@@comm1098 Can you do a video about the GLA arsenal next? I've seen someone comment in one video that said USA units are mostly overspecialised while most GLA units are underspecialised or can do multiple roles.
Great guide! Actually got back into RotR b/c of your vids! I've found that once you remove rockvees w/ pathfinders, USA turns into a faction of specialists with a unit in every class (infantry, vehicle, & air) designed to do something specific very well. They need more coordination between their variety of units to cover one another's weakness, and they can quickly shut down/limit options and take control of games if they coordinate & micro their air field units proficiently.
Yes! Don't get me wrong, I love ZH but when you're USA, you just spam rockvees. RotR requires more detail on your army composition and what your opponent is doing.
Very informative vid for US drones since I'm terrible to use it when I first installed this mod. The way you create given scenarios in every drone tactics is brilliant. Keep it up! Hoping for light artillery in each faction next vid. :))
Nice showcase :) One thing to know however is that drones are very fragile, and have extra weakness against machine guns. So careful micromanaging is advised :)
The USA roster doesn’t necessarily underperform there like the allies in red alert they are as you said very specific in what each unit is meant to do and they have to be very specialized and played in the right way in order to be op
Bit of a shame that none of the ground drones had dialogue similar to the Hunter Killer and Predator Drone (That said, I still love the Hunter Killer's lines)
i like using mules with javelins and enforcers especially on top of cliffs and facing off against russian ai, for the most part they are ignored and they just happily shoot the tanks that pass under the cliff
The best way to show off the US arsenal is to show a Red Alert 3 top ladder match with Vindicators wrecking faces. Then to transition to RotR Raptors (or Widowmakers in 1.87+) wrecking faces.
Instead of armor, it would be nice if drone make cannon and AT missile weapons targeting them fire slower (debuff related to their small profile size). So they don't die to quickly to some heavy weapons.
Man your channel is really making me want to go back to ROTR. It's too bad that I think my game installation is busted or something or maybe it just doesn't work with modern windows...?
Get GenLauncher from ModDB. It's a community-ran mod manager for Zero Hour and it improves the performance greatly. It lets you install a huge amount of mods (ROTR obviously) and its updated regularly.
If those conscripts had Infrared Goggles, them drones would be scrap. Drones in total fill only one specific role, that is to Support and they do it pretty well if micro'ed good enough. And without proper support on their side, they're just another way to waste taxpayer money.
ahhh, another RotR video to watch while procrastinating on an essay. Nice!
Me right now 💀

"I can drive anything"
*refuses to elaborate*
*doesn't drive anything*
While I do still think the USA's vics could still use a minor buff this does show just how scary their drones are.
Their air force is extremely good too. Hunter Killers destroying all your vehicles and Widowmaker's rule the skies.
@@comm1098 I can see that, still I buff both tanks' MG attack, and give the Crusader back it's hover toggle.

Thanks you so much to bring this tutoriel to us. I have the feeling that ROTR is a new game with more mecanics than C&C Vanilla. Keep going !
Really well done video, looking forward to more of your analyses of the RotR factions and strategies!
rotr is for me the best mod ive ever gotten for C&C and thanks for the guide on US drones

Thanks for the tip Maelstrom! I'm super excited the mod's back in development and can't wait for 1.9!
@@comm1098 I hope there will be a video of yours comparing all epic units :)
@@maelstromx103 Definitely!

Bro, you've done a great job! Keep it up.
Another amazing video

Predator is actually a manned drone, so their quotes are coming from a person, HK on the other end, i'd say AI.
@@waltarron Given the VO effect on the predator in ROTR, it's implied that its also AI controlled.
Anvil bot has something to say about that.
@@Muhammad_Nuruddin None of the US ground drones.

US arsenal is already very good. It's just that you need to manage it a bit more. Their Air Force is no joke.
I love the Terror Drones & Termite Drones they can deal Great Ambush better than kazard Army. and add a king Raptor for Air Support Lol
The AT drone is basically the soviet infector drone from Red alert but on hard drugs and steroids since it's more heavily armored
keep it up sir... Salute! =) more videos to come.
Gonna try this out now!
And what about comparing the heroes of all fractions?
amazing video

I've been playing RotR online and yep, their air force is extremely good. Hunter Killer Drone/planes wreck my tanks as Russia.
@@comm1098Until the S-300 appears, after that everything becomes more complicated
Drones with Laser guns would be cool
Great keep it coming

Suggestion: Hero Unit Comparison
Well, in upcoming version 1.9, guardian drone will get huge buff
Venom protocol + Mule drone stack on ECA infantry?
Mules only work on us infantry
Is it possible to do a drone only challenge? I’m quite interested to see one.

How many brave warriors have fallen to make this video??
2:45 look a limpet drone
Also at 16:09 you called AT a terror drone, easy mistake to make

41.7%... That seems weird percentage to get.
