Loved hearing more about Shane’s family. His Dad writing that poem is really inspirational. He wrote down the intentions for Shane’s life and then they proceeded from that mindset to bring up an amazing human being. Perhaps more of us should do/or have done that sort of thing with each of our children with or without any diagnosis. That was just awesome. Clearly both your parents have done a superb job with both of you. 🤗💖
His father is a keeper, this I know my son never was loved to that extent never did his dad change him or even felt the calling to work to provide housing, clothes shoes stuff boys need but they need love the most.and Shane and Hannah were and are treasured and loved.
Aww, you guys made me fall in love with Shane's parents now. I saw them in the original documentary about Shane too and they really are so inspiring and it's just incredible how their attitudes so obviously made it so that Shane could "laugh at his nightmare" and be the person he is. It's just such strong pure unconditional love and strength. And it really moves me. All children and especially disabled children deserve parents like that and I think that sadly a lot of parents aren't able to deal with their children's disabilities well and there are children out there abused or unsupported as well as dealing with the physical disability. Hopefully everything you are doing with LAMN will help more families to manage and the awareness you're raising will help parents to newly diagnosed children deal better as well. Thank you for sharing your light and about your wonderful parents. ❤️
I love yalls videos. Y'all are an inspiration to me. I've been disabled since the age of 17 I broke my neck in a car wreck. There is love after for everyone y'all are perfect example. Love y'all keep it up. My name is Donovan's from Louisiana.
Shane is such a character. You both are hilarious. Always so amazing. You never seize to Crack me up.i can only imagine what they think about what you said about them. I bet they are full of personality also. Love yall. ❤
This is a fun video! I enjoyed hearing about Shane’s lovely parents. Talking with Shane’s Mom about tea, fresh meals, and nature sounds delightful. I think it is wonderful you are conscientious about your loved ones privacy and don’t use all of your visiting time asking to film them. Personal relationships are so important.
You guys have said before that they don’t want to be in the spotlight. I totally get that! I’m super camera shy and don’t even have social media haha. Loved hearing the stories
Shane it is such a blessing to come from a close and loving family. This is what people need in both happy and sad times. You parents are loving and caring but the way you both talked about your parents showed that this is mutual.
I am the same way. It's not in my comfort level. I love to do photography, but I don't like being on the other side of the lens. Their choice and it's respected.

Yeah, not every UA-camr films their family and/ loved ones. Most of the youtubers I watch only ever feature themselves in their videos. They chose to be content creators not their family members.
I think it’s great that you’re not getting sucked into living your entire life via UA-cam. I enjoy your videos, I originally started watching as my partner is disabled but now I just love your content. Just carry on doing what you’re happy with, not in order to make viewers happy ❤️
I love how Hannah lights up when Shane says he's a ham! You can see she agrees and the love in her eyes and smile looking at him as he speaks. So sweet xoxo
Love, love, love the story about your Dad's poem after getting the diagnosis!! Shane is so blessed and darn lucky to have been born to those 2 amazing parents! And Hannah gets to reap the benefits as well! So 4 fabulous parents raised 2 fabulous UA-camrs who are making an amazing difference in the world! ❤❤❤
You two are incredible. The intro to the video was very funny and I was waiting to see who would lose it first. It is really great that you are sensitive to your family members feelings and wishes in regard to being in videos.
Thanks for the fun and interesting video. I love that you show the same depth of love and respect for your family and friends as you do for each other. You are really among the best of social media influencers, and I hope you are blessed with joy, peace and love always. Thanks again! 😊
You two are the best! Seriously & Shane’s Dad should start his own channel so we can hear his music & jokes! Keep on spreading awareness through humor and positivity!
Love Hannah’s Taylor’s Version shirt!!! Also I’m applying to grad school programs and UMN is at the top of my list, it seems like you two have such a nice life in Minnesota so it always makes me think of you
You all are so lovely and wholesome. Shane's dad just seems like a beautiful, supportive, compassionate human being from watching Shane's original documentary. How lovely to hear about the poem he wrote after getting the diagnosis. This is probably a big part of why Shane is so resilient and also such a beautiful human being.
Shane's parents sound amazing! I respect your parents for not wanting to be on camera. It's hard to be on camera all the time. I have to go on zoom meetings for my job and sometimes I don't want to be on camera.
That was a beautiful, sweet and sentimental video and I really enjoyed seeing all of the photos and getting to know more about Shane's parents, thank you! I think it's awesome that you love family enough to respect that not everyone wants to be in your vlogs and that you clearly define the private part of your lives from the public. Sometimes it can be a very fine line between the two but you have done fantastic about keeping what you don't want to share private for yourselves. I bet your family appreciates it as well. As you said. Not everyone is comfortable being in videos that everyone and their uncle can see.
I remember his parents back when Shane did that first video, telling the world about his condition. His dad was super caring, positive, and really humorous. I think that video was how Hannah found out about Shane. Of course, there are some people here who *probably* think that his entire family is paid actors, and Hannah's family is the same! 😄😄😄
I used to work for the ARC - Advocate for the Rights of Citizens with Disabilities. I drove the dial a ride. I drove my clients to the mall and took them all shopping, but when we came back to the van in the red stripe area for the lift to go down on was blocked with a mini sports car. Everyone, but one was able to still get in the van, but we had someone who was in a wheelchair and could not get in. So what I did is lowered the lift to right above the sports car. It was hovering about one inch from the roof the of the car. Then we searched for the security guy at the mall. Then we waited until the man showed up. He was given a ticket by the police officer and a chewing out. Then I had him go an apologies to my friend in the wheel chair. I still had that heavy heavy lift hoovering on top of his hood of his car. His eyes were so wide and he was so nervous. He was begging me to get the lift out of the way. I hope he learned his lesson.

I always thought that Shane's parents may just not want to be on camera, which is totally understandable! Among your other reasons. Its kinda normal to not like being on camera, or at least I know plenty of people who dont like being on camera etc, same with me. Anyone else think Shane's dad is one handsome guy? (I'm so sorry if thats weird or something 😂)
Yes, honestly, people should think first if they would be comfortable with a camera shoved in their face. Especially if you're at your own home just having a good time and then someone decides to film every moment of it and put it up on the Internet. Hannah and Shane, like many youtubers, have chosen this lifestyle but that doesn't mean that their families and friends also choose this lifestyle. I personally would not be comfortable with someone vlogging me around my house.
@@margretrand8769 I think people just wanted a video of them maybe talking about raising Shane and how was their life changed with his diagnosis. Maybe it will help future parents or caregivers that now deal with someone with some kind of disability. So maybe not vlogging them but just one video of their experience. It would be cool.
It always cracks me up that people are so concerned over Shane’s parents not being on camera. Not sure why people seem to think that if it’s not on UA-cam than it must not exist. You guys don’t show yourselves using the bathroom but we can all assume you do that! 😂

Am I the only that was focused on the Christmas decorations in the background?!! My heart lol. Glad I am not the only one in the spirit of Christmas :)
You always make me laugh. I BELIEVE that your life is real. I found your channel about a year ago but have never left a comment. Keep doing what you do....you are adorable and quirky which makes you all the more lovable!!
Once again, your video leaves me laughing, shaking my heart with a warming feeling in my heart. It would be great to read that poem as well. Keep up the good work.
There's actually a deck of cards out there that you can request for free, that shows why parking incorrectly in or near a handicapped spot isn't ok. You choose the example from the deck of cards for each specific time, and leave it on their windshield. It simply educates people without the confrontation.
Was nice getting to know a bit about Shane's folks who sound very kind and joyful. It gave some insight into shane. It was also great seeing those adorable pics of Shane as a little tyke! What a cutie pie! Thank you for the glimpse into your private family life! You both are so sweet, kind and brave! I admire you both and sincerely enjoy your content. I'm disabled too... I hope to improve my outlook like Shane. You're such an inspiration!💕
I love how you respect your family and friends preferences! You don’t owe anyone an explanation! But it’s so great that you felt able to tell us. I am really happy for you both having lots of great family :)
I saw an earlier video of Shane and his family and friends before he was with Hannah and was mindful that he is very close with parents, brother and friends. All of the mean comments that people post I know that they are just clueless and “could have gone all day without saying that😂” … you two handle it very well! Great video!!! Have a great thanksgiving you two!!!
Your dad is why you are what you are Shane.he made sure to have a positive attitude. This was a great video. Without the parents you had your life could have been much different. Thank God for them every day
I'm so puzzled why anyone would feel the need to leave negative comments. :( That's so strange to me because I enjoy you guys so very much. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.
That was very nice to share more about your parents. They seem like incredibly lovely and positive people....like the kind of people you WANT and NEED in your life. As a parent of a son with severe developmental disabilities my self, our families have difficulties like all families, maybe not the same difficulties, but we also have lots of good times and appreciations that typical families rarely get to experience. In that way we are lucky.
I personally would LUV to hear Shane and his parents sharing EVERYTHING!! Can you do some FaceTime where you guys are visible and your viewers can hear the convo but can only see the back of the laptop? I recall early on, videos of Shane's parents when he was still living at home... They moved me to tears... Dad lifting Shane from bed, carrying him.... and his candid words about his son's genetic disease. I recall feeling that Both of Shane's parents are incredible people... and his brother is phenomenal! It would be lovely to hear about Mom's food and Dad's quick wit, even without seeing them if they are camera shy.... it's only a suggestion..... Liz is such an integral part of the channel and seeing Hannah's parents from time to time feels comforting.... and that's the way it feels to me when Shane's parents are included.... I guess I'm just greedy to feel the presence of Parents and Siblings and Shane's cousin who was a major part of his non-profit, etc. The family dynamic of both sides of your family is extraordinary...EXTRA ORDINARY.... and, yes, Shane's dad was right, Shane DOES HAVE AN AMAZING LIFE..... it is as though Shane's dad prayed it, predicted it, conjured it for his son.... and now it is real!
I always appreciate your videos, especially for your lite commentary reviews on life and your adorable bantering. I truly enjoyed the camero appearances and learning about how Shane’s parents imparted some rare wisdom during his life. You’re a lucky man Shane; you grew up not only with beautiful parents, but now you have a gorgeous wife (just as Hannah has a handsome husband) and you both have magnificent in-laws who love and adore you. What more could two individuals ask for! 💕
You both had me laughing so hard that I had to rewatch the first part of the video. Priceless. Honestly it never crossed my mind, as I remember Shane said he came from Pennsylvania and you both live in Minneapolis area, next door to GB WI. Having traveled alot by bus i know the distances involved. To me Shane is(you are) a living example of his parents, just like I am of mine. My mom was pretty much anti-tech, and my dad was the opposite, but I know both would not have wanted to be on tribe video for their own reasons. So eye roll to those who ask too much. Love the memories you both shared. thank you.
I will never figure out why this couple would get hateful comments. I am stunned that they would even get a thumbs down on a video. I get not liking a video but to feel the need to hit the dislike button? You guys are an amazing couple, this channel is one of my favorite subs. Have a very happy holiday season.
im so glad to see you hannah and shane thanks for sharing this video with me made my day i think i told you my girlfriend that passed away going to be amost 2 years i sure miss her but you guys made my day thank you
I can only imagine how heartbroken Shane's family must be after seeing the documentary that he is so far away but on a second note they must be happy with shane and hanna's quality of life and their work. They both are in good hands and are great adults finding their way through life with a lot of adventures. One thing is for sure, both sets of parents are very proud of them and they are very loved.
They will, Jesus. When there is true LOVE nothing else matters, our soul is what matters, and that is how we find the real love. Have you seen elderly people holding hands? that is how they get there. When beauty and youth are gone, and real love is present.
@@sandracalero5654 thank you so much how wise you are..there is someone longing to be loved or give love to your boys no more Hannah's unfortunately, but some just as special.
So wait, just so we're clear -- Shane is the immaculately conceived son of cannibal vampires who supply Hershey's candy? No wonder Hannah decided to marry him!
We've uncovered the real reason Hannah is with Shane....free Hershey's! 😉 jkjk. Love you guys, absolutely hilarious vampire bit. Your relationship is truly an inspiration
I really hope you are blessed with a family soon. It's so lovely to have them when young and then young enough to have the double blessing of grandchildren too! Love you both.
You had me rolling with laughing that my kids(adult) were trying to figure out what I was laughing at(crying). Figures that you two who come up with the most outrageous tales. Vampires, etc.
We found out our son had achondroplasia dwarfism when he was five months old. On his first birthday, we bought Colin a book about his life having a purpose and we each wrote him a message about how he will have a wonderful life and that we will support him through the tough times. He is seven now. I hope it means a lot to him when he’s your age.
Hanna you are so lucky to have a very close loving husband who thinks the world of you my husband told me to stay in hospital because he was to busy working and would pick me up a few days later he wouldn't notice me if walked around the house naked so enjoying the love you have for each other is priceless
So nice to hear you actually talk about your parents Shane as I knew they lived far from you but just wondered why they never seemed to be a part of your everyday narrative so thank you for sharing them with us - we like that!👍❤️😘
Thanks so much for sharing. I would have never asked myself, I'm not much for prying, and I do feel like people's lives are very private. But what you were willing and happy to share was very interesting. And I thought nothing less of them than being very loving parents because of the videos that we have had the opportunity to see even before you meant Hannah.
Really nice to hear about Shane's parents. I'd assumed (correctly) that they just chose to not be on camera. But it was lovely to hear a bit about them and the affection and respect Shane has for them shows. Very nice.
@@joro241 Well, they have Hannah's mom on a lot and sometimes dad. So I guess it's on a case by case basis but yeah, generally they keep other family out probably mostly for the trolls.
Dear friends. I've been watching since the beginning. This video was so charming and personal. I know when you watch someone you start to feel like you have a personal relationship with them even though you don't. This video is like sitting in the living room with you telling stories. You are a beautiful couple, inside and out. I am sure I am not alone when I say I admire you very much and pray that your life will always be as richly blessed as it is right now. Your friend from North Carolina, Deborah
I love Shane's pictures of him when he was a little boy and my favorite is the one in this video where his dad is holding him when his dad's hair was darker. I can just know that his parents sleep really good at night knowing that Shane is doing great in life and that he is really loved.
You know I thought Bout that also a loving mate respectful like she is such a gift. I hope he told Hannah how he loves and appreciates her for loving his son unconditional..
Hi Hannah and Shane. Thanks for telling us some tidbits about Shane's parents! I did wonder why they are not in many of your videos, but now understand the reason and respect that. Wish you could slide PA. right next to MN. and see them more often!

So sweet. Just love that precious picture of your mom holding you at the beach!!! Your expression of joy is priceless!!
I love that you are protective of your family and friends. That makes the two of you so trustworthy and shows your integrity.
No wonder you are wonderful people; you both have wonderful parents ❤️
Loved hearing about Shane’s parents🥰. They raised a great son.
Love that you both have loving relationships with both set of parents. You two are wonderful. Love watching your videos. Blessings to you both.
I don't know how anyone could think your relationship is fake. The way you two look at each other says it all. SOUL MATES!!!
Shane’s parents: we’ve been dealing with Shane for 20 whatever years… thank gawd he’s independent and finally we can ignore him! Lol!
bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Are you sure you're not Shane? Lol
I love your show. When you see negative comments about good and genuine people, it makes it harder to understand the world.
Your dad is why you are what you are Shane.he made sure to have a positive attitude. This was a great video. Without the parents you had your life could have been much different. Thank God for them every day
Hello ‘..........👋 How are you doing today???????????
Lovely video. I had never realized that we haven't seen much of Shane's mom and dad. I know they are so proud of you .❤❤
I'm so puzzled why anyone would feel the need to leave negative comments. :( That's so strange to me because I enjoy you guys so very much. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.
love the thought of your dads conveyor belt manufacturing company utilizing conveyor belts in order to manufacture said conveyor belts
Hannah I love your sweatshirt! (6:45 left till red!!)
Your parents sound like amazing people with big hearts. Thanks for sharing 👍
This was such a special video! Awesome to get to know your parents!
Can I ask what kind of music your dad likes, Shane? That's so cool that he builds guitars
Oh my goodness, Shane you look JUST like your dad! Really loved hearing more about your background and family, and I thank you for sharing with us!
Just because Shane and Hannah enjoy being on UA-cam, in no way does that means their friends and family do. That shouldn't even need to be explained!
The thought of your dad writing a poem made me cry
You both are awesome. One would assume you come from awesome people. Great video.
im so glad to see you hannah and shane thanks for sharing this video with me made my day i think i told you my girlfriend that passed away going to be amost 2 years i sure miss her but you guys made my day thank you
I can only imagine how heartbroken Shane's family must be after seeing the documentary that he is so far away but on a second note they must be happy with shane and hanna's quality of life and their work. They both are in good hands and are great adults finding their way through life with a lot of adventures. One thing is for sure, both sets of parents are very proud of them and they are very loved.
It was a pleasure "meeting" your family. You are lucky to both belong to loving and embracing families.
AGAIN....One of the Absolute BEST VIDEOS ive ever watched on UA-cam
Love you guys. My twin boys have Asperger's and don't think they will find anyone. Your both such inspiration's. ❤️
They will, Jesus. When there is true LOVE nothing else matters, our soul is what matters, and that is how we find the real love. Have you seen elderly people holding hands? that is how they get there. When beauty and youth are gone, and real love is present.
Oh that makes me sad can you help it along or do you know any single deserving ladies for your boys????
@@sandracalero5654 thank you so much how wise you are..there is someone longing to be loved or give love to your boys no more Hannah's unfortunately, but some just as special.
So wait, just so we're clear -- Shane is the immaculately conceived son of cannibal vampires who supply Hershey's candy? No wonder Hannah decided to marry him!
We've uncovered the real reason Hannah is with Shane....free Hershey's! 😉 jkjk. Love you guys, absolutely hilarious vampire bit. Your relationship is truly an inspiration
I think it's a good 10%~!
Don't give the conspiracy trolls here any ideas! 😅
Hope everyone is doing well & staying safe! ♥︎♡♥︎♡
Thanks for sharing all those heart-warming details and memories. So, they’re vampires. ☺️
You two are both lucky to have great inlaws that support your relationship and dont meddle to much! Not everyone is so blessed to have that.♥️
I really hope you are blessed with a family soon.
You guys are my favorite! I’m newer to your channel and always watch before I go to bed. It simply makes me happy.
Love your connection and sense of humour 🤗🤗
Hello ‘..........👋 How are you doing today???????????
Hanna you are so lucky to have a very close loving husband who thinks the world of you my husband told me to stay in hospital because he was to busy working and would pick me up a few days later he wouldn't notice me if walked around the house naked so enjoying the love you have for each other is priceless
Goodbye, Goodbye🎶 should be your new outro! 🤣 I love it and I love how you compliment each other. ❤
Your dad is an amazing human being, Shane! No wonder you/re amazing, too, as is Hannah. You're all amazing!!! Love your show.
Cannibals won't eat Shane because he has no meat on his bones!!😂😂😂🤭😏 omg you guys are hysterical 🤣 😂 I love this channel
Very nice.
Oh see I was under the impression they didn't want to record them a lot to protect the family (his and hers) against trolls...
@@joro241 Well, they have Hannah's mom on a lot and sometimes dad. So I guess it's on a case by case basis but yeah, generally they keep other family out probably mostly for the trolls.
You both have amazing families ♥️
Dear friends. I've been watching since the beginning. This video was so charming and personal. I know when you watch someone you start to feel like you have a personal relationship with them even though you don't. This video is like sitting in the living room with you telling stories. You are a beautiful couple, inside and out. I am sure I am not alone when I say I admire you very much and pray that your life will always be as richly blessed as it is right now. Your friend from North Carolina, Deborah
I love watching your videos and listen to your podcasts. You can see that there’s so much love in your relationship.
Oh my word, you two crack me up. My parents are vampires....cannibals. Shane, don't ever change!
Your parents seam super lovely and I am super stoked over the note your dad wrote you or poem. Super cool
