I'm so upset that Hunter and Vee didn't get to interact. Their traumas both root from the same person, and I wished I had just seen them acknowledge each other, it would have been so cool
@CipherRage-tp5ql this comment wasn't an attack on the writers. They know that its disneys fault. They just wished that it happened and not blaming the writers for not doing.
Hunter has a pack. When we met him he was nothing now like the animals on his shirt he has a group of people who love him for who he is not what he is.
This show experienced the one of worst possible scenario for a storyteller to go through. With what the creators have been able to do so far I commend the story they're making, but I will forever damn Disney for robbing us of what the owl house was supposed to be
Yes, this. It's hard watching all of these montages and opening scenes and knowing those could have been multiple episodes if Disney hadn't screwed this up.
Dana has honestly done a stellar job with what her team was allotted. I still wish we could have had a full 3rd season. Maybe if we’re REALLY lucky, Disney will allow Dana to create some kind of spin-off.
Not really the worst, the worst scenario is if they didn't even tell you this is the last season, so you can't change the story to make it the end. (Looking at you CN and Netflix)
@@Rutabega_NG They weren't going to be multiple episodes of that regardless. They were only in the human realm because of the Collector and the Collector only exists because the show got cut.
It's just so unfair that the show is ending this spring!!! 😭 It's not that i'm not prepared for good things coming to an end. It's just that I wish we could've more episodes. I'm gonna miss TOH so much I still can't believe the show is ending. 😢💔
@@leonishikino6873 Speaking of which, Marvel delayed some of their projects because they want improve their cgi, have time to breathe in between each project and most importantly, go back to focusing on quality over quantity.
i tend to think that the Collector's pivot in personality is because he had to play by Belos' rules (the draining spell, etc.) and didn't want to upset Belos in fear of being buried again, keeping up a positive face to try and lighten up his eventual freedom.
I will NEVER forgive them for shortening this show. I can hope for deleted scene content and comics. But I am thankful we get an ending at all, and the team have done a fantastic job given the crap they have
Honestly, I think it is living up to the hype. I mean, have you seen for the future?! So good. We get an idea of what the other side has been through while Luz and the others have been stuck on earth. And we get a lot of character breakthroughs. And thanks to them? It was the premiere, and there was only so much they could do on earth, and even then we got some major Luz lore, like with her dad, and Belos lore too. Confirming many theories. Besides, any problems with the ending, I’m blaming Disney on for cutting them unfairly short. If they really wanted the owl house out of the picture, they should’ve just done what amphibia season 1 did and have a full season and release it all very quickly or something.
@@leonishikino6873 we would definitely buy the dvds the reason people pirate the way they do is because most of the fans can't get Disney plus or can't watch the series where they live
I do think the crew is able to adjust very well for this shortened season, even tho we could've had more, and I hope Dana would make more Owl House in a comic book series. Hopefully they are for episodes of season 3 that never got to be on screen like the Hexside students figuring out ways to survive The Collector, or that moment when Vee and Hunter had an argument with each other (it is from the last Posthoot podcast that I got to see where they discussed having an episode of that). Hopefully, how the last special will go out, I bet the crew will shoot straight to the moon.
@Level:OP what did they say the argument was about? Also, is she alllowed to put Owl House comics out or does Disney buy the copyright/righths to the Owl House story?
Regarding the Collector's bedroom planet, it seems to be a reference to Le Petit Prince. The asteroid-sized planet with its own gravity, the loneliness of the Prince, even the character design is reminiscent of the Collector's own little world. A "child of the stars," adrift in a strange world of adults who try to manipulate him in ways that he doesn't comprehend, all while not understanding the significance of death until it happens to someone he cares about. He spends the rest of his life trying to discover what "death" is, whether it is a permanent end or a transformation. Not to mention, the fact that the Prince dies via snake bite in the desert may hint to the involvement of Luz's palisman in his downfall, whether it's permanent or not. I think using Le Petit Prince as a way to study the Collector also makes sense of the balance of maturity/childishness they're trying to strike.
I have to agree I think Season 3 has been amazing so far. The team was able to work with what they got and so far, it worked out very well. I think both episodes have been amazing, also, I am so happy that season has been avoiding cliches.
Police: let's see if I understand... did your stepmother and stepsister go on a trip and leave you in the car in the cemetery? Vee:…yes…it's a curious story that definitely doesn't involve magic or witches
Officer Steve: Hmmm... Alright then. We'll get a to truck out there for ya, we'll have to charge you if there's any eggs or toilet paper in there though
Saying Camilla needed to be fixed isn't really right. She had no screentime... And things kinda where justified... We didn't get to see callilas side as she wasn't a character like that just something to push the plot... Now we see more of her... Camilla didn't deed to be fixed we just needed to see her side
Yeah while I have my regrets that we’ll never get to see the Owl House Season 3 At it’s fullest potential if Disney didn’t cut such a fantastic series. But in my eyes *YES* Thanks to Them was still a brilliant season premiere. And while For the Future has it’s grips It’s still another fantastic special. ( Hexsode, Boscha and Kikimora were just the most dissapointing aspects of an otherwise great special.) So I trust Dana and the writers to give us a Fantastic conclusion to the series.
I just hope they don't ruin it by showing either: Luz staying on Earth forever Earth and the Demon Realm gets combined (not just because of pulling a Star vs. the Forces of Evil, but also endanger Earth citizens with demons and witches) Luz dies and meets the Guardian (even though it's pointless with no calamity gems, but Amphibia and Owl House shares the same universe) Odalia gets redeemed and she and Amity make up
that last one NOT GONNA HAPPEN! now the realms merging can work but only one way, if the collector made a doorway that kinda acted as a bridge think like when you come to a narrow river that you can hop over, if it was like that it would be a good way of doing it, so yeah that part would be workable in the story.
Odalia has to be the most irredeemable "villain" in the series she literally chooses money and fame over her own family and has torn them apart she does not need to "make it up" with Amity because she fucked that all up in the second to last episode of the owl house season two final
@@MRDLT00 the show made it clear her dad is a scatterbrained workaholic, the flashback in understanding willow was one part misdirection and one part foreshadowing cause amity said in reaching out that alador went along with things rather than actually agreeing to them.
I absolutely agree. Dana and the crew worked with what they got and they were able to make the most out of it. I have no doubts that the finale will be The Return of the King for the Owl House.
Boscha was needed as part of Willow's spiral: she's been holding in all of her problems when they crop up, and the chain of failing to protect Hunter in what's clearly the biggest failure in her life from her perspective at the end of the previous episode, not knowing how to help Hunter grieve with it, accidentally making it worse by reminding Hunter flapjack is gone trying to show him pictures she took of him from before, causing her old self esteem issues to crop up as she snaps at Boscha only to be made fun of again and ambushed, and losing control of her powers (which seems to be something that happens with innately powerful mages like her and Gus)
From my part, it is. A lot. But there's something that has been bothered me in the last couple of days and I wish to have your stances on the latter guys... So this is the thing: Sarah-Nicole Roble, the Voice actress of Luz Noceda, said in an interview at the Kamicon, that other than losing a close member of her family, the hardest she ever cried in her life was... recording the series finale of The Owl House. This... freaks me out a lot. It makes me etremely worried for the fate of the characters, but most importantly, it makes me extremely worried for Lumity. After all the fond memories I got of them from the show and from the various fanarts, the thinking of it being destroyed in the finale, and consequently all of it becoming completely null and void, like if they never happened in the first place makes me freaking out. I thought that listening to other points of view on the matter could help, so I really need your stances on the matter: Do you think Lumity will be' destroyed in the finale? Motivate your answer....
Hey there friend, straight to the point: Lumity being torn apart the reason Sarah Nicole-Roble apparently broke down hard in what she described as one of the ABSOLUTE hardest moments in her life (deep breath)...is far fetched But not to rub salt in the wound, while the girls' relationship is very well developed, very wholesome, and EXTREMELY TOO POPULAR to be the breaking moment at the literal end of The Owl House, the stars would be proper aligned to make it so, or in this case, MISALIGNED! Sorry That's also a stretch, yet without getting into specific examples that I regrettably can't name off the top of my head, I'm almost certain we've had those kind relationship-ending moments throughout media before, and so bad they no doubt left others seriously heartbroken Bottom line, the breakup of Lumity is something we nor Dana Terrace can confirm or deny at this point in time. All we can do is wait until early April for the general end of a legendary series, before we see as to whether or not we'll be getting the end of a legendary adventure 🥲 Hope that helps pal, stay 🦉
She said that she wouldn't specify if it was of happiness or sadness, but the fact that she mentioned happiness makes me think that it may be because of that.....
I really doubt that lumity will just be discarded in the final episode of the owl house cuz why would Dana and her team work so so hard for lumity to happen (ultimately costing them a proper end to their show) just to ruin it at the last second??
Keep in mind that the entire show trajectory was changed from early Season 2 onward, and the Collector and everything involving him was created for the cut. Even if Disney didn't cut the show and we did get a longer third season, it wouldn't have been "what we got but extended". It would have been more Isles stuff setting up for the Day of Unity. No human realm, no Collector.
55:09 I think it was truma-shock playing a part in why she hadn’t realized it was raining when she first arrived because amity was so shocked about what had happened back at home
Honestly some say it dosent but think about it !!! This is all the had to work with it’s so amazing even though the crew had to work so hard to make this masterpiece
I still can't believe that the show is ending this year. It's too hard to say goodbye!😭💔 We really had a great thing going on here. With all the representations and especially Lumity💖🏳️🌈 that enchanted my heart. I'm really gonna miss this wonderful series. Thank you, Dana Terrace! 💌
I think it's worth noting that it's been several months since the Collector was let out and he has been with King that entire time, that's probably why he is more tame
during the Thanks to Them breakdown i realized something Luz's play, with the fake guts when we first saw that, it was during a try out and Luz got accepted with the same role and act for the actual play?...
I am dissapointed that characters like Gus and Vee dont seem to be getting proper conclusions to their arcs, but thats Disneys fault for being terrible. Objectively when looking at the circumstances this season is close to a 10 out of 10, Dana Terrace and her crew are actual geniuses.
@@eaglewolffox6275 That is true. But regardless, I'm at least glad we have these three parts. So we do have something and Dana and the crew were working with what they got.
I never thought I’d make it into the video! That was so awesome to see!! So glad you guys enjoyed my artwork! That was so so cool! Amazing video as always!! Been watching you guys since the beginning! 💖
The 1613 arrival of Caleb and Phillip in Gravesfield is an obvious error. There were no colonial settlements in Connecticut at that time. In fact the first explorer of the Connecticut River did not arrive until 1614 (six years before Plymouth Colony was founded. The first settlement in CT was from colonists from Massachusetts Bay Colony (founded in 1630) and, I think was around 1637, although there was a small fort built in the Hartford area a year earlier. However, if you slide their arrival to 1643, the Wittebane timeline still works.
Here's the thing... @1:32:17, Amity is reminding Luz what the Bat Queen said about revealing your deepest wish to get your palisman. But Amity wasn't at school when that day happened. Did her parents arrange a separate appointment for Amity to get Ghost? Her siblings never got palismen. Aside from that, it's been a great show. I will be sad to see it end.
If everyone who had a coven seal was going to die on unit day, what did Philip plan to do to the children and people not sealed? Was he going to leave them there knowing they couldn't survive on their own?
That's why on season 2 ep. 18, the illusion coven head was going around in schools, to get all of the children who didn't have any sigils yet. It's just that Gus managed to save Hexside, which was why they were fine in the finale.
One thing I don't see a lot of people mention about Eda, Lilith, and Belos is that Belos probably saw a lot of himself in Lilith. Both are the younger siblings who are probably overshadowed by their older sibling. Both get angry at said siblings for some reason. Belos probably sees the same drive in Lilith that he saw in himself. Willing to do anything to get what they wanted. I think that just added to the whole revenge plot he had against Witches and Evelyn in general.
Actually it is confirmed that Lilith is the older sister. It was also shown in one episode. Other than that you’re probably right about everything else.
I can see the collector just going with what Belos wanted, just to be free. I mean, he was trapped for hundreds of years and from what we see, for stuff that wasn't even his fault. He probably was willing do anything to be free. plus, i can see him trying to act similar to belos, just to please the tyrant or because he doesn't know how else to act around him. (People you are around will influence you more then you will ever know)
When we were introduced to boiling rain in the boiling isles, Eda yells out "Boiling Rain!" As though there's different types of rain and this is particularly bad, like Hail vs a thunderstorm, both are dangerous but hail particularly so. I think Amity is still distrustful of any rain, one might sting but there's possibly worse that might happen
I feel like Thanks to Them was great, but For the Future was rushed in some parts and dragged in others, but was still otherwise good. What I personally want to see out of Watching and Dreaming is: The Collector to realize his mistake, and to undo what he has done. Belos to either die, or get imprisoned, because for him, the worst punishment would be to see humans and witches living together peacefully. Odalia, Terra, and all the other Belos loyalists getting their comeuppance. Luz switching between the Demon realm and Human realm, because unlike Amphibia, this show’s theme is not change, but found family.
Maybe they're saving the intimidating collector for the final, besides Bill cipher was both threatening and likeable, they could've done that with the collector too!
Small Correction: the box labled Playa in the break down did not have an american flag. It had the flag of Purter Rico. Which makes me think that might be where they where from originally or at least where their family is from.
Camila is canonically Dominican. That’s why there’s a Dominican Republic flag on the wall. Maybe Manny is the one who was from Puerto Rico. It makes sense why the flag would be in the box because it hurt Camila to look at it.
Something I just noticed in the 3-1 breakdown section, but failed to notice in the original video: In the box marked "Playa," that is not an American flag. It's a Puerto Rican flag. What's hilarious is that immediately after misidentifying that flag, you correct yourself on the Dominican one. Just... flags are your Achilles' heel I guess.
Honestly betting on anything that Luz and Amity share their potential final kiss on the lips this episode Cause Luz might die if Dana is feeling angsty Edit: Thank titan I was wrong!
Okay so... I rewrite For the Future mostly out of boredom: -Everything processes as normal until they encounter King and the Collector is revealed that the Owl House game is about recreating in order every single adventure Luz has during the series. (At that moment they are recreating the Amity rescue mission of "Clouds on the Horizon") but with a couple of more childish twists, using other characters to recreate said episodes (Willow's and Gus's dads are there. Including a normal Odalia and pepper Alador) once they finish the " episode" The Collector mentions how they can't wait for their next game after finishing "The Owl House" -Should also point out how because of the Collector's influence magic itself has become kinda wacky, so memory scissors are a no go from now. -They go through Hexside as before and once they encounter Bosha who apart from explaining how things bad things are mentioned how the are surrounded the Skull had been turn into a battleground (The Collector is planning to recreate "King's tide" but with 10 times more explosions), Luz and Hunter quickly realize they are wasting time with her and they push her aside to put everything back in order. -The sections for King, The Collector, and Belos work satisfactorily well. So no changes for them -From there, everyone plans for a way to get to the skull and the Collector's palace without relaying to much in general magic. So everyone embarked on a journey across the Titan to gather any survivors and resources that may help them. -The following would play out almost like a compilation of moments from said journey, I admit that this part sounds a little cramped and probably unnecessarily long. But I'm mostly adding this to give equal time to everyone to shine and provide some levelnof conclusion to some untouched matters. -Hunter and Gus meet with some now unemployed Coven scouts and with how "not in the mood" he successful in getting them aboard the plan, together with some airships and abomatons. (Probably including a lazy and depressed Kikimora who doesn't care anymore) -Luz and Camila visit the palisman forest where they discover that the Bat Queen was turned into a puppet to protect the forest and her babies. Once Luz presents them the flute (Hunter find it back with the scouts) they agree to go with her together with all the remaining palismans there. Meanwhile, Camila convinces the escaped Basilisks to help them once she starts to talk about Vee and how much the girl means to her. -Willow and Amity visit one of the other schools and after beating Tibbles and the criminals and bullies he paid to protect him (Bosha shows up and helps them too) they not only get all of the students support, but also the savage ages artifacts and other things that Tibbles stole from the castle. -Each section is not only dedicated to them, but also intented to provide each pair some space to interact. (Gus confess to Hunter about knowing he already knowing he was a grimwalker) (Camila assuring Luz that she will be allowed to visit rhe Demon realm and that she is also a nerd) (A resolution for Willow and Amity regarding the impact Bosha had in their lives) -From there everyone gathers to prepare to start the plan which consists of making a path through the battlefield which would act as a distraction to allow the main group to slip through. After getting the support of literally everyone she met in the demon realm and the encouragement of her friends, girlfriend and mother her palisman hatches, she has finally forgive herself. She faces at the skull starting the countdown to go. -The end is pretty much the same. But this time Belos warms The Collector about both King's and Luz's plan. Probably not the most perfecr story but for me, feels more consistent and satisfying.
I love Vee so much, every time she appears only makes me want more of her, and safe to say I'm pretty bummed that they very clearly had more plans for her that the shortening made the team very heavily simplify. In particular, the fact she and Luz never said a word to each other; they totally could've worked in a sisterly bonding moment somewhere. Oh well... But if we get a moment in the final special where she and her camp friends swoop in to give Belos a few punches, and then show Camila officially adopting her, it'll be all good.
So far the only complaint I have about S.3 is the scene where Willow is told to let it all out. Since S.1 we daw her powers tied to her emotions so for her to only say she missed her dad's was too short. They should have let her go all out. I know they are short on time but they could have made some adjustments.
Even if they shortened a scene like when King and the collector went back to the castle. Rather than have them fly up qnd land just have them land and already you have a few extra seconds for Willow.
While it sucks that this show is ending early due to a CERTAIN someone, or multiple someones for that matter, I am hopeful for the future. There could very well be a spinoff series (although I would not get my hopes up) and from what I know, Alex Hirsch is also in the development of making a show with Netflix (although that makes me uneasy given Netflix's recent history with shows). Edit: Just realized that I accidently made a pun with 'for the future' lol.
I think the most interesting way to have spun the collector without changing too much was too make him try and go after luz because he is worried that she will steal king from him. Then it still ends in the same spot except you that when someone inevitably talks him down it will be over something he has done not something he thought someone else did. But I am not a screenwriter
A few points i’d like to make. First, a correction: It wasnt an American Flag, its the puerto rican one. Secondly, i dont think Hunter would stay in the human realm like you suggest in the convo between him and Gus mainly because as he was breaking out from the possession, he did state he wants to study wild magic and attend hexside as a student.
It’s my personal head cannon that the collector is nicer in this episode because he is around nicer people, he’s shown to be easy to manipulate so I think belos made him more sinister when he was the only person he was around
You can bet that the Hexide part would have been a mini "filler" arc if we had gotten a full 3rd season, and everyone would have complained about it. I'm honestly kind of glad that they had to keep it so comparably short. Hexide had sooooo much potential for so many things, and while the special did have some good Hexide scenes, it's painfull just how much of it's potential was wasted. And no, it wasn't wasted becouse of to view episodes. It was wasted becouse of the direction they took the school in, and more episodes wouldn't have fixed that. Probably the oposite, if I'm honest.
I think that the colector. Seeming more evil and intimidating in the previous episode could have something to do with bellows’ influence. It’s kinda a flimsy explanation but it makes some sense
Thankfully, I tended watch Rebecca Rose around S1B, and her views pretty well set away any thoughts I would've had of Camila being a bad mom. In fact, her mention of Camila's low rep in her YL review actually had me surprised. And many fics I saw pre-S2 seemed to reflect that, mostly pairing her with Eda, as we had yet to learn of their canon partners, and Luz gets both her mamas. And even her giving Amity some much needed mother affection, as most of us have been sour on Odalia up to this very day.
I'm curious what they are gong to do with Amity in the finale. Odalia is there, Alador is missing and Luz still wants to say to Amity that she wants to stay in the human realm. Also I don't know if they are planning something on Amity and Luz considered how often they are questioning their future.
Consider this. The only reason Luz was planning on staying in the human realm was because she felt bad for messing up, but after seeing that Camila understood her and realized that’s all she ever wanted, that meant she no longer had to feel bad about messing up. Plus, she went from pulling away from Amity’s kiss at the start to accepting to her affection by leaning towards her at the end. This indicates that their relationship will survive. Dana didn’t fight hard for it for nothing.
Could you make a "theory video" guessing how season 3 would have been with 20 episodes? Like, "Thanks to them" opening with that montage felt like all those missing episodes crammed into a 5 minute sequence.
I disagree with the notion that Hunter will stay on earth since when he fought Belos's possession, every single interest he listed is connected to the Boiling Isles as a whole, and ultimately, Hunter doesn't actually have anything substantial that ties him to Earth. Wolves, Cosmic Frontier, and sewing are cute little hobbies he has, but that's about it and he didn't really grow attached to the realm and the happiness he experienced didn't come from the Earth but from the time he spent with his friends who all want to return home, just as much as he wants to go home after everything is said and done and Hunter's not at home on Earth.
Given Dana Terrace's love for anime , the lil maestro in The Magic Circle shop actually made me think of The Baron in Whisper of the Heart. Miyazaki, of course.
I can't believe I watched it this whole thing, but I am obsessed so it's not that much of a stretch. I will remain forever bitter with Disney for denying us what could have been a fantastic season 3. And impressed with the way Dana Terrace and crew made excellent lemonade out of these horrible lemons.
Just got through the Review section, and before I settle down and watch the rest of this movie, I have something to say. Just about everything wrong with these specials comes down to them being the end points of entire story arcs that were taken away from both us and the creators. Personality jumps? Missed potential? All due to six in-universe months we were not able to see, and the Crew were now allowed to animate. That the Specials are as good as they are is borderline Devine Intervention. Given the nature of the show, my money is on the FSM.
I said it when I watched the first, the second and will say it when I watch the third episode of season 3: it was worth it, i don't regret a single episode.the last season was crippled yet managed to come on top shows how much the writers care about the show and the audience. I hope Dana and others take future projects and never give up on animation.
Spring Valley from NiGHTS Into Dreams & Cool Edge Night from Sonic Unleashed?! Also, the fact that I'm listening to Eggmanland Day from Sonic Unleashed while hearing Roger Craig Smith as Jacob who actually voice Sonic The Hedgehog 🦔 in the games as well isn't a coincidence at all! 😱
@roundtablevids What if king slowly influenced the collecter to become less aggressive off-screen?nyou can see him telling the collector to calm down whenever he's going too far, and the only reason horrible witches like terra and odalia survived is because THEYRE LITERALLY USED TO MANIPULATING CHILDREN!!!!!! 😭(Raine, and amity)
I rly like shows like these I feel like there kinda of a dime of dozen , between this star vs evil , gravity falls , adventure time , steven universe one thing you can say is though it all not perfect its they all have way more likes than dislikes and all of good characters, deep hidden stories that make sense , good relationships, funny and tense moments sure maybe not all or some seaosm are modern but overall they are good if not great cartoons
one fun little thing i found about season three was that just like how there was a secret message in the episode titles in season 1 and 2, for season three it is "thanks for watching" ( *thanks* to them, *for* the future, *watching* and dreaming )
This whole idea that Caleb saw witch hunting as evil, is it something that Dana confirmed at some point? Cause, I don't see how people came to this conclusion other than wanting to hope for the best of the best outcomes. I personally think he was just indifferent about it but went along with it as it helped him in supporting his brother. That his priority was ensuring that he and his brother always had the basics to get by every day. The idea that Caleb recognize witch hunting for what it was just feels like people injecting modern moral values and ethic into a society and time period when such morals and ethics were so different from today that they might as well be alien.
I'm sure no one cares but at 48:23 this is a Puerto Rican flag. 😂❤🇵🇷 I mean in just a second he explains he's no flag expert but hey it's just information.
Tl;dw, Camila sending Luz to a summer camp is slightly more understandable, Hunter should've learned more about Caleb with Gus, The Collector went from sociopath to dangerously socially oblivious, and the hexside section served little purpose other than willow's clumsily built-up mental breakdown. The end result is two episodes that provide a great setup to the end of a show that's arguably greater, but the process has lead to a few flaws that, while yes, are somewhat unavoidable due to time constraints, become more noticable with each rewatch.
just wanting to point out again that the part where you mention the sign outside the school is saying there are no non-puppets inside meaning there is no witches that have not been captured inside so the stars will ignore the area and thats also why the we love the collector is on the sign
I think that Dana and the makers of the show should’ve gotten the chance to make their usual length of the season. Although, good news for me, since I don’t watch Disney channel on cable, it’s lucky that I got to watch the full final season on UA-cam. I’m really sad it!s ending, and I won’t forget it.
I like the costume accessories that feel like they were made with a lot of love and not some cheap ass pieces of plastic or metal. The idea of seeing or hearing that someone painstakingly researched everything about what they are trying to replicate from fiction, right down to the subtleinst details, fuels my art loving heart. Hobbyists deserve more love and respect when they make these accessories, weapons, or even the foods from fiction right down to the bowls and plates they are served on. And i hear some hobbyists want to reverse the toyetic elements of certain accessories/weapons from magical girl shows like Pretty Cure by trying to make them look like actual artifacts that would, at least within their own universe, work the same way. Cure Scarlet's Scarlet Violin and the Dress Up keys that go with it for example. Someone is actually trying to make less toyetic versions of them to flaunt around at a con next time they cosplay as Cure Scarlet from Go Princess Pretty Cure! And i am trying to make a line of faithful as hell cosplay that can switch into more functional outfits by moving around the different components. Like Aisha from Winx Club with a majority of her cosplay doubling as fully functional Swimsuits and workout attire. So long as they don't feel samey or just a pallet swap with the other winx club members like the majority of the season 5-8 forms were with the only form that felt unique being the Bloomix form For example.
That flag by the beach things box is the Puerto Rican Flag not then American flag since it has a triangle and one star on it. Not trying to be a stickler though, just thought to point it out.
For the fanbase, not to much because they complain about how Disney left TOO MUCH cut content and wasted plots, if only these specials were 2 hours long, they would pack that cut content perfectly without any filler to put it in
disney gave the storytellers inadequate time to tell the story well because they assumed audiences wouldn't care if the story was rushed but turns out a lot of people like the story and they are mad it doesn't have time to be told well
Still wondering about the actual point of the Draining Spell. I mean, as far as I could see, all it would do is kill most of the Witches and magic using Demons on the Boiling Isles, specifically. It's already established that there are other Titan corpses able to support life in the Demon Realm. And there were at least some people who wouldn't have been affected within the target range. Children, and likely some wild Witches who were still hiding away, and non-biped Demons. Hundreds of years of effort to just, mostly wipe out one populated landmass on an entire world? Seems kinda half baked. If the spell was draining the magic to use for some other effect, then maybe, but that wasn't established.
The way I see it , the ones who were not turned in to puppets are the on es most likely to kiss but and do ANY thing it takes to suck up to whoever is in power . The ones who were toys are the ones most likely to fight back I don't thin k the collector turned people in to toys unprovoked. There are also many people who were not shown in the episode, with there fates unknown I wonder if they are toys or still alive?
I'm so upset that Hunter and Vee didn't get to interact. Their traumas both root from the same person, and I wished I had just seen them acknowledge each other, it would have been so cool
@CipherRage0909 I wasn't attacking the writers, I lready know this. I wasn't mad at the writers, I was mad at the situation. Calm down.
@CipherRage0909 they weren’t saying it was the writers fault.
@CipherRage-tp5ql this comment wasn't an attack on the writers. They know that its disneys fault. They just wished that it happened and not blaming the writers for not doing.
Hunter is like Smurfette:
both created with evil magic for evil purposes but thanks to people who really loved them they found their own identity
Omg how did I not make the connection?
That's a clever connection I can't believe I never thought of that.
Hunter has a pack. When we met him he was nothing now like the animals on his shirt he has a group of people who love him for who he is not what he is.
Toh sucks
hunter=smurfette confirmed
@@izuto727 changed it for this fact
@@Rutabega_NG They weren't going to be multiple episodes of that regardless. They were only in the human realm because of the Collector and the Collector only exists because the show got cut.
It's just so unfair that the show is ending this spring!!! 😭 It's not that i'm not prepared for good things coming to an end. It's just that I wish we could've more episodes. I'm gonna miss TOH so much I still can't believe the show is ending. 😢💔
I'm sad for the owl house to end as well but I'll always have memories of luz and her adventures!
Toh sucks
It’s sad the show is ending but Luz’s journey will live on.
It's a good thing it's ending because then Disney can focus on stuff that's actually worth a damn like their Marvel properties
It would have been super epic if somehow, after Belos's fake defeat, Kikimora had managed to find and seize Belos's wand/staff...
What hype? Noone talks about it after the episodes air. The Owl House is done, it's finished.

Hopefully, how the last special will go out, I bet the crew will shoot straight to the moon.
>able to adjust well
>The Collector is a boring villain
>They should've just had Belos being a solo villain
Honestly with what little they were given to work with for the final season the creators have managed to pull it off marvelously.
( Hexsode, Boscha and Kikimora were just the most dissapointing aspects of an otherwise great special.)
So I trust Dana and the writers to give us a Fantastic conclusion to the series.
I just hope they don't ruin it by showing either:
Luz staying on Earth forever
Earth and the Demon Realm gets combined (not just because of pulling a Star vs. the Forces of Evil, but also endanger Earth citizens with demons and witches)
Luz dies and meets the Guardian (even though it's pointless with no calamity gems, but Amphibia and Owl House shares the same universe)
Odalia gets redeemed and she and Amity make up
that last one NOT GONNA HAPPEN! now the realms merging can work but only one way, if the collector made a doorway that kinda acted as a bridge think like when you come to a narrow river that you can hop over, if it was like that it would be a good way of doing it, so yeah that part would be workable in the story.
Odalia has to be the most irredeemable "villain" in the series she literally chooses money and fame over her own family and has torn them apart she does not need to "make it up" with Amity because she fucked that all up in the second to last episode of the owl house season two final
They redeemed Amity’s dad despite how just as evil as Odalia he was in season 1’s flashback. Don’t get your hopes up. 😅
@@raincoatkid8477 are you agreeing with me or disagreeing with me? cause I literally said that would not happen.
@@MRDLT00 the show made it clear her dad is a scatterbrained workaholic, the flashback in understanding willow was one part misdirection and one part foreshadowing cause amity said in reaching out that alador went along with things rather than actually agreeing to them.
I'm excited for season 3 even if it was shorted and the 2 specials are great so I'm happy to see the finale of the owl hous!
I thought that listening to other points of view on the matter could help, so I really need your stances on the matter:
Do you think Lumity will be' destroyed in the finale? Motivate your answer....
I think what she means that she cried because this was the last time she gets to voice Luz.
Hey there friend, straight to the point: Lumity being torn apart the reason Sarah Nicole-Roble apparently broke down hard in what she described as one of the ABSOLUTE hardest moments in her life (deep breath)...is far fetched
But not to rub salt in the wound, while the girls' relationship is very well developed, very wholesome, and EXTREMELY TOO POPULAR to be the breaking moment at the literal end of The Owl House, the stars would be proper aligned to make it so, or in this case, MISALIGNED! Sorry
That's also a stretch, yet without getting into specific examples that I regrettably can't name off the top of my head, I'm almost certain we've had those kind relationship-ending moments throughout media before, and so bad they no doubt left others seriously heartbroken
Bottom line, the breakup of Lumity is something we nor Dana Terrace can confirm or deny at this point in time. All we can do is wait until early April for the general end of a legendary series, before we see as to whether or not we'll be getting the end of a legendary adventure 🥲
Hope that helps pal, stay 🦉
She said that she wouldn't specify if it was of happiness or sadness, but the fact that she mentioned happiness makes me think that it may be because of that.....
I really doubt that lumity will just be discarded in the final episode of the owl house cuz why would Dana and her team work so so hard for lumity to happen (ultimately costing them a proper end to their show) just to ruin it at the last second??
I just really wish that the season was longer. 💜
same
Keep in mind that the entire show trajectory was changed from early Season 2 onward, and the Collector and everything involving him was created for the cut.
I think it's worth noting that it's been several months since the Collector was let out and he has been with King that entire time, that's probably why he is more tame
during the Thanks to Them breakdown i realized something
Luz's play, with the fake guts
when we first saw that, it was during a try out
and Luz got accepted with the same role and act for the actual play?...
I am dissapointed that characters like Gus and Vee dont seem to be getting proper conclusions to their arcs, but thats Disneys fault for being terrible. Objectively when looking at the circumstances this season is close to a 10 out of 10, Dana Terrace and her crew are actual geniuses.
Agreed. Also, I can all three parts combined together as an over two hour feature film.
This mistake will eventually cause Disney to Collapse into dissolution.
@@eaglewolffox6275 That is true. But regardless, I'm at least glad we have these three parts. So we do have something and Dana and the crew were working with what they got.

i think since she's been used to boiling rain for all her life- feeling normal rain once doesn't change her entire view on rain on earth.
Imagine if the final special was a 90 minute movie played at double speed, just as one final f*ck you too Disney.

There is something I realized while watching this belos is the William Afton of the owl house HE WILL NOT DIE
Honestly the owl house is an amazing show, and i'm gonna miss it
If everyone who had a coven seal was going to die on unit day, what did Philip plan to do to the children and people not sealed? Was he going to leave them there knowing they couldn't survive on their own?
People without sigals are wild witches and that's why he petrified wild wiches
I REALLY can NOT wait for the Finale!
Hope so too
I can see the collector just going with what Belos wanted, just to be free.
Me gustan explicaciones a esa escena.
I’m so happy my art was shown in the video thank you roundtable
I feel like Thanks to Them was great, but For the Future was rushed in some parts and dragged in others, but was still otherwise good. What I personally want to see out of Watching and Dreaming is:
The Collector to realize his mistake, and to undo what he has done.
I think it is given the limited time frame they've been forced to work with.
If the show was this good with only 3 episodes, imagine how it would have been with the full 20 episodes.
I am surprised Gus did not see his dad in the crowd, considering how much he misses him.
23:24 finally got one of my art pieces in a Roundtable vid, nice!
Dahlia only survived so Amity could have her parent growth arch. Change my mind
Has anyone noticed that the crown of Luz’s hat looks like the crown sitting upon the titan’s head?
Maybe they're saving the intimidating collector for the final, besides Bill cipher was both threatening and likeable, they could've done that with the collector too!
It'd be interesting if the trappers and grand huntsman returned somewhow.
The finale is probably going to be so crazy and epic 😁
Can’t for Eda and King to finally reunite.

I'd give anything for an Owl House Amphibia Gravity Falls crossover sequel series.
Okay so... I rewrite For the Future mostly out of boredom:
-Everything processes as normal until they encounter King and the Collector is revealed that the Owl House game is about recreating in order every single adventure Luz has during the series. (At that moment they are recreating the Amity rescue mission of "Clouds on the Horizon") but with a couple of more childish twists, using other characters to recreate said episodes (Willow's and Gus's dads are there. Including a normal Odalia and pepper Alador) once they finish the " episode" The Collector mentions how they can't wait for their next game after finishing "The Owl House"
-Should also point out how because of the Collector's influence magic itself has become kinda wacky, so memory scissors are a no go from now.
So no changes for them
-From there, everyone plans for a way to get to the skull and the Collector's palace without relaying to much in general magic.
(Probably including a lazy and depressed Kikimora who doesn't care anymore)
-Luz and Camila visit the palisman forest where they discover that the Bat Queen was turned into a puppet to protect the forest and her babies.
(Gus confess to Hunter about knowing he already knowing he was a grimwalker) (Camila assuring Luz that she will be allowed to visit rhe Demon realm and that she is also a nerd) (A resolution for Willow and Amity regarding the impact Bosha had in their lives)
-From there everyone gathers to prepare to start the plan which consists of making a path through the battlefield which would act as a distraction to allow the main group to slip through.
I was about to say...
It’s my personal head cannon that the collector is nicer in this episode because he is around nicer people, he’s shown to be easy to manipulate so I think belos made him more sinister when he was the only person he was around
*”Off Brand Caleb wittebane”* is just-
You can bet that the Hexide part would have been a mini "filler" arc if we had gotten a full 3rd season, and everyone would have complained about it.
Kikimoras disguise got me tho I was ashamed
I've always thought "Helos" (Hell-ose) was superior to "Bunter"
i think the collector just rolled with the draining spell to be finally free
@@mcthetoonster1415 i hope Luz and Amity still together in the series finale will come that in april 8

@@Rutabega_NG what they did to the Owl House will eventually lead to the company's dissolution or should I say Disnolution.

I love how “Bunter” parallels Bipper from gravity falls
This whole idea that Caleb saw witch hunting as evil, is it something that Dana confirmed at some point? Cause, I don't see how people came to this conclusion other than wanting to hope for the best of the best outcomes. I personally think he was just indifferent about it but went along with it as it helped him in supporting his brother. That his priority was ensuring that he and his brother always had the basics to get by every day.
The idea that Caleb recognize witch hunting for what it was just feels like people injecting modern moral values and ethic into a society and time period when such morals and ethics were so different from today that they might as well be alien.
Honestly they should have given them full hour segments because I think the added like 20 minutes would have given them SO much to add!
If a full season happened it would been perfect
I predict that Amity will become an anti-hero for killing her abusive mom and inventing Blood Magic (similar to waterbending but morbid).
The first special was good. But the second one was just alright..
Amphibia did it's final episodes much better
The way I see it , the ones who were not turned in to puppets are the on es most likely to kiss but and do ANY thing it takes to suck up to whoever is in power . The ones who were toys are the ones most likely to fight back I don't thin k the collector turned people in to toys unprovoked. There are also many people who were not shown in the episode, with there fates unknown I wonder if they are toys or still alive?
@1:56:32 the blue square guy from Billy and Manny looks like SpongeBob 😂
