- This is a beginners yoga for hip flexibility and leg flexibility routine for inflexible practitioners.
Welcome to DAY 9 of the Beginners 30 Days of Yoga For Inflexibility series🌿
In this yoga class we will work through various hip openers for beginners. These hip opening stretches are great for the beginner yoga practitioner as we utilize props to modify the poses to make them accessible and effective.
This 30 minute yoga routine will help create space and flexibility within the lower body.
Remember to listen to your body, slow and steady wins the race.
WHAT YOU NEED:
3+ Pillows
Optional Block or stacked books
Strap or anything that mimics a strap (belt, sheet, towel, pants, sweater, etc...)

This is such a relaxing gentle practice and so helpful! It's particularly hard for me to keep a straight back with butterfly, let alone lean forward in it though. Any tips would be great?

Thank you so much for this, Bird! Your program is so wonderful for a beginner like me! If I could, I have a question- many times when I am doing rocking movements or simply & gently moving my hips, the movement is very jerky in the muscles. Do you know why this is? Thanks & enjoy a wonderful day!
