The World In 2050, The Real Future Of Earth (BBC & Nat Geo Documentaries)
Can you imagine our world in 2050? Can you imagine the earth in 2050? Can you imagine people in 2050? Do you want to know the future of earth? By mid-century there will likely be 9 billion people on the planet, consuming ever more resources and leading ever more technologically complex lives. What will our cities be like? How will we eat in the future of Earth? Will global warming trigger catastrophic changes, or will we be able to engineer our way out of the world climate crisis?
In the future world demographic changes will certainly be dramatic. Rockefeller University mathematical biologist Joel Cohen says it's likely that by 2050 the majority of the people in the world will live in urban areas of the earth, and will have a significantly higher average age than people today.
We generally publish: BBC Documentaries HD, History Channel Documentaries, National Geographic and Discovery Channel Documentaries.
👉 Check: lixtle.com/selfsuff It's probably the most practical blueprint to live off the grid and become completely self-sufficient (less than a quarter of an acre for a family of 4).

    SUMMARY OF THIS VIDEO
The video "The World in 2050: The Real Future of Earth" presents a possible scenario for how the world may look in the year 2050. It discusses various trends and predictions related to population growth, urbanization, climate change, technology, and geopolitics.
The video suggests that the world population may reach 9.7 billion by 2050, and that most people will live in urban areas. It also predicts that climate change will continue to be a major challenge, with rising temperatures, sea levels, and natural disasters affecting many parts of the world.
In terms of technology, the video suggests that advances in artificial intelligence, robotics, and biotechnology may transform many aspects of society, including transportation, healthcare, and entertainment. However, it also warns of potential risks and ethical concerns associated with these technologies.
The video also discusses the changing geopolitical landscape, with the rise of China and other emerging economies potentially challenging the dominance of the United States and other Western powers.
Overall, the video presents a vision of a complex and rapidly changing world in 2050, with both opportunities and challenges that will require creative and collaborative solutions

almost, but it won't last long before we reset again. we know it's gonna happen again, just like before, we understand that stone is the only thing that will stand the test of time. just like egyptians, future civilizations will think we weren't as advanced as them, but they'll be cavemen by comparison. until they get reset, too. history has a way of repeating itself.

The worst thing for our environment is a new cash crop, one that can be turned into fuel for automobiles, because of the numbers of trees that will be cut down in order to make way for huge fields of said crop. This is a bad, bad idea.

    • @oregongirl7137
      @oregongirl7137 7 років тому +4

They aren't going to cut down trees for this - THIS IS THE NEW CASH CROP FOR MONSANTO. Look up bio-fuels. Our state government in Oregon is already supplementing this - they are cultivating fast-growing "weeds" and grasses for this. Problem is ethanol is 1/3 less efficient than petroleum products and causes water to accumulate in the engine - causes lots of problems. But good old government will see to it that big phara/chemical/food controlling interests don't lose a dime. They had to do something when all of the lies started being outed against them like the lie about how "relabeling GMO foods will cost the consumer a lot". Funny how products are continually re-labeled "NEW" or "IMPROVED" with no increased costs though. Well, the market won out against them because we "sheeple" consumers started looking for the labels that said "Non-GMO" and stopped buying their poisoned crap so the labels mysteriously got labeled anyway and the food producers like General Foods stopped buying GMO grains for their cereals. So - Monsanto needs a new cash cow. Eventually it will come out that climate change has little to do with us - it is a normal cycle of this planet and many scientists tried to tell the Global Warming King (he invented it, "along with the internet" according to him) & major used car saleman, Al Gore that we were headed for a global cooling period similar to the Ice Age. Of course he fought back against it because he stood to lose too much money. Now since their whole 30 or so years of guessing at what is going on (because the temperature checking was done totally unscientifically and unregulated), the "Global Warming" has been re-defined as "Climate Change", a good indicator that the jury is still out on the controversial subject of how much we directly effect Climate Change. This has been determined strictly by "computer modelling" only - a wholly speculative guess that is not based on much true, accurate data. But hey, blame yourself, blame your parents' generation and keep believing whatever the mainstream media feeds you. And BY THE WAY - Trump (not my first choice) was elected because most of us were tired of the lying career politicians and those of us who saw the damage done to Bill Clinton's (who by the way was IMPEACHED) girlfriends by Hillary knew then what kind of person she is. She fell on her sword over Benghazi in a deal to be put up for pres. Funny how no one remembers what she said about Obama when she ran against him. But hey, "what does it matter"? Well I bet it matters to the families of the men that died. Start judging politicians by their virtues, not the R of D after their name. Grading on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the worst, if Trump was only a 9 when Hellary is a 10, they opted to vote for the 9.

I am not trying to be negative by no means, rather I am trying to look at this realistically.
They said we "will" have flying cars in the 21st century and no longer depending on fossil fuels and petroleum. We got these hybrid cars that are not bad but not what we were promised.
Don't get me wrong flying cars do exist but it's in the experiment phase and has been for years. Problem is the people trying to work on these flying cars can't seem to figure out how to keep it stabilized. They can get it off the ground and float, but not very high.
We as a species of people are a type 0 civilization. We are still in the infancy stage of developing the technology of harnessing our planets energy.
If you are curious about what I'm talking about with then go research " levels/types of civilization" sorry I don't know the proper scientific term.
We might become a type 1 civilization in the next 100 years, however we will never get there while we are still divided by governments, unless we come together as one government.
We have to give up the ideology that one is better then the other based on color, race, social status, gender, ect.

To be purposely naive about the political and power-base control aspect of energy is irresponsible and foolish. Any number of alternative sources of energy are possible, however if they do not serve to fit into and continue the status-quo of geopolitical power they will never see the light of day. It should be painfully obvious that peering into the future with ideological eyes and with a utopia mindset will not make it happen. Plainly, if alternative energy does not reap a profit that lines the pockets of the rich then we will all starve and live in the dark.
