- "Lovecraft Country" star Jonathan Majors reveals what's next on HBO's new historical science fiction series. "Pay very, very close attention to who you meet," Majors revealed on the Variety After-Show. "Just be on your toes and have your head on a swivel, things are not as they seem, ever." Majors, who recently made a splash with his role on Spike Lee's "Da 5 Bloods," revealed several topics this series will be tackling throughout the series including the Black Lives Matter movement, family, Americana, what it means to be a soldier in America, and colorism.
But as for spoilers, who was the woman who was lowered from the UFO in the pilot's intro? Majors points to the book his character was reading, "A Princess of Mars."

As a Black African American man with " strong ethnic features," I can appreciate his unconventional leading man looks. Featurism and colorism are often one and the same so I'm hoping he doesn't succumb to the" Hollyweird" pressure and be proud of his African American heritage.
I was thinking the same thing. His features are bold and so pronounced. I can't think of anyone else who has looked like him that has been a leading actor in a long time. The knotty hair, wide nose, thick lips all represent strength and beauty and he isn't shying away from it. It's very heartwarming to see him shine in the spotlight.
He knocked it out of the park too. Can't wait to see more from him.
all I know is.... the Emmys better have this casts’ awards polished, names engraved, and ready to goooo

Can we say that the women the Freeman men married were also amazing! The mother and ancestor of Atticus' mother, Hippolyta, and Lettie, these women are intelligent and strong.

We are all still grieving the loss of brother Chadwick Boseman, but after the grieving period is over I seriously want Disney and Marvel Entertainment to consider this young actor who just blows me away with his God given ability to act as a very viable and creditable Ta'Challa king of Wakanda. In the Amazon movie "The Last Black Man In San Francisco" if I closed my eyes without ever having seen Jonathan Majors, I would have thought is were Denzel Washington delivering those lines. So Jonathan Majors #BlwckPanther.

@@eyes7054 Jonathan Majors is far past a screen test and would haven't a problem pulling it off. However since the MCU has cast him as Kang the Conqueror then, maybe they would take a look at Yahya Abdul-Mateen as a viable replacement.
