now this is why i need to learn animation for 2D and 3D, sound design, and more advanced editing skills. if i was the one who had these skills i would make a new OVA for Initial D. also the legend series connects with final stage's ending because of that GT86 you see at the endings
The sounds are almost perfect, a shame not all the engine sounds are available for you to mix, but with the fd and ae86 plus the extra "emphasis" SFX this intro became better than it was, plus the skidding sounds, sound way better in this version than the original.
I'm glad how much you improved this opening and I would definitely love if they made a remastered version of the game and using your improved version as the intro.

I don't know what kind of confidence you have, but sound designers at game companies are not stupid. I wouldn't say your work is bad, but to me it sounds like the work of a student or amateur trying to show off his or her abilities to the best of their ability. I can understand the intention to emphasize the car's engine sound and skid sound, but it is too rough and disorganized, and the balance between music and SFX is not good, so overall it does not feel like a finished product at all.
