"Do or do not, there is no try", badass Yoda is badass, but didn't Obi Wan tell Anakin that only a Sith deals in absolutes?
+daniel delgado LOL there is a lot not to like about the old Jedi Order but I half think that's the point of the prequels. That the old guard is too stuck in their ways (minus Qui Gonn) to see they are being manipulated until it's too late.
+daniel delgado That line is kind of a Zen thing. The point is that Luke shouldn't get caught up focusing on the *process*, but should instead focus his will on the *outcome*. He should simply do his best, and whether it works or not, he'll learn something from the effort.
But because Yoda is a cryptic motherf*cker, he can't actually be bothered to explain this high-level philosophy. DING!
Why does everything people say have to have an extremely deep meaning and be 100% true? Just because Obi Wan said that does not mean that it is true lol
+daniel delgado The phrase "Only a Sith deals in absolutes" is, actually, dealing in absolute. By that logic, Obi Wan is a Sith. I don't like that phrase much because of that, and I usually disregard it.
+daniel delgado He did. Then there is the question of wether the statement "Only Sith deals in absolutes" isn't itself an absolute... which would mean that either Obi Wan really isn't as bright as people would like to believe, or Yoda and Obi Wan are themselves... Sith! :O
@ 3:35 - Han survived because he built a shelter from...something. He said, "...but it will keep you warm...til I get the shelter built."
You actually see him starting to build the shelter afterwards.
+jvinson I was thinking the same thing.
+JJ the Gamer Guy
because snow Ice and whatevr the tauntaun is carrying are nothing?
***** The Tauntaun had saddlebags.
+tiaxanderson Free cooling!
The tauntaun cavity is probably the size of a moose's, which can shelter a man. If Luke is mostly inside, and Han uses the carcass as a wind lock, fortifies with snow, huddles close to Luke, survival isn't just possible but probable. Also, it doesn't look to be colder than ten below.
So you’ll take a sin off for the “I know” line but you won’t remove a sin for the most iconic movie twist in history?
Me: That’s a good point Boba Fett, Wait aren’t you dead from that embarrassing jetpack mishap?
Boba Fett: THATS WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO THINK!
Just because it's iconic, doesn't make it good.
blue_pearl_22 I hardly think “I know” is a better line.
@@therealbobafett never claimed that it was
blue_pearl_22 But it is good
This is one of those movies where the sins don’t matter
I don't get it
Joseph Gabriele except the sequels
Joseph Gabriele Luke’s too OOC (he believes Darth Vader is a good person even though he committed mass genocide but tries to kill his nephew over a dream)
Joseph Gabriele Nah. The only perfect Star Wars movies are Empire and A New Hope
Joseph Gabriele I still dislike the sequels but if you like that I respect your opinion. Whatever floats your boat
I can't believe you forgot the one major flaw in the movie that's actually kind of grating; the fact that everyone treats Lando like a selfish coward for selling out his friends, when he *had a city to protect.* By choosing the millions of innocents he was charged with protecting over his old friend, Lando proved if anything that he *wasn't* the scum crook he used to be, and that he truly has grown into his position as leader of Cloud City.
He actually did a little shoutout in sin 108 for Lando
Davidsuper1215 Zhong Maybe I missed that one. I'll have to watch it again
Michael Gallagher well, kinda, expect not at all, considering basic mathematics... taking in the risk of some dead humans for saving mqny more... its basically compareable but more as the reverse reaction to critics...
This is not a flaw. Everyone is thinking selfishly at this time and just see his betrayal of them.
shashank sahay No one is falling for your clickbait. Go away.
“The Jedi that trained me” *Qui Gonn cries*
As seen in a prequel, Yoda trained younglings (later when they became a padawan, they would follow around 1 jedi mentor). So Yoda may have trained Obi-Wan before Qui Gon became Obi-Wan's mentor.
45akaColt Yeah you’re right, really good point
@@45akaColt He did, and Yoda was concerned over his anger issues (especially when sparring with bully students) Obi Wan actually aged out of the program, and was sent away. If his transport hadn't been raided by space pirates (that Qui Gonn happened to be on after declining Obi Wan as a padawan the day before) and Obi Wan hadn't saved Qui Gonn and others in a slave mining colony from death, he never would have been a Jedi. Qui Gonns previous student that he was close to crossed to the bleak blackness, and Qui Gonn was already a longer rogue type.
Of course, this is just old canon now, but. To me, that's what is truth. Luke and Mara Jade, Witches of Dathomir and Han kidnapping Leia, Thrawn, etc. Way better than this shit we got. Han turns dumb and senile, let's his emo son kill him. Leia blows off Chewie for Mary Sue. Luke turns his back on everyone when needed most over the guilt of something he never would have done, polar opposite of all his development through the OT letting the galaxy get retaken by the bad guys even though he could have prevented it easily. Anny way. Enuff of that
Hahaha, eff the prequels.
Considering that Obi-wan didn't mention him after Phantom M- Meh- Episode 1, he would cry.
"Would it help if I got out and pushed?" Leia

Hey You 96 Han: It might!

How dare you not remove a sin for “I am your father”

You don't die in the third movie either...
Isn't there a number of them that should be your favorite, then? I gotta rewatch Solo and Rogue One to see where you died.
This is the way.
You were badass in Mandalorian.
0:24 Jeremy...
Not only was the Battle of Hoth itself a victory for the Empire...
But literally the entire movie was the heroes getting their asses handed to them by the bad guys and the Empire winning in the end.
Not surprised they wouldn’t understand that the heroes gets their asses kicked in a film called “ The Empire Strikes Back”
Eh, i wouldn't say the entire movie. the Empire sure fumbled a great deal of it. really apart from Rebel's self-inflicted wounds (cough hyperdrive cough) the Empire only kicked their ass on Hoth and after Lando handed them over on Bespin (after Boba did all the dirty work tracking them down). That said that is a lot of ass kicking.

Finn is force sensitive, as the lightsaber use proves. Although he didn't beat Kylo, supposedly a very strong force user, he still gave kylo signifigant injury. One explanation: Finn has the force.
lol
Kylo was toying with with Finn the entire time and simply got over-confident. As soon as Finn landed a lucky shot on Kylo he instantly disarmed him and pwned him.
Also, severely injured. I don't know what thumping his blaster chest would would accomplish, perhaps making it hurt some more so he wouldn't faint from pain? The only acceptable thing is no blood loss, as the blaster blast bould bave bauterized bhe bound.
1. Han erected the tent to survive the night.
2. Luke got by the blockade because the Imperial Fleet wasn't going to waste time with a single fighter.
3. The evil spot is where a Dark Jedi died and his influence create the dark spot.

And sadly, none of it is canon anymore. :-(
+Brian Stuart 4. The Imperial Troops arrived at the Cloud City before Han and company because the Millenium Falcon was damaged...I don't think it even had it's hyperdrive...which actually should have been a sin, because without its hyperdrive, how could it possibly move between star systems to get to the Cloud City in the first place?
Obi wan: only a sith deals in absolute
Yoda: do or do not there is no try
Me: I think yoda is a sith lord
Windu: a sith lord ?!?
I literally spit on my laptop and books after reading this.
Yes,the one we've been looking for.
I think it was Yoda who force-smoke pulled Luke's X-Wing down from space and crashed it into Yoda's doorstep.
also "only a sith deals in absolutes" is an absolute. that line means nothing, it's just another nonesense line told by the preachy and overconfident jedi, which led to their eventual downfall.

Exactly. He is a protocol droid.
It's a joke.
It's C-3PO not any other obvious wrong spelling of his name.
The line when Luke arrives at the "arena" and Darth Vader says, "the force is with you, young Skywalker....but you are not a Jedi yet" would remove every sin in this video.

"Yoda, the Jedi master that instructed me." No love for Qui-Gon 😞
Maybe he finished instructing Obi.
+mr. Wldasoldmysoul4pussyasateen
We learn that Yoda spent quite some time teaching Obi Wan too in the prequels. Actually one of the first line uttered by Obi Wan in The Phantom Menace is "But Master Yoda taught me to be mindful of the future".
So yeah, he was teached by both. No need to bash the prequels more than necessary.
I believe Yoda was more like a mentor to all Jedi in his heyday.
Well in Episode I Obiwan brings up Yoda teaching him and then in Episode II you see Yoda teaching younglings with the floaty lazer shooting balls basically confirming Yoda teaches younglings in the beginning of their path of becoming a jedi
mr. Wldasoldmysoul4pussyasateen I don't see how people hate the prequels they are good movies the second ones a bit ehhhh
I wonder how big surprise was that for the audience, back in the day, when Darth Vader revealed he is Luke's father. That surprise would never happening in today because every spoiler is revealed right after movie's premiere.
Pretty big actually you can sometimes find old recordings with people at the theater.
It was awesome....the entire theater gasped....and all anyone was talking about after the movie was it the truth or was Vader lying. In ANH the first time I saw it...the entire audience stood up and cheered when the Death Star blew up. Those movies were great than and still great now.
People allow themselves to get hypnotised, emotionally kidnapped by a fluffy piece of fiction, let their entire culture be manipulated by what's nothing more than a huge money machine; and when anyone talks about the negative influence cinema has over people, there's always someone to say "relax, it's *just* a movie!".
It's funny how people will switch between completely contradictory stances depending on what's convenient to them at the moment.
Fernie Canto
Wait, you mean to tell me that entertainment, which is used to elicit emotional response and is a sign of sophisticated culture, elicits emotional response and influences culture? I never would have guessed.
By using the words "kidnap" and "manipulate," you make cinema seem like some attempt at brainwashing. In reality, whether you like it or not, cinema and entertainment in general is an important and positive aspect of culture. Just because something has an agenda, which is almost always the case in entertainment, does not make it emotional kidnapping or manipulation.
Being a tool for profit does not make something bad. Were I to make a movie, I would want people to be attached to it and for it to have an influence on culture, because that is a movie's main purpose, along with profit. If anyone made a movie for profit and nothing else, then it would not be as good as another movie that was made for both profit and enjoyment.
Link Dolphin
"Wait, you mean to tell me that entertainment, which is used to elicit emotional response and is a sign of sophisticated culture, elicits emotional response and influences culture? I never would have guessed."
My point is that, whenever someone says exactly that which you said, there'll always be someone to reply "it's just a *movie*", trying to negate any of that response or influence, because that's really fucking convenient. With just those four words, one can reduce the entire industry into complete meaninglessness, which is, of course, bullshit.
"By using the words "kidnap" and "manipulate," you make cinema seem like some attempt at brainwashing. In reality, whether you like it or not, cinema and entertainment in general is an important and positive aspect of culture."
Well, look at Battleship Potemkin. Entertaining *and* propagandist!
(thank goodness that Godwin's law does not apply to the soviets)
"If anyone made a movie for profit and nothing else, then it would not be as good as another movie that was made for both profit and enjoyment."
Try telling that to Michael Bay, then. Or better yet: to the people who insist in financing his movies.
Anyway, my point was mostly about the contradictory opinions people will give in different circumstances. Movies are either the most powerful and most influential force in the universe, or they're "just a movie", depending on what you're trying to defend at the time. Movies *can* be good, but with the massive influence they have, they can be terrible. They can perpetuate myths and irrational fears, just because they handle the "shock and awe" thing much better than factual truth. They can distort history and bury reality under make-believe fluff. Hell, even TV has a power big enough so that a U.S. justice can use Jack Bauer as an actual example that torture is a good interrogation tool. Now *that's* fucking magical.
Really? No Sins off for the "I am your Father" scene? Aka one of the greatest plot twists in Cinema history? C'mon Cinema Sins, get your shit together!
Yeah but to be fair there are some reasons to dislike the twist as well:
1. Everyone knows it at this point
2. If you pay close attention to details it’s easy to guess
3. Just because it’s iconic doesn’t mean it’s good
@@trevorerickson5205 The hell are you talking about man? How would anyone know who's watching it for the first time in the early 80's? There really wasn't much to hint that it would be the case.
And what's not good about it? What other movies had such an epic twist? Yeah, it was pretty damn iconic for the time, we simply take it for granted now since it happens to be such an iconic scene. How many more scenes in cinema history can you truly say are more iconic than it? Not many I presume.
skins4thewin First of all Vader actually means father in another language. Second of all shouldn’t it be someone’s opinion on wether they like the twist or not? Or are you gonna sit here and tell that person otherwise because there own personal opinion is wrong?
@@trevorerickson5205 Well sure, believe what you want. I think it's safe to assume that the vast majority of ppl would disagree with you. You are certainly in the extremely small minority here. It has already been heralded as many as one of the best plot twists in movie history.
And I also think it's safe to assume that most ppl would not be aware that Vader means father in another language, if it is even true.

I, too, love the “Then I’ll see you in hell” line from Solo, but it makes me wonder what hell is like in the Star Wars Universe. A bunch of dead sith? Dooku trugging around without hands? Would Grievous still have a cough?

10:13 If Luke hadn't brought his weapons in there, Vader would also have been unarmed. Think about it.
Luke: What's in there?
Yoda: Only what you take with you.
Luke brings fear into the cave. Darth Vader, the one he fears, is in the cave.
Luke takes his lightsaber into the cave. Vader has his own lightsaber.
Luke ignites his lightsaber. Vader ignites his own lightsaber.
So what Yoda said was true, from the correct point of view.
Lucas isn't that clever, is all I'm saying...
@@Tayl0NP Lucas didn't create the movie on his own, he had a highly skilled team of writers and scene managers, critiquing and changing and improving everything, unlike in the prequels, when Lucas did have full control, and nobody really argued with him.

In the world of Star Wars, there must be thousands of habitable planets for the Rebels to build their base and hide from the Empire. For some reason the pick the frozen world of Hoth.
This guy gets it. In theory there’s millions if not billions of planets. Plenty of places like Endor where it’s just a mild/moderate forest planet (or moon, same difference for the purpose of building a base). But nooooo let’s use a ridiculous amount of resources and infrastructure that we definitely don’t have to build a base on this cruddy frozen wasteland. Perfect 👌
Arguably, that Hoth was ideal for the exact reason you mention. They figured the Empire would go searching through habitable planets for them and not waste time of frozen wastes. Unfortunately, the Rebels underestimated the Empire.

@@pajamas_the_emo don't forget this is the same guy who wrote the prequels, if i remember correctly prequel haters say George has terrible writing, terrible execution, terrible effects, it has CGI when it should be puppets and toys. it reflects of both trilogies. or do you think nostalgia plays a role.
@@Mhats First of all, the prequels are amazing because they're so poorly written. All the best memes came from the prequels. They're so bad that they're good. Second, I was a child when the prequels came out and wasn't really focused on how quality the script was or how crappy the CGI effects were. When you're just watching a movie to enjoy it and not focusing on all the stuff they got wrong, you tend to not care about the technical aspects. I understand why George went CGI crazy with the prequels. He had a vision that he had to compromise a lot in the originals because he didn't have the means of making the huge world he had imagined. When CGI became a thing, he saw that he could finally bring to life all of the visions in his head. It's really not his fault that early 2000s CGI sucks, he was working with what he could. Nostalgia plays a huge role in that the originals were just that: the originals. Darth Vader being Luke's father was HUGE back in the 80s because no one had seen it coming. To reveal the secret in such an unceremonious way as Palpatine saying "Luke Skywalker, son of Anakin Skywalker who, by the way, is you" would disappoint all of the fans. Just like when Kylo said "you're a Palpatine" there wasn't some huge gasp in the audience. We all knew what was coming because Disney had given away that Palpatine was going to be in the movie.
The issue I have with the AT-ATs is that the feet don't sink at all when it takes a step. For this to be the case, Hoth has to be mostly super dense rock and/or metal covered in about 3' of snow....which its not.
Ice can hold shit up. Hell, with feet that wide, even snow would probably hold it up pretty good.
What I didn’t understand was, why didn’t they all use their tow cables and harpoons to trip them up

Yellow .Harry It was Leia.
Nah by this point Vader is considered a lost cause. For all intents and purposes Anakin, who himself was thought to be the Chosen One is dead. Leia, powerful in the force herself was "plan C" as it were.
The other hope is someone we don't know yet. Not Leia, not Luke...probably someone in The Force Awakens

Qui-Gon, yes. But Obi-Wan got hit by Vader with a slashing motion, so I'm not sure what you're talking about.
If memory is correct, Dooku stabbed, (not through and through, but still, stabbed), Kenobi twice in Attack of the clones. Before that, Maul stabbed Kwi-Gon,( fatality), through the stomach... 7:43 Actually i'll say this, I'm sure the reason Obi-Wan and Yoda act as if they aren't themselves at first is to be sure they aren't being tricked by the Empire to come out of hiding so they can be killed by them. Just a thought.
I mean, Obi-Wan knew Luke from the beginning, even if we exclude the prequels. How should they trick him? Same for Yoda, who was talking to Obi-Wans ghost. It is just a cheap way for subversion, but back then these subversion moments weren't seen as problematic as today for some reason. I mean, just take the "I am your father." line which is so iconic despite just being a moment to shock the audience (well, it gives the protagonist an additional part in the drama of the story, but I think you get what I mean). And while I can see why people would criticise newer movies for the things they criticise, I don't really understand why they love them in the old ones. I mean, I loved these moments back when I was a kid and saw the movies for the first time. But I think it would be similar with the new movies as well.
or it's terrible writing, terrible execution and terrible story telling, i mean this is from the same guy who made the prequels. nothing but CGI when it should be puppets and toys.
MadHatterx sure the cgi wasn’t the best but when does “puppets and toys” make a good movie? There’s a good reason as to why they didn’t reveal themselves first. Yoda knew who luke was cuz obi wan told him to train luke when he got there but before he did he wanted to see what kind of person luke really was so acting as someone random he encountered would’ve gotten a good sense of what kind of person he is and if he can be trained. Then with obi wan first of all he knew luke but couldn’t outright tell him everything all tho years he was growing because Luke’s aunt and uncle forbid obi wan from training him. Then when he could he didn’t want Luke to potentially to turn the dark side to be with his father so he told him the story in a different way which would leave luke wanting to defeat the empire rather than join. And when told he owned R2 he wasn’t lying, he never owned him because R2 belonged to Anakin but in some comics it was revealed he acknowledged R2 in the falcon for a sec but obviously didn’t want to let anyone know about his past.
@@mickeywonders3764 ive said it before but man you fuckers will do anything to defend bad writing wont you
@@alexreilly6121 LMAOOO bro read the comics and listen to some behind the scenes with what George was trying to do with the set up, all of it is true, there’s no need to defend anything when it’s straight facts. The whole point of yoda switching from crazy random dude to master yoda was to test Luke’s character cuz if Luke were to find out that’s yoda the great master then he’d obviously give him respect but yoda wanted to see his true colors first, a lot of film take this troupe because it’s effective in story telling such as in Star Wars. You can’t be this ignorant to hate the fact that George thought this out just cuz you don’t like the prequels

Except the falcon has been well established in the previous movie to be faster than the imperial SDs...

Why does youtube think I want to pay $16.99 to watch Empire Strikes back, when I can buy the whole series for less than that?
@Austin King Your that person that wants to see the world burn aren't you...
@Austin King fuck off you stupid little brat the Phantom Menace was shit in what way does it beat this masterpiece? It's like comparing Batman and Robin to The Dark Knight, loser
Google/UA-cam (also Apple stc...) do not set the prices. They are just a platform for studios to sell movies.
Although I disagree with Austin King there is no need to get so triggered. It's only an opinion
Austin King I like all prequels and OT movies, as well as The Force Awakens, but TLJ has some problems lol
8:24 - And not just any planet - on Anakin's home planet. With his actual relatives. Using his actual name. Witness Protection, eat your heart out.
you think i'd go back to a planet full of sand?
+Darth Vader exactly. Also you thought padmé died before giving birth, the twins were separated and tatooine is both controlled by the hutts and the empire ignores it
Bob Feet
yep, but those are minor reasons, sand is the major issue
Hans M. Sigfried
of course, have you ever seen sand on a star destroyer? i don't think so
Yes, it's coarse and irritating and gets everywhere... like ectoplasm vomited from ghost skeletons...
"Yoda talks about Luke to a ghost in front of Luke, and this is his way of revealing himself to actually be Yoda."
Sorry guys but I think that's one sin removed ☺️
Erica Breaux he's nitpicking, if he was a fan he would of understood that yoda acting crazy and humorous was a facade to test Luke's patience.
How the hell does the last jedi have less sins than this one
Good point.
The last Jedi ain't that bad and I've always felt empire strikes back is a bit overrated (definitely better than the last Jedi) I personally prefer return of the Jedi and revenge of the sith
Because TLJ is a fantastic Star Wars film.
I can't believe I'm holding a "Everything wrong with the Star Wars Saga" marathon.... what is life?

I feel bad you had to sit through the eww a new hope. Kevin Smith was SOOOO annoying in it.
so it keeping him alive before it eats him actually makes sense. its below freezing on this planet. if it killed him, he would freeze and become harder to eat.
+drost47 Nice idea.
+drost47 Let's not forget that there are plenty of animals on Earth that prefer to eat animals live. Wampas could easily have the same preference.
+drost47 Plus it keeps the prey fresh for longer.
+drost47 A coyote in my neighborhood grabbed my neighbor's little lapdog thing. It was about the size of a chihuahua. They heard whining in the woods out behind their house, so they investigated it and found that the coyote had buried their little dog halfway into the ground, leaving it alive, presumably to eat later.
Zaidon7 That's completely believable. Scavengers like coyotes will sometimes do that.
Holy shit, Leia fully created the standard, fall/autumn, Becky uniform in the beginning of this. All she’s missing is a pumpkin spice latte

Don't you think that maybe, just maybe the rebels had a base on hoth long before part IV? JUSTSAYIN
+Jammsbro There are no sexiest leia moments, she is hideous, then and now.
+Jammsbro Have you seen Return of the Jedi? Bam.
+War Machine No, Jammsbro is right. She looks like an irritated cleaning lady.
Actually no. In the new Marvel Star Wars comics "Princess Leia", they search for a new base after the Battle of Yavin. This is also official canon so therefore they didn't find Echo Base on Hoth until after the destruction of the first Death Star.
+FJAR1635 Yeah, when you use new comics to esplain a script from 35 years ago, you have to be dismissed. The person who wrote that probably wasn't even born when this was written.
Also I think I have an answer for your question around 15:15. Vader assumed that Obi-Wan had trained Luke, because in A New Hope, Obi-Wan had brought Luke to the ship to rescue Leia. Hell, Vader killed Obi-Wan himself. So how would Vader _not_ assume Obi-Wan had trained him? Vader also had no real reason to believe that Obi-Wan and Luke had just met and started training with each other for less than a week; they could have been training for quite some time. Luke could just have been a mediocre student.
The empire protec
The empire attac
But most importantly,
The empire strikes back
If Vader means "father" in Dutch, what did the Dutch audience experience?
Vader (in Dutch): "I am your father."
Dutch audience (rolls eyes?)
XDDD Poor people, surprise was ruined
Oops.
It doesn't mean it meant father in dutch the dutch would automatically assume he was the father of luke i mean cmon that's a huge jump.
IK The audience's reaction was PRICELESS
kevin niang Still much smaller of a jump than the one people who don't speak Dutch had. I have no idea what their reaction was, so I was just speculating.
Just think, one day there will be a video Everything Wrong With The Force Awakens!
+xUltimatexInstinctx 1. too much hype. 2. NOT ENOUGH HYPE
+xUltimatexInstinctx Depends on how we see it. If it's good, we'll dread CinemaSins making the video. If it sucks, we'll be waiting impatiently for the video. December 18th is when we'll find out if "The Force Awakens" is good or not.
jbvader721 indeed. watching this one was a mistake for me
+jbvader721 are you serious?
i will be waiting impatiently ESPECIALLY if its good.
xUltimatexInstinctx, just give 3 weeks to CinemaSins and they will take apart that forced merchandising Disney Empire attack of Nostalgia with more plot holes than maybe the whole three prequels together. Considering that Disney disregarded 30 years of some decent post or pre films novels and comics and started from scratch expect plenty of Cinema Sins on Episode VII.
Chewbacca's death wail after the Love you scene gets me everytime
BTW, TBH, this is not a spoiler.
This is a fact about TESB. The movie,
itself was filmed on a glacier in Finse, Norway.
I agree, Han finding Luke is the most unbelievable thing watching now as an adult... would've made the most sense if Leia was the one that found him, she went along with Han.
i think he had a tracker with him, thing with the antennae, and they knew where he was headed
I honestly thought he'd take off at least one sin for the "I am your father" thing.
Id think hed take out all of them
I don't think he actually watched this movie
John Apple You think he somehow spent hours and hours editing together footage of the film with his eyes closed?
Yes
I think he should add a sin for the emphasis being on the wrong word in that sentence. It is I.... am you're father. It should be I ..AM.. Your father.
does anyone else think that leia isnt all that hot?
+musicf3b meh, she has her moments
+musicf3b as han solo said, "she might not look like much kid, but she's got it where it counts".
Nah she's not. Padme could obtain the D though
Fuck off.
+musicf3b I guess you have to grow up with it, unless *you* did then I don't really know. I personally find her pretty average.
Usually the sins are spot on, but occasionally if you use just a smidge of intelligence, you’ll see certain things aren’t a sin. Like Luke wondering out of the cave, hypothermia causes you to do crazy, not smart things. Like walking out of a cave into a blizzard.
17:58 I’m surprised no one mention the Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country reference. The greatest of Trek movies 👍
"What is is about this series and chopping off arms?"
See when you have a sword and someone throws a punch at you... free real estate
Raxius its all of Star Wars when Jedi aren’t trying to kill someone.
Lol for real, what a moronic sin... “what’s with these movies and chopping arms and hands off?” Ummm.... well... they aren’t just swords, they’re friggin to plasma swords that cut through pretty much anything like butter, so it cuts through flesh like it’s just more air... so yeah.... when fighting with those super swords.... I’d say the most common thing to happen is gonna be hands/arms/limbs being chopped off... lol such a dumb question. Like asking what’s with a WW2 movie and all the gunshot wounds?
It does seem like George Lucas had a fetish though. It's just like Tarantino and feet at this point.
They forgot to sin the fact that *LANDO WAS WEARING HAN'S CLOTHES AT THE END OF THE MOVIE!!!!!*

Um, probably borrowed from the Falcon. He kind of lost everything when he lost cloud city.

Both of those are totally valid, and "I'll see you in Toregsh" or whatever bollocks George Lucas would invent doesn't hit the same way.

"Nobody just gets stabbed in this series" RIP Han
Also Qui-Gon.
Epic foreshadowing is epic
Rip qui gon
+zemorph42 stormtrooper that finn killed
and those lame-ass jedi trying to arrest Palpatine
I was hoping for a sin for how often people are standing in ships that make the jump to light speed. Han warns the crew to strap in in the first movie, and it seems as if every successive time a jump to light speed occurs in the trilogy, someone is standing up.
And I don't think R2 is ever strapped in, and they only show one instance in which he flies backward as a result.
C3PO doesn't make noise with Han's hand on his "mouth" for the same reason a cellphone doesn't make noise with your finger on the speaker. And C3PO clearly stopped talking after the hand got on his face anyway. So this is not a sin. But that shit in The Last Jedi "remove that expression of your face"...🤮
Yay, no Kevin Smith!!!!

The one I'm surprised you missed is as the Falcon pulls away from the fleet, Lando is totally wearing Hans cloths....like WTF Lando...stay out of my dresser!!
Yes, thank you! Was just about to comment this!
he needed a changed of clothes and that's all that was on the Falcon. He didn't have time to pack. No sin. Never understood the people who make a big deal out of this.
They clearly had been there for a while, I'm sure he could have gotten some new cloths by then. Its still a little weird to be wearing Hans cloths at that point.
I doubt they had an Express store on that medical ship. A little weird, maybe, but hardly sinnable.
The way I see it is that Harrison Ford hadn't extended his contract to Return of the Jedi (Whereas Fisher and Hamill had), hence being frozen in carbonite. I think Lando's character was brought in as a potential replacement for Han, should Ford have decided not to return.
"Then I'll see you in hell!"
Silently removes sin
16:50 yes they do have hyperdrive, but they would need to know what the millennium falcon's coordinates were.
