I have CX Triton and YOW Arica board and for bowl I am riding Arica because its more flow and bigger deck. However some tricks involving coping and front trucks mentioned in the video would be quite challenging on more loose trucks such as YOW Meraki. In the end you can ride a bowl also on swelltech but probably you wont be doing many tricks but its the closes to surf. Its really hard I just bought softer Bushing for my CX so will give it a try.
Depends a lot on what you want to do and your size. I’ll make a video going into detail about this soon. If I’m just carving, I like a steeper concave deck. Carver cx trucks are still my go to because they work really well and they are so light. Personally, I like the feel of lighter trucks. 93a durometer wheels are great and a contact patch of at least 29 mm and diameter between 60-65 mm works well. But it also depends on your bowl… Yikes. I could go on forever 😅 I’ll make a video 🙌🏼
Which carvers do you have? I own the 70 mm roundhouse wheels 78a durometer. They are pretty fast! But too grippy for my liking. In this video I’m riding 65mm 81a surfskate love wheels. For me, they’re fast and they allow me to slide enough for the things I like to do.
Cx truck, this the one with the lowered front kingpin so you can grind? Or I’m thinking of the c5 truck? Just looked like you were pulling off grinds with out getting caught

Yep, I reversed the kingpin on the front truck only. With that, no problem!
