Hey Jake! I just finished installing the front brace kit and I learned a better method of getting to the nuts after dropping the passenger side nut several times. You can reach up under the fender and get your hand right to the end of the bolt and put the nut on easily. I have big hands and going through the top was just about impossible. I also put the back plate through first, then left enough room to put the washers in between, then used a pick tool to line the washer up. Just a couple tips for others to make the install easier.
Sounds good. I also had another customer who mentioned he took the back plate and taped a piece of wire to it and he fed it right through. It was also another good idea.
I had trouble keeping the washers in place while manuevering the rear bracket into place. Eventually, I used a magnet to place the washers after getting the rear bracket into position. It was super fast and easy.
My kit took about 20min to install. With my big hands, was surprisingly easy! 71 ftlbs on that upper shock bolt. Will be checking the torque every service. Awesome kit! Hopefully meet up for a ride soon!
@@tahawknv4 But is stock bolts 71 ft/lbs? Aren't these new bolts? Torque depends on the fastener specs. If factory or grade 9 and Jake includes 10.9 then spec might change or are we trying not to squish the upper shock bushing?
@@Bizill75 same grade bolt that the stocks are. The shock bushing is impossible to squish due to the steel spacer. Always use the factory torque specs and check during normal service. Every oil change I go through every suspension bolt.
Awesome stuff! we may have to order some of those reinforcement tabs. We like jumping the KRX and don’t want to oval out/brake the hole. watch our last video! we jumped it and came down hard on the front end 😅
@fullaccessutv are your springs the same quality as shock therapy. I plan on doing spring upgrade when I do my silence rings!! Why wouldn't kawasaki have that in there from the beginning!! I just got my bike I thought I was getting the 2023 but I got the 2024 1000 4 es special edition and what a fun bike to ride . My only complaint is the banging and when you get mud in around your springs it makes a awful squeaking noise!
@@nicksaunders9756 Squeak is normal for mud in between the slider. Ours will only silence when the primary spring hits the stop. Just gotta keep cleaning it out. Same as any other Utv.
While installing this I’m confused as to what it actually does. The brace only attaches by 2 6mm bolts. I don’t think it’ll actually prevent the shocks from ripping out as with the rear.
I installed it too and I think the concept is that there is more material to pull through and it will transfer the stress to the other shock bolt as well. Those rear spacer washers are a pain in the butt, these should have been tacked to the rear plate.
@@fullaccessutv there is one on copart. the left rear shock is broke off. and there is a pic of the shock mount , you can see the oblonging in the hole, and how it broke
I will be installing mine next weekend. Is this more of a problem when running larger tires? I plan on running 33” rockzillas but I am also gonna run limit straps. Is that redundant or will they compliment each other?

@dustin davies I don't think you will need lock tight. The replacement nut is a lock nut. Just added security would be to keep them torqued.

@@tahawknv4 Right on. I'm eventually gonna buy all of Mark's suspension mount upgrades. Like to do things right as well.
@@Bizill75 he is a really cool guy and knows these machines. I have the rear kit ready to be put on when my job calms down to let me.

Excellent kit and quick install following his instructions to the tee.
Thank you @bmillwood6666
Hell ya!!! Keep making stuff like this 🇺🇸
Good stuff. Can’t wait to order.
I added both the upper shock braces and the lower and upper A-arm braces to a 2021 ES model. Everything fit without issue. Thanks for the heads up!
Thank you for the response Russell. I’ve got to get the website updated but it appears there may not be a change but I still have not verified myself.
Just made an order off your site! Thank you !
thanks Nick. You wont regret it!

you might want to look at the rear shck mounts as well, seen where they will break off just like the front
I have not seen this yet. If you have a link to a forum or anything please send it to me.

Found it and more.
Great stuff. Any specs for the torque on the KRX 1000 A-Arm Tabs?
Do you know if the 2023 krx was updated ? Or should I consider this kit
Still the same
Does Kawasaki warranty 35'
No fine print about tire size. Dealerships are your biggest hurtle, but yes.

IMO it’s redundant, but we have lots of people do it
What 34" tire are you running on that machine? Looks good!
34” Obor predator. They are a good tire.
Does the front windshield have air vents and where can I get the windshield wiper kit.
Stock glass windshield and Kawasaki wiper kit
I can’t find them on eBay brother !! How can look them up
