting packs from K&F for my own EF. Thanks for the inspiration! I'll post my results, just as you asked, so that the community can benefit. Thanks again!
Oh wow, he is adorable! Great job to you and the folks who followed along. I'm happy with the 16-18 hour IF right now, but this is all super interesting. I learn way too much from you! Thank you!
Hi Thomas, I did the bone broth fast for just 24 hours. Fasting is pretty hard on my body. I find I get very fatigued even though I keep my electrolytes up. Thanks for taking me along for the ride on the 1st day. Thanks as always for your great videos!!
Very interesting experiment. It would be amazing if you could collect some data from other people that did the fast along with you and round up some info with a larger group of people and try and see how the results compare
Hey Thomas, I didn’t know you were doing this fasting. I did one too. The week previous starting my fast I spent it cheating with high carb meals(haven’t cheated in a while, always keto). My initial goal was 120 hours but I did 107. I broke the fast cause I felt it was enough and 13 more hours wouldn’t make too much difference, plus I wanted to have dinner with my wife. Interesting results too! I felt cold after hour #24, super cold I sould say. Felt horrible between hour 50-60. Infelt like I was going to pass out.Suddenly after hour #60 felt super good, tons of energy, no hunger at all. I measured glucose and ketones: Hour #0: Glucose:93 mg/dl Ketones:0.0 mmol/L Hour #24 Glucose:88 mg/dl Ketones:0.0 mmol/L Hour #30 Glucose:86 mg/dl Ketones:0.6 mmol/L Hour #48 Glucose:77 mg/dL Ketones:2.2 mmol/L Hour#72 Glucose:68 mg/dl Ketones:2.6 mmol/L Hour#96 Glucose:65 mg/dL Ketones:3.3 mmol/L Hour#108(1 hour after eating a rib eye and broccoli) Glucose: 86mg/dl Ketones: 2.8 mmol/L Any idea how to understand these results?
Thanks for sharing your n=1 experiment! I'm going to do a bone broth fast 27th-31st Dec. Planning to make 2019 a year of fat adaptation! Merry Christmas, Thomas, Amber and Tommy! (Just beautiful they way Tommy gazed at you with pure joy and love in the hiking clip!) Arohanui (big love) from New Zealand!
Finished 72hrs 20min Wednesday afternoon. My last bone broth was ~21hrs prior to fast break, my schedule was off that morning so I did not get a workout in, and since I did not workout I didn’t drink broth and I was away from home so I had coffee and water only. Towards noon when I made it back home, I was going to drink some broth but decided to just fast through the rest of my time period. I then did a condensed version of one of my normal workouts which was: Strength work on bench + HIIT bench, about 25min, it was an unremarkable workout but I expected that to be the case. Right after (I usually wait 45min but had more scheduling conflicts), I drank a whey+dextrose+honey post workout drink (~20g whey,~25g carb of which all sugars), along with 8oz broth, and I ate a nonfat greek yogurt (13g carb - 6g fiber/6g sugar/and has stevia, 15g protein). Results Starting weight: 194.2lbs Ending weight: 188.0 (-6.2lbs, probably ~5lbs water) Today (2nd day after): 190lbs Glucose at fast end: 62 Glucose post fasted workout: 77 Glucose 1hr post workout: 109 Keep in mind those glucose readings are in the afternoon, so no dawn effect. I wish I had taken initial and maybe measurements during, but didn’t even think about it. Other notes my sleep was about 1hr shorter on last 2 nights, less REM and deep sleep per Fitbit, but for the most part I didn’t notice this during the daytime. At night prior to bed I was noticeably more tired, but didn’t fall asleep any faster and possibly took longer. Last two nights after the fast, I did sleep better but still 1hr less than normal. Weight is only up 2lbs, thought maybe it would go higher but I am eating keto. Overall feel pretty good, one thing that is standing out is sensitivity to caffeine seems to be higher, never really noticed that with other fasts. One other item - I ate too much fat too soon after my post workout meal, had some issues that night but it resolved the next morning. I know breaking an EF can be like that, but I guess I was thinking the broth would have kept things primed and would not be as bad ( I also did not have said broth for 21hrs prior, maybe part of it as well). Now, to keto (TKD) on! Well as best as I can through the holidays, we have a few Christmas meals to enjoy. I think New Years we will make full keto, and January is a renewing/relaunch of my fat burning goals.
I just started drinking and MAKING bone broth 2 days ago. Whoah, I am blown away with the good feelings in my gut. A warm healing, and an almost mild euphoric feeling. VERY NICE!! I made the BB with turkey wings, a rotisserie chicken carcass and the usual veggies of carrot, celery and onion, pink salt, pepper and garlic salt. I hear chicken backs make a great BB too. I'm lovin this new addition to KWOE with I.F.
I might add ^^^ that drinking this homemade bone broth is the missing key for achieving ONE-MAD, for me anyway... I can sail through the day and then eat a hearty dinner which helps me sleep better on a full stomach. A 22-24 hour fast just doesn't feel like fasting this way. :-)) I'm so jazzed and amazed by this!!
I did the 3days with you, my husband too. It wasn’t hard at all, only a few times did we feel hunger pangs but they quickly went away. Broke the fast after 72 hrs with a little avacado, some chicken and a few green olives. Hubby felt good but I immediately after only a few bites got nauseous. Really nauseous. We figured introduction of foods might have shocked my body a little. Just guessing. Anyway the fast was really great, we both lost about 5 lbs. and really feel good. Now, we got back to our usual 18/6 IF routine. Im also healing from wrist surgery. I think fasting will help me heal! Thanks, Thomas for taking us through this. 🙋👍
My glucose reading prior to a workout on day 2 of the fast was 103 and then 112 after a HIIT workout. I was freaking out thinking I did something wrong!! I've NEVER seen it that high as I've been keto for 3 years now. So glad I found this video and you went through that, too!
It was easy for me. Never had any hunger pains. I am 72. Started at 263 and after the three days 252... I drank ONLY the 24 oz's a day for Beef Broth along with black coffee HOT and Hot black tea. Not a lot of plain water. I feel great. Worked out in the morning for three days heavy weights for me with my trainer. Third day I had to cut the workout down to just 30 minutes - a little lite headed. Just broke my fast with a cup of Turmeric and Cinnamon with touch of honey. Thomas - thanks for this challenge, will do it again after the holidays.
This is unrelated to the BBF but I’ve been doing 48 hour fasts for a while now. I eat one meal at the end of 48 hours. Feel great and I’ve lost a ton of weight. Thanks Thomas! And congrats on the fast!
Trying the bone broth fast once again, first time got to 22 hrs gave in and had big sugar cravings. Today started at 12 midnight it is now 1:30 pm nothing yet but coffee I'm about to do a 45 minute work out then 8 oz of bone broth. My big problem is I started working nigjts 8 pm till 6:30 am this really thru my scheduling off. I had previously done intermitant fasting before some whay on n off I was previously 218 lbs after 4 months I weigh in at 170lbs . I have a small amount of viseral fat around my mid area. Trying to get it all off but it is tough. I will keep you posted Thomas thanks for all you do for us oh yes p.s. I am 63 yrs old today.
Interesting results Thomas! Bone Broth fasting certainly works good. I come from the carnivore diet 20 weeks in so far. I done a 4 day fast, from Monday to Thursday, ( first day water fast, followed by 3 days bone broth fast), first and 2nd day I trained at the gym (full body workouts), the 3rd day only light cardio in the park and on 4th day no training. I really enjoyed this experience. By the 3rd day I was having no hunger issues but my body temperature dropped and I was getting a bit colder. I also noticed increased mental clarity and I was very calm and relaxed. On the 4th day I was getting used to having only bone broth. I broke my fast at 96 hours with 3 eggs prepared in grass fed butter and I could not eat anymore feeling full, there was no hunger feeling at all. It was a good experiment for myself, I enjoyed it :)
I took part. Went from 155.6 down to 148.8. After breaking the fast I balanced out at 150-151lbs. I don't have a way to check my levels but day 1 went well, day 2 I felt kinda crappy for the 1st half of the day, and day 3 was pretty good with only short bits of hunger. I feel like I should have run it out for a full 5 day fast to maybe get some higher levels of autophagy. Overall it was a good experiment.
Nearly every body likes ice cream and so do I. An ice cream maker costs next to nothing, I got a fully functional used one on craigslist. I make ice cream using erythrytol as a sweetener which is just as satisfying as the store bought stuff and has significantly less impact on blood sugar level.
I was only able to participate for 48 hours... that said, the experience was incredible. I did find that the bone broth ( homemade) did make me hungrier than just water. This is something that will certainly be adding to my regular routine... maybe once every 2-3 months just to hit the ‘re-set’ button.
Roland Strauss Interesting about the increased heart rate... I’m planning on doing the fast again starting in the next couple of days... just to hit the re-set again after the Christmas eating season.
My experience was Day 1 no hunger pains. Day two no hunger pains. Day three bad hunger pains for 10 seconds, then no more pain. Lost one pound. Was extremely hungry and ate tons of carbs which I have never done before. I am keto all the way. My cravings were unusual for me. Today Friday my first meal was kale and 1/2 cup of yogurt. I am not hungry. The bad part of this bone broth fast was the diarrhea and gastrointestinal discomforts. I usually regular. Also, I had extremely tired could not sleep properly. I had no energy to workout. I worked out Day 1-2 not 3. Today had another sleepless night. Napped during the day. I do a lot of IF everyday. I am on a 12-14 hour fast. That is why I think I had no hunger pains. I will weigh myself again tomorrow. I like the idea of fasting. I want to incorporate it once a month for two days. What I ate? I had homemade beef bone broth, turkey bone broth, Pellegrino Water which was fizzy, also I took my water with salt (plain water). I peed tons for the whole fast. Was it worth it? Definitely. I have a slow metabolism according to my DNA.
Really enjoyed this video! Very cool to see your results and extrapolate to my own results. Last April I fasted for 6 days and had a very similar experience. I've been keto off and on since 2015. More on than off!😆
Hey Thomas! Always enjoy your videos and other content. I've been doing keto with internment fasting since early Aug and couldn't be happier with my results having dropped nearly 45 lbs... Rather quickly! I have a question in regards to getting to deep into keto. I frequently find myself with ketone levels in excess of 8. Do you have any pointers or rational as to why this is happening with me and how to combat it effectively? Is this causing more harm then good? Thanks again for the input and continued knowledge. -Nic
Thanks to your video, I'm getting out the stone age with Ketone strips and getting a blood tester. I'm more of an extended faster so it wasn't a big deal. But the idea of seeing how food effects your blood sugar is intriguing. Everything starts and ends with blood sugar with this life style.
Well into day three on my end and feeling fine. I have also been cold but not very hungry. I only had the bone broth on day one. So glad I decided to join you, the weekend will be full of baking Christmas cookies, cakes and pies and it’s impossible for me not to test them 😂 now I won’t feel so guilty! Merry Christmas 🎄
Wow, Thomas you had an interesting journey! 😂 I went in great, felt the effects, I had great data. I did not have any desire to binge or do any crazy eating after. I am way more mindful. 💪🏼💪🏼 Thank you so much! 🎄
Dropped 3 pounds during the fast. Felt like I had more energy to do the low intensity weight lifting! I also did some HIIT, but only on the first day. I did notice hunger pangs at “bone broth/meal” times. But after black cold brew in the morning - I didn’t need any broth until after 2pm or so. Consumed a lot less broth than I anticipated as well. Great way to start the holidays!
Thanks. I fast once a month.. No bone broth. I'm trying to do a 3 day. I usually only do 48hours. My ketones read 1.7 usually around hour 38 - 40. I guess that's good. Thanks for all your info.
It's great you completed your bone broth fast with such amazing results. What is your opinion on All you can eat Korean bbq? Would it be ok to consume all of this protein at one meal while on Keto?
And 5 years later, I am in my 3rd day of bone broth fast! I will keep going until tomorrow am! Have already lost 3 pounds and my ketones registered over 1.5!
I actually went 4 days...Monday thru Thursday. I’ve done lots of fasts in the past but never a bone broth fast. I did fine but day 2 I was super hungry but then day 3 it subsided so that’s why I continued to day 4. I’m on day 5 and haven’t broken my fast yet but I will later today. All in all I sailed through and needed to do a reset anyway so this worked great...I’ve been stalled on Keto. I lost 6 lbs and will continue on now with strict Keto.
Heidi Sand ...I drank the bone broth 3 times a day as my “meals” and then water throughout the day. I actually think the plain water fasts I’ve done in the past were easier than adding the bone broth. I don’t know why but will do another bone broth fast before I decide. Might have just been my body at this time so will give it another try.
You are really a legend Thomas! Your videos are really of high quality despite advertising for products directly. Really looking forward for your vegan month!! And can you compare your recommanded fishes (US Haddock,California and Pacific Halibut,Alaska Cod, Pacific Sardines, Wild Alaskan Salmon, Mussels) and make a ranking? And is crab meat(snow crab legs, cooked) a good source of protein? Keep up the good work!!
Completed the 3 days kinda... My starting weight was 83kg and I got as low as 81kg on the morning of day three, I'm about 82kg 2days after. I had 200mL of bone broth for breakfast and lunch each day and 400mL for dinner, the first day was all beef, the last two days were chicken for breakfast and lunch with beef for dinner. I worked out shoulders on the first day and chest on the last, I know you said not to do slow sustained cardio but I walked about 20km each of the three days because it's pretty much a ritual by now. I felt a 7 on the first day, 5-6 the second day and an 8-9 the third day until after my final meal. I felt ridiculously hungry all three days and I'm never hungry on OMAD, I've done two 16hr dry fasts before as well as a few full day fasts but never a prolonged fast, I loved the other fasts but this was brutal for me physically. My stomach was rumbling almost constantly, although from previously having IBS and gerd many years ago, I felt that my gut got better and I still feel that two days later it has improved with functionality even though it wouldn't shut up for 3.5 days. I broke my fast on the night of the third day, my hunger was ridiculous and I was not going to sleep until it was satisfied, I was weak as and I got fast food from the only place open 24 hours in Australia... I don't have a monitor yet but I reckon I was hypoglycaemic on day two, I had no energy whatsoever. I would do maybe one day of this again to rebalance my gut but if I did another prolonged fast I'd just have water, I don't think I'd have a problem with another three day fast with just water...
I have been keto since June last year so I'm 9 months in, my daily fasting glucose is always high 90's. my normal glucose is 80 to 85. But I haven't been out of keto in months.
One thing to mention (and you might already know this), but in the video you said “the glucose in my liver and in my muscle got dumped into my blood stream” (time 7:27), true for liver but glycogen stored in skeletal muscle is not able to re-enter the blood stream. Once glucose is stored in skeletal muscle only that muscle is able to utilize it from then on. Just in case you haven’t heard that before. Really enjoying the content though!
I got so cold by day three as well. Odd, I did not lose any weight but the fat around my belly and back is a lot more squishy. At your recommendation I will eat normal for a few days the do three days of IF. Hope that helps the weight loss. Thanks for doing this, I really enjoyed it.
This video was AMAZING. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing the info. I decided I’ll make my own bone broth. Now, my question is, when putting it in the fridge, and taking it out to eat, there’s a layer of fat on the top. Would you recommend I skim that off or just heat and eat please??
I've been "eating" a beef broth soup (a cup of broth with 2/3 cup of picante sauce) and some occasional boiled eggs for two weeks, and I've lost about a pound a day. I have two "meals" a day.
My blood glucose is always elevated after HIIT...even when I haven't had any carbs the day prior. I am very well fat adapted. It's always kind of a shock to see such a high blood glucose.
When I get ready to fast, I will drink edible clay which will push all the toxins out of the bowels. Fasts can be a problem when it comes to elimination. Clay adds a ton of bulk besides absorbing toxins. Be sure to hydrate the clay first. 1 tablespoon of edible clay hydrated in 8 oz of water for several hours is the best way. Great stuff.
Hi Thomas, I've been following your channel for a while now and I have learned a great deal about health, I thank you for your effort and honesty! Recently I a have encountered a doubt about bone broth. Other channels along with various website claim that bone broth really don't have any health benefits. Some information I found even claimed the collagen in bone broth is not good because its exogenous and it uses the oxalate path way! Can u please shine more light please on this matter? Thanks
It was nice being a part of the fast with you Thomas. About the "sugar binge" the day prior: do you think that you could have reduced your blood glucose rapidly if you did extreme HIIT explosive cardio before the fast, right after eating the sugar?

Cool to have this kind of real world experience documented for us. Thanks!
All the videos in the world won't help without a practical application
I mix my week with 4 hrs of eating 20 hour fasting, OMAD, 1 day 8 hrs of eating 16 hr fast, and 1 day no fasting. The results have been awesome.
Thanks for chargin our lives Thom!
90 hours, great group suport, thank you Thomas!
You're very welcome!
Your son adores you
Look how he smiles at you and pats your chest
How beautiful
I just ordered the fasting packs from K&F for my own EF. Thanks for the inspiration! I'll post my results, just as you asked, so that the community can benefit. Thanks again!
Looking forward to it!
Your results make me so happy, as I have the same big swings with fasting, feeding, with both weight and blood numbers.
Glad I could shed some light!
I measured glucose and ketones:
Hour #0:
Glucose:93 mg/dl
Ketones:0.0 mmol/L
Hour #24
Glucose:88 mg/dl
Ketones:0.0 mmol/L
Hour #30
Glucose:86 mg/dl
Ketones:0.6 mmol/L
Hour #48
Glucose:77 mg/dL
Ketones:2.2 mmol/L
Hour#72
Glucose:68 mg/dl
Ketones:2.6 mmol/L
Hour#96
Glucose:65 mg/dL
Ketones:3.3 mmol/L
Hour#108(1 hour after eating a rib eye and broccoli)
Glucose: 86mg/dl
Ketones: 2.8 mmol/L
Any idea how to understand these results?
Appreciate you breaking this down, Thomas!
Thanks for watching!!
Please do more challenges like this I really enjoyed it .
I'm working on it!
Weighed in at 221.3 day three at 216.2. Staying on for a couple more days my goal was 215 before Christmas.
You're basically there! Rock and Roll!
YOU GO DADDIO
How often do you drink the broth in a day?
Thanks for the update and reflection on the 3 day fast. I will post my results tomorrow. 👍
Can't wait to hear about it!
Your learning curve explained is tremendous value for those like me who have yet to endeavor this trek.
That was the goal. Thank you for watching!
Very knowledgeable and transparent. thanks for making the sacrifice for our benefit.
Glad you enjoyed the info! Thanks for watching!!
It’s about time. I was worried that I did not see you for the last two days. Yah. Your back.
I didn't die. Just got a little busy with the holidays
Completely outstanding with your videos as always. Keep up the great work.
I live close to a grass-fed dairy and get bones regularly...I prefer to make my own!
Homemade is completely different than even the best broth on the store shelf.
Wtf lol
Who cares
Cheaper and better
Lucky!!
Results
Starting weight: 194.2lbs
Ending weight: 188.0 (-6.2lbs, probably ~5lbs water)
Today (2nd day after): 190lbs
Glucose at fast end: 62
Glucose post fasted workout: 77
Glucose 1hr post workout: 109
Keep in mind those glucose readings are in the afternoon, so no dawn effect.
Wow! Great results! Thanks for this!
It was very very interesting experiment to follow ! Thanks for doing great work, and Merry Christmas for everyone !
Merry Christmas!
Awesome! Sounds like a great way to kickstart a keto lifestyle
Great job!
Very informative with the data! Like always thank you for your hard work and professionalism.
Thank you for watching!
This is unrelated to the BBF but I’ve been doing 48 hour fasts for a while now. I eat one meal at the end of 48 hours. Feel great and I’ve lost a ton of weight. Thanks Thomas! And congrats on the fast!
Thank you for watching!
Amazing video Thomas. Brilliant one. Honestly!
Thanks for watching!!
Glad you had fun with it!
Great Video....super inspirational!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching!!
Excellent information. Really useful. Thank you
Thank you for watching!
I'm glad you liked it!
Thomas DeLauer Thomas, I’m looking to purchase your services for myself and my wife... I’m just not sure which is the best for our needs
By coincidence I finished a smilar fast today. First day was no problem. Second night I experienced increased heart rate.
Roland Strauss Interesting about the increased heart rate... I’m planning on doing the fast again starting in the next couple of days... just to hit the re-set again after the Christmas eating season.
So happy you reached a well deserved 1 mill subs
Thanks for being one of them!
Thanks for uploading on my brithday 😁🙏🏾

Happy Birthday!!!!!!
Thankyou Thomas..would you please consider creating a video about nourishing, increasing and protecting the Mitochondria in relation to anti-ageing?
-Nic
Very interesting
Great video Tom
Completed. Feel awesome. But had to crank the heating up... I was freezing.. Plus staying in chilly Scotland doesn't help
..
Loved this for so many reasons! Thank you for the science.
Thank you for watching!
Great video Thomas! I’ve just made my own bone broth and will begin my fast tomorrow. 👌🏼
That's great! I hope you enjoyed it (and you enjoy the cookies!)
Great report. I am day three of 5 day fast.
Great info. Thanks for doing these experiments
Thank you for watching!
Don't have a choice. You are the only source for keto that explains what is going on. I would have failed miserably had I not found your channel.
Wow, Thomas you had an interesting journey! 😂 I went in great, felt the effects, I had great data. I did not have any desire to binge or do any crazy eating after. I am way more mindful. 💪🏼💪🏼 Thank you so much! 🎄
You're welcome!
We need to bring this back !
That's awesome. Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks. I fast once a month.. No bone broth. I'm trying to do a 3 day. I usually only do 48hours. My ketones read 1.7 usually around hour 38 - 40. I guess that's good. Thanks for all your info.
Good job! Thanks for sharing the journey! Quick question: Have you ever experienced sensitivity to tastes to increase after fasting?
I was going to do 5 days, but ended at 4. I checked my blood daily. My blood sugar ran between 65 to 75 and my ketones 2.8 to 5.
Were you keto before you started?
@@ThomasDeLauerOfficial Yes I was. I have been Keto for 15 months. Down 80 pounds.
@@janetbarker5104 that's awesome. How much did you lose on the 4 day fast? Congrats to you 🎉
It's great you completed your bone broth fast with such amazing results.
That's awesome! Thank you for sharing your results!
I LOVE CRAB MEAT
This was such a helpful video for me. I have found that when I do a longer fast I experience an afterburner effect of higher ketones.
Loved that Thomas..I feel as though I was there with you..great information..our body's are werd huh?
Thank you for playing with me!!!
👍Absolutely awesome info. Thank you for doing this and sharing. 💞
Thomas is shredded year round #respect
This video was AMAZING. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing the info. I decided I’ll make my own bone broth. Now, my question is, when putting it in the fridge, and taking it out to eat, there’s a layer of fat on the top. Would you recommend I skim that off or just heat and eat please??
Superb vid thanks! Still learning every day.
Can you show us how to make a cold brew coffee youreself?
Thank you the glucose and ketone readings. I am in a water fast right now and my glucose is staying pretty flat. Almost through day 2
Do you usually take only black coffee as pre workout or have you tried any other supplements such as Beta Alanine? Love your videos.
Good job brother !!
I appreciate it! Thanks for watching!!
