There are so many ways to putt, push putt and spin putt being the most common. In shorter putts you can leave the wrist flick off and use the push version, but mostly you want to practice giving the disc the spin with a wrist flick. That is what keeps it on line and in control.
I was up there just today! Love the course, I hope this helps me putt because I did badly today putting. Still almost aced twice lol Maybe I'll see ya out there sometime
The hardest thing for me to understand about putting is what I should do with my wrist and fingers right at release. Should you give a little flip of the wrist to create spin or basically open your hand as you push to disc forward?
I have been playing for 3-4months and I disc golf way better than years of experienced players, 20aces already:) and all due to your tips, thanks will.
DiscGolf3599 Length of the courses makes a difference. I have 32 aces and have been playing for 3 years, but I also live in Minnesota where over half of our courses are pitch and putt courses. I hardly throw my drivers or even my mids here because everything is so short. I also don't have an ace that is over 300 feet, all of my aces are with putters and 1 ace with a mid.
Is the elbow bend conscious or is it just a natural action? And what does placing the pinky in the rim do for the putt? Do you feel like you get more power, control? Both?
i usually practice putting from various distances inside 50ft. My friends and i always get into conversation about pros putting compared to ours. We have a little challenge going on where we try and make consecutive putts from 25ft out and the record as of now is 15 discs.Would you consider that a decent range to be consistently that good at making? or should we back it up before we can consider ourselves good putters?
Hey Will I play with your Dad every week. He's a great guy, and I've heard amazing things about you. Hoping you'll see this ! You're sick !

***** agreed, I've been playing for 4 years roughly and just got my first ace.
I dont think 20 Aces happen at a course in 3-4 months, let alone 1 person.

***** Yeah, this is what has occurred. 20 aces... Right.
20 aces from inside the circle maybe.
Do a new putting demo! You're like 10x better now probably!
Haha this comment didn't age well
@@Jesterian what happened?
@@ericsteyart7723 ol Shoestrings doesn't really perform like he used to, and it's mainly putting woes.
I found it helps me keep my throw level if I put my non-throwing hand under the disc a bit before release.
WILL____Are those your Destroyer stamped Aviars on Ebay ???
The "hitch" is unconscious action I cant explain. I use the pinky for the support of the back of the putter.
How about a demo on us Will?
is that an aviar with a destroyer stamp? if so im diggin it and NEED one!
I got 6 aces while watching this video....thanks will.
Depends mostly on your style of putting, but for the most part it's always important to put at least a small amount of spin on the disc.
If it is drastically uphill, I will straddle putt since its hard to shift my body weight upwards.
Excellent!
Does his putter have a Destroyer stamp?
Omg I got 36 aces after watching this thanxorZ!

How much finger/thumb pressure do you apply on the disc? And where is the most pressure applied? Thanks!
Pro Destroyer stamped KC Aviar?
Yes
Im from Lavergne Tennessee do you eve come and play at sharp springs
Yes!
Is it more of a guiding of the disc or a pushing of the disc?
I have a problem with the disc having a wobble when putting, how do I fix this?

Diggin the shades
LucidDose cuz ur gay
What Ortay3 said about the elbow..is that on purpose?
Do you change anything in your putt when you have an awkward stance on a hill or if you have to straddle putt?
What kind of new balance shoes are those?
Hey Will I play in those shoes too!
I do the "hitch" totally unconsciously.
Came to read about the "hitch", not much detail. Care to go into more detail about it?
what shoes are those!?
Nice music :)
Without green shades? Nada!!!
Good stuff , thank you

Like Rodney says "Just put it in the deer feeder."
Do I need green glasses?
Groovy.
Plot twist:The reason Schusterick is always in sun glasses is because he is actually blind!
+Tod Nissle No it is because he is always baked.
