    Welcome to DAY 12 of the Beginners 30 Days of Yoga For Inflexibility series🌿
    This restorative yoga for upper body will help release tension while increasing flexibility.
    If you have poor posture or general back pain this yoga class will surely help improve posture and help your find back pain relief.
    The best part i think about this practice is that it will help you breath more fluidly as it creates that much needed space within the upper back and chest. While breathing more fluidly you are bringing in more oxygen into the body helping to find stress and anxiety relief.
    WHAT YOU NEED:
    3+ Pillows or folded large blankets
    2 blocks or large pillows or large folded blankets
    Inflexibility could be a result of many things, a very common reason would be our lifestyle, from sitting or standing long hours, to even working out. Lack of flexibility is something many of us experience which can often times lead to injury, poor posture, lack of breath intake and pain.

    I’m a software engineer. I’ve been told by physical therapists I’m chronically stuck in flexion in my upper back. Childs pose makes flexion in the upper back worse for people that don’t know how to feel the opening of their chest. I don’t know, I started the practice with dolphin instead of child’s pose. Just a thought for anyone like me

    Day 12 done. Found this quite painful and uncomfortable for my neck, don't know if i was doing something wrong

      It may simply be too intense for you. Never do anything that causes pain. Its normal that some poses wont work for us right in this moment or ever in some cases. I hope next class will resonate more for you ❤️
