Banging review, Geoff... thanks for this! Will need to save up funds to buy AC6 and Starfield for PC (had to use up my game purchase funds to have my bike fitted with new parts as well as do preventive maintenance on it) -- 2022 was a really fun year due to Elden Ring -- but damn, 2023 is still trampling, with guns blazing. 😍
Bought the game today, played for literally 1 hr and asked for a refund from Steam. I have played most FromSoft games since 2011. I was actually that guy who started with DS1 and had a UA-cam guide with me on his 1st playthrough. And what pulled me in was the lore and mechanics of the game. Every 1st boss of Fromsoft games since 2011 were made with the intention of teaching built-up mechanics and getting the player ready to traverse the environment from then on with a mindset and playstyle. This Armored Core game broke with any resemblance of guide or mechanics, particularly on the 1st boss. The game caused such a level of frustration that I hadn't felt for such a long time I just felt disappointed in Fromsoft. Maybe it would have gotten better afterwards, but no that was it from me. Up until the 1st boss it was all dandy with its systems and the basics of it. Then your first boss materializes and the bullshit level intensified. All Fromsoft 1st bosses were hard, but they taught you something. This boss was flying out-of-bounds of the map, damaging you without you being able to reach them even with the boost. And this happened repeatedly. Another gimmick introduced was the boss flying so high that you couldn't reach it with your boost and perform the melee mechanic for a stagger that the game wanted you to use desperately. Didn't help that the hint screen would suggest for you to perform dashes in the air, something I was already doing. But apparently never crossed their mind that not only didn't the boost last for long but the dash would significantly drain it every time. So dying 10 times and realizing that it wasn't skill or mechanics that helped you defeat the boss but a complete bullshit system that was random and depended on blind luck. I just said, no, I'm not doing this for hours. This frustration that came from complete made up systems that were supposed to bullshit you down, I cannot tolerate for the rest of the game. I will wait for the Elden Ring DLC and actually enjoy a game with its difficult mechanics. I suggest Fromsoft introduces a patch for this 1st boss the player encounters, as I'm sure I won't be the only long time fan that will be alieanated from this game. The first boss teaches a player how much fun they will have throughout the rest of the game. If you purposely add bullshit and non-comprehensable mechanics that will stop most people, and even me, a veteran of Fromsoft games, you won't have much following. It actually makes sense why they didn't show this game before and why it was released before the Elden Ring DLC. They wanted the brand recognition to sell the game and not it's gameplay. Sure some people will buy it and enjoy it, but it won't have the impact previous Fromsoft games had. I'm disappointed with Fromsoft with this IP.
@@yrazu05 all of your problems could have been solved very easily. Boss flying too high? Move to the ground. Flying out of bounds? Move to the middle. You don’t even need to use the melee to build up stagger, I just used it for damage. I found the game vastly more enjoyable than Elden Ring- it’s a shame you didn’t get to see its potential.

That right there disqualified you from posting criticism on the mechanics of the game and the importance of 1st bosses in FromSoft games. If you enjoyed it though good for you and have fun. Ah you did indeed answer my question. Thirteen hours is a solid runtime especially with variable builds and multiple outcomes/endings. I can see this being highly replayable for equipment alone but I LOVE that there is ng+ only content. Few things in gaming are as satisfying as finding "hidden" content postgame
@@Veldazandteatoday we're used to every game insisting on being 60 hour open world things. But some games are much tighter and focus on replay value or simply don't have an open world. In this case, one playthrough is only part of the story. I would guess you'd need to do at least six 13 hour playthroughs to get the entire story
@@sicdedworm09 On my first Dark Soul game (DS3) it took me dozens of attempts to beat the first boss and like 15 hours to learn all the routes and figure out how beat the enemies in the first few areas. I was planning to buy this game but was still a bit hesitant. Now however I am completely convinced. Thank you for this thorough review Geoff. I haven't played anything like this. I think the closest is Doom Eternal and oh boy that is also unbelievably intense on ultra violence or higher difficulty.
The game is hard and if u struggle u do not think about it as a souls game just try to analyze the boss and try to figure out what kind of build needed and no shame in it to look it up on the internet what u need.
@@fseiba6718I've defeated the Juggernaut boss yesterday. It's wasn't easy at first it took me about 6 tries but I realized I wasn't flying upwards enough at first. After that it was much more manageable. Is it true that some bosses are only in NG+?

You know it's going to be a good day when you log in and see a new @SmoughTown video. Awesome review man! Good to hear how a newbie to the series enjoys the vast hellscape of Armored Core!!!
It really feels as if this point in the year baulders gate 3 and armor core 6 have the best chance to get game of the year. Like don't get me wrong. Tears of the kingdom is a fantastic game but I feel like these two we're able to push themselves to the crem of the crop. Obviously there's still time in the year to see what else shakes out, but as of right now if I had to put money on a game of the year I would confidently put it for one of these two
I adore Armored Core but let’s be real, Baldurs Gate and likely Starfield are going to be the top contenders for GOTY with TOTK a close runner-up. The huge epic in scope games just tend to win more awards than a focused experience like AC.
@@JustinZode nah Starfield isn't GOTY material but they do have a chance tho, considering that Bethesda is really popular and sometimes GOTY award gives its nominations to popular games. That said, Baldurs Gate 3, TOTK, Armored Core 6 and RE4 Remake will probably make up the bulk of nominations
this is the only review i care about so glad to here it’s good i hope people give it a try never played an ac game before but trust fromsoftware more than any other game developer
What I'm hearing from many sources is that it's pretty short and it's so fast paced that there isn't any time to soak it in, really explore the universe, or ways to dive into the lore via pick up item descriptions.
Because you have to know that the way "lore" is presented isnt through the stuff you literally "pick up" like the Dark Souls way presentation. Even though they are more or less the same in this regard due to AC coming first. The logs you find add to the flavor text thats happening through the game. The briefings add the chunk of whats happening not paying attention to that will make you miss what the heck is going on especially since the briefings are "videos" that thankfully you can replay. But in AC6 there are 2 major players Balam and Arquebus and their subsidiaries Dafeng and Schneider respectively and 1 small player the Rubicon Liberation Front backed by noone but a standing for "Grunder" inc which is BAWS who in true "Belkan" fashion supports no one except who has the cash to buy their goods... who is basically everyone
I do agree if AC has one weakness it's not always feeling like you're in a 65ft tall machine. MechWarrior is the only series, I can think of, to have a palpable sense of scale.
Thing is ACs are barely 65ft in height.... the max height they have is 11 meters (30+ feet) and as small as 5 meters (15+ feet) so even then the sense of scale is way off
It doesn't always convey it well, but it does it in a way that's not distracting - I keep looking at scenery I recognize and getting hit HARD with the scale.
I really love this game because I always wanted an action packed fully customizable mech game ever since I was little and I’d download free games that I’m now sure were just ripoffs of armored cores arena modes but I only heard about this franchise now and man it’s everything I was missing and more. One of the most exhilarating games I’ve ever played. I can’t wait to get all the endings.
Im on chapter 4 of my NG++ run. This is absolutely my favorite game this year. Ive waited so long for AC's return. Honestly one of my favorite gaming franchises of all time.
This game is absolutely wonderful. The ultimate mech fantasy. Loved the story and the setting, not sure why so many people say there isn't any story or that is dismissible, it's quite the opposite.
I’m spending my entire day watching all of the AC6 content I can possibly consume while waiting for launch. You’re just trying to make me fall in love with you, aren’t you? Admit it
maybe I'm just fundamentally not getting something but it seems like it's impossible to avoid damage entirely, the entire mission you'll be taking chip damage, and in boss fights you're constantly taking chip damage. and with this being a mech game, obviously the enemies are going to have missiles... which go about as fast as you'd expect and deal lots of damage without a lot of time to react to it. and this game makes it necessary to be off the ground and flying in the air as much as possible, which uses energy (stamina), but dodging also uses energy, so while I'm dodging to avoid the chip damage of the gatling guns, i run out of energy for the missiles. also loading times are legit near a minute long each
Im on my 3rd playtrough yet. Its the first FromSoft game i finished. Its very engaging and worth what ever it costs rn. If youre a boy/man who likes some guns and mechs and cool shit, this is for you sir
Another banger from the best game studio of all time. Its weird, i remember spending days to beat Artorias back in the day. But the attack helicopter and Balteus i beat in 3 tries or less. While some people have the opposite experience. Its interesting to me how differently our brains are wired sometimes.
I just recently finished my third playthrough, and love the game. The way the game plays out makes it feel really short, but it actually has more missions than AC3. Here's a short breakdown of number of missions per title (not all titles included, just some off the top) AC1: 47 AC2: 50 AC2AA: 103 AC3: 49 AC Silent Line: 34 AC Last Raven: 70+ AC5: 93 AC Verdict Day: 60 AC6: 59 So it falls in as about average length for an AC game. It also really felt like to me there were fewer AC parts, but evidently that's not so true either. Another smaller breakdown. AC1: 138 AC2: 202 AC2AA: 228 AC3: 231 AC Silent Line: 429 AC Last Raven: ? AC4: ? AC5: 345 AC Verdict Day: ? AC6: 306 So barring the missing numbers (google didn't spit out a quick answer, I'm not interested in deep diving and counting individual parts personally), while AC6 does have less parts than it's a couple more recent titles, it still lands in the more upper average of number of parts. Somehow it still feels like less parts, perhaps it's due to the coaxial weapons being (in my opinion) kind of lazy kitbashed designs. I still would have liked more variation in parameters in legs, as a reverse joint primary user, you get 3 choices and just kind of work with what you've got. Tetrapods even worse at just 2. Another thing I'm missing is actual real variation in FCS parts. FCS have values for missile lock, and have values for assist at close, medium, and long ranges; but it never feels really significant from part to part. You're never going to get a longer lock range or wider lock acquisition like with the previous FCS system, which all throughout felt really limiting in how I could play at range. That's mainly due to design though, as they really wanted to focus on and encourage closer engagements. Despite those small things, I'm still really satisfied with the game. There is the question of multiplayer, which is kind of it's own can of worms, but if we're looking at an Armored Core revival then perhaps I have a little hope reserved for multiplayer becoming a better feature in a future title. It kind of sucks coming from Verdict Day and having 4v4 + operator battles, base building territory wars gameplay to just having at best a kind of broken 3v3 stock kills mode. But they were very clear that they wanted to focus on the single player experience, which is what we got.
I need tips on Balteus! I've been using a mid weight biped with plasma rifle and bubble gun, and can reliably get to phase 2 but I'm so wrecked by the time I get there I can't beat it, those flaming swords strikes are so hard to dodge! I've been experimenting with a reverse-jointed super-agile build that might work but so far no luck. edit: the agile build paid off!
First i was like, I'll buy it since this is probably the closest to zoids game on ps5, now knowing is actually a good game i know ill be there playing it for awhile.
I finally picked this game up this week, and my God, it's amazing. I love FromSoft, and only ever played a little of AC3 back on PS2. This game feels so smooth and modern. I'm currently stuck on Juggernaut, but I love the options available to tackle challenges!
FromSoft, can you please upgrade the graphics. Imagine the gameplay looks like the cutscenes? The colors of the levels that you spend so much time is beyond muted. Its Fires of Rubicon not Ice of Winterhaven 😂 why is everything so brown and grey?
As for how the game runs on PC, I'm about 15 hours in, and am playing at a solid 120fps with all settings maxed out, running the game at 1080 on an RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 5600X with 32GB RAM. Framerates are rock solid, and I've only encountered 2 crashes, both during loading screens, and neither corrupting my save file. All in all, it certainly launched MUCH better than Elden Ring on PC.
Never got into the older games but I wanted to support FromSoft so I bought it. Friday I hated it. Saturday I liked it. Sunday I loved it and can’t wait to get home from work and get back in. Still have to make time I’m the evening to continue Blasphemous 2.
Man the game as the stage progressing leaving the strong impression for me from the all aspect. This is My first AC and I have really good memories as an AC pilot. If fromsoft creating new IP, I wish it going to be as good as souls game and AC. Please smaugh if you have any detail to explain on the story related, I really wish to hear that from you
I'm starting my 3rd at 40 hours. The gameplay and story are👌🏽. It works fantastic on PC. 7900xtx stays at 120fps 1440p most of the time. My laptop with a 6800s stays at 60/1440p locked but can go to 80fps if the game is set to 90fps.
Not to appear ungrateful or anything, I was just wondering if you're going to have any videos on Blasphemous 2. Are you enjoying your time with the game?
One mod or update I hope to see is something like a electronic warfare set for a pacifist run. Something that lets player disable / harvest parts [like ammo] out of enemy units. Or something that lest us pull the type of pacifist BS you might expect to see from Kira Yamato of Gundm seed I am also waiting for the legendary AC grip challenge run~ >..
I just wish the mission structure with all the checkpoints being resuply stations that worked like bonfires. Because in some big missions i got to the checkpoint with 5% ammo so i restart from the checkpoint.
only thing I'm worried about it how short is this game? shit just came out and all the content creators are like talking about their 29th playthrough already. i know you get early release codes but those went out like what, a week ago?
20 hours per loop lesser on succeeding loops if you are much more prepared than before. Also considering if you just didnt do mission and spent the time in the garage just pimping out your AC would make the 20 hour loop way way longer
Honestly the story for armored core 6 gets insane. Like it goes from let's get that mcguffin to let's crash the city of Manhattan into that fuel pump the size of a montana.😂
How could this world have massive structures? They have elevators the size of multiple foot ball fields, walls several kilometers high and island sized man made land masses that cover the sky.
Now that you’ve played it, fancy doing any lore videos? I found the narrative to be very compelling with subtle details that add to the world building in interesting ways. For example there are some logs that suggest Coral wasn’t originally *spoilers* sentient.
@@SmoughTownI meant how hard is the game? I’m not sure what to play as I’ve played Elden ring 3.5 times, last of us part 1, red dead 2, god of war Ragnarok. Tried demons souls but too hard for me.
First playthrough is basically "ARRRRGH" halfway through when things get difficult. New game+ is "Ohhhhh" when getting the hang of it. The third playthrough is basically "I got this". Some of the bosses are challenging to the point it can be like fighting Dark Souls bosses at times. Which is fitting. By the time you master the game it's easy enough. Mostly because of how easy it can be to stagger the enemy.
I just lesson to the voice inside my head and she has lead me to some rather conflickting feeling. Oh hello all mind...wait I feel like I've heard this before?
this is a good game, but don't expect it to be Elden ring or Dark souls in term of how long it can be and how rich the content will be, but it is a good game and I love it, unlikely to be a GOTY after Baldur's gate 3, but definitely deserve a try, it is addicting.
The biggest problem with AC 6 is how the augmented human generations are numbered. Why is 1st gen the newest and 4th gen the oldest??? That means that if a new way of augmenting humans is created the oldest generation becomes 5th gen. It makes way more sense to have the oldest be 1st gen.
@@thorinhannahs4614 that’s how it should be but if you play armored core 6 your handler explicitly says you’re 4th gen and calls it an old generation. Then he later introduces someone as a newer generation augmented human and calls them 1st gen.
@@doktorbone I don't know how you managed to twist the information the game provided into that. When the first gen is introduced nothing that is said makes him the newest. There is plenty of arena info that tells you that the higher the gen number the newer they are. Sulla the gen one is the oldest while someone like Pater is newest.
@@thorinhannahs4614 I haven’t actually read all the arena logs so maybe you’re right and I’m misunderstanding or misremembering something but I could’ve sworn Walter says Sulla is a newer gen then the player

I see a hidden pun. On fire, Fires of Rubicon? Don’t think you meant it. But I found it
You are on fire this week 🤩🔥 Thanx 4 the review
My pleasure my friend, hope you enjoy
hell yeah! thank you SmoughTown!
My pleasure bud!
Ah you did indeed answer my question. Thirteen hours is a solid runtime especially with variable builds and multiple outcomes/endings. I can see this being highly replayable for equipment alone but I LOVE that there is ng+ only content. Few things in gaming are as satisfying as finding "hidden" content postgame
exactly - I felt it was absolutely perfect
Only thirteen?
@@Veldazandteatoday we're used to every game insisting on being 60 hour open world things. But some games are much tighter and focus on replay value or simply don't have an open world. In this case, one playthrough is only part of the story. I would guess you'd need to do at least six 13 hour playthroughs to get the entire story
First armored core game. I’m 8 hours in and only at the end of chapter 1. I spend a lot of time messing with builds though and a little afk.
@@sicdedworm09 On my first Dark Soul game (DS3) it took me dozens of attempts to beat the first boss and like 15 hours to learn all the routes and figure out how beat the enemies in the first few areas. In Elden Ring, I was beating the first area Rune boss and progressing into the broader region in a few hours. I love how tough fromsoft is on you at the start of a game, then you realise that it's out of love so you're prepared for the rest of the game
You are one of the people who's review I wanted to see before making my final desicion on buying the game. Judging from the intro it seems I will be getting it.
Thanks - I really appreciate that, yeh I genuinely love this game. Was just doing back to back playthroughs
@@SmoughTownhave you figured out any infinite flight builds? That's definitely the first thing i'm gonna go for in my first run.
Thanks for getting the game @svahn1, I hope enjoy the game and welcome to the Raven's Nest and AC Community, you are a Raven now. You are one of us :)

@@IntrusiveThot420 Edit: hi there fellow Raven! Welcome back~ To answer your question this is where you get to customize your AC or Armored Core. I am not sure if they still have it in the consistent title but what you are going for in longer boosts and long flight depends on your build in the following:
Right Generator, right Core and right Boosters which you need to discover In-Game

@@IntrusiveThot420if you want specifics Perhaps they might have an equivalent for an Over Boost, or hyper booster. Or PEGASUS...
What honestly sold the game for me was the intense face paced combat from the trailers I've seen. Was worried because it being my first AC game itd be overwhelming but this review helped!!
I am really bad at fast pace games and I loved it !
@@SmoughTown that's fair! Was also glad to hear there wasn't a difficulty modifier. Was worried sense it's a different genre of games and gameplay.
Welcome aboard and welcome to the Armored Core community, you will be known as "Raven". :) You're a Raven like us Ravens. You're one of us now. I hope you get to enjoy the game
I'm so happy you are getting the game! ~ sincerely yours, a long-time Raven
"this game is tremendous" thats all i want to hear
All that needs to be said...I just say it for 30 mins hahah
I was planning to buy this game but was still a bit hesitant. Now however I am completely convinced. Thank you for this thorough review Geoff. I haven't played anything like this. I think the closest is Doom Eternal and oh boy that is also unbelievably intense on ultra violence or higher difficulty.
My pleasure my friend, really glad you enjoyed my take on it! Enjoy the game
@@valentinvas6454 There is juggernout who can be easily killed by the horizontal missles that hit him in the sides but you have to unlock it via one of the tutorials so it becomes easy.
The chapter 1 end boss is one of the hardest but u just need to build the lightest ac as possible so u can dodge with ease any missile it throws at you and the flame blades at phase 2 can be counterd with the reverse joint legs that can jump high and most importantly u need 2 pulse gun and hit him at close to get of his shields and than use your laser canons to destroy it.
All the bosses are easy onece you know what build u need for them.
And for sea spider and other big bosses that loves junping at you you need a quadro leg to fly and just shoot him lol- you dont even need to dodge lol.
I dont have experience with new game + yet.
I'm going in as blind as possible, but just wanted to show up and drop a like for support. 6 hours to go!
Thank you brother. Completely free, you're gonna love it!
That's the spirit! You are a certified Raven. :)
You know it's going to be a good day when you log in and see a new @SmoughTown video. Awesome review man! Good to hear how a newbie to the series enjoys the vast hellscape of Armored Core!!!
Cheers my friend - really pleased you enjoyed it, and I am absolutely in love with the game!
Great vid as always and I can’t wait one of the only games I had no problem preordering
Fromsoft is the only company Ive preordered for, starting with bloodborne and every games since, and my lord am I never let down 😂
This will be so dope.
Cant wait man…. Cant wait
The playthrough of all time!
Awesome review
@@JustinZode Genuine question, why do you think Starfield will be good?
@@JustinZode nah Starfield isn't GOTY material but they do have a chance tho, considering that Bethesda is really popular and sometimes GOTY award gives its nominations to popular games. That said, Baldurs Gate 3, TOTK, Armored Core 6 and RE4 Remake will probably make up the bulk of nominations
Great review! I already bought the game but after watching this I might have to buy another copy
Excellent 👍
this is the only review i care about so glad to here it’s good i hope people give it a try never played an ac game before but trust fromsoftware more than any other game developer
Thanks so much bud - really appreciate that
AC lore is grimdark storytelling at its finest.
I am so excited for this game, still have a few hours before it is released here though
What I'm hearing from many sources is that it's pretty short and it's so fast paced that there isn't any time to soak it in, really explore the universe, or ways to dive into the lore via pick up item descriptions.
I would disagree, I felt very immersed
Yeah that is an issue.
But ACs are significantly smaller tho
Man i havent play armored core sins the ps1 when i was a kid
Best review ive seen
Most complete game in awhile. I'm thoroughly enjoying my time and learning everything.
Im on chapter 4 of my NG++ run. This is absolutely my favorite game this year. Ive waited so long for AC's return. Honestly one of my favorite gaming franchises of all time.
🎉 my dude playing ng4
I'm doing all 3 endings fell in love with this game got it half price and wasn't disappointed.
This game is absolutely wonderful. The ultimate mech fantasy. Loved the story and the setting, not sure why so many people say there isn't any story or that is dismissible, it's quite the opposite.
I hope FROM keeps putting out very special games between their mainline-souls games, like they did with Bloodborne, Sekiro and apparently AC6
Is there any limit to the number of AC builds you can save?
Not that I can see!
I’m spending my entire day watching all of the AC6 content I can possibly consume while waiting for launch. You’re just trying to make me fall in love with you, aren’t you? Admit it
100%... is it working?
@@SmoughTown let’s just say I have my bags packed and my passport ready!
maybe I'm just fundamentally not getting something but it seems like it's impossible to avoid damage entirely, the entire mission you'll be taking chip damage, and in boss fights you're constantly taking chip damage. and with this being a mech game, obviously the enemies are going to have missiles... which go about as fast as you'd expect and deal lots of damage without a lot of time to react to it. and this game makes it necessary to be off the ground and flying in the air as much as possible, which uses energy (stamina), but dodging also uses energy, so while I'm dodging to avoid the chip damage of the gatling guns, i run out of energy for the missiles. also loading times are legit near a minute long each
Im on my 3rd playtrough yet. Its the first FromSoft game i finished. Its very engaging and worth what ever it costs rn. If youre a boy/man who likes some guns and mechs and cool shit, this is for you sir
"Armored core sex" I can't unhear it
hahaha!
Same lol
Another banger from the best game studio of all time. Its weird, i remember spending days to beat Artorias back in the day. But the attack helicopter and Balteus i beat in 3 tries or less. While some people have the opposite experience. Its interesting to me how differently our brains are wired sometimes.
Nice.
Thank you! Cheers!
I just recently finished my third playthrough, and love the game. The way the game plays out makes it feel really short, but it actually has more missions than AC3. Here's a short breakdown of number of missions per title (not all titles included, just some off the top)
AC1: 47
AC2: 50
AC2AA: 103
AC3: 49
AC Silent Line: 34
AC Last Raven: 70+
AC5: 93
AC Verdict Day: 60
AC6: 59
So it falls in as about average length for an AC game.
It also really felt like to me there were fewer AC parts, but evidently that's not so true either. Another smaller breakdown.
AC1: 138
AC2: 202
AC2AA: 228
AC3: 231
AC Silent Line: 429
AC Last Raven: ?
AC4: ?
AC5: 345
AC Verdict Day: ?
AC6: 306
So barring the missing numbers (google didn't spit out a quick answer, I'm not interested in deep diving and counting individual parts personally), while AC6 does have less parts than it's a couple more recent titles, it still lands in the more upper average of number of parts.
Bro how do you do 4 playthroughs of a game that came out 2 days ago? I just finished the 2nd Chapter, and I am fully unemployed.
He said he got an early access
I need tips on Balteus! I've been using a mid weight biped with plasma rifle and bubble gun, and can reliably get to phase 2 but I'm so wrecked by the time I get there I can't beat it, those flaming swords strikes are so hard to dodge!
I've been experimenting with a reverse-jointed super-agile build that might work but so far no luck.
edit: the agile build paid off!
Go high to get over the flame blades and song birds are pretty good a dropping the shield
The key is to stay aggressive and close
@@someone-pz4dg pretty much every boss in a nutshell
First i was like, I'll buy it since this is probably the closest to zoids game on ps5, now knowing is actually a good game i know ill be there playing it for awhile.
Bro said Zoids yea we need that asap
I finally picked this game up this week, and my God, it's amazing. I love FromSoft, and only ever played a little of AC3 back on PS2. This game feels so smooth and modern. I'm currently stuck on Juggernaut, but I love the options available to tackle challenges!
I HAVE TO KNOW. and I highly doubt it is for this type of game but.... Moonlight greatsword make its way in some shape or form?
I couldnt possibly comment
It's been in the series since AC1....
You'll find out
Twice. One is found under the bridge (you'll know it when you see it). The other is a reward after new game+ missions which is more powerful.
In AC there are 2 reoccuring weapons Karasawa Laser Rifle, and of course the From Soft staple without these 2 its not a full "AC game"
Quick question, is patches in there 👀
If he is I havent seen him!
Im on my second playthrough and ive never played a game that made me wanna play it again immediately lol i love this game so much
smoughtown?
more like smechtown...
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
FromSoft, can you please upgrade the graphics. Imagine the gameplay looks like the cutscenes? The colors of the levels that you spend so much time is beyond muted. Its Fires of Rubicon not Ice of Winterhaven 😂 why is everything so brown and grey?
As for PC performance my RTX 4070 gives me 1440p120 on max settings so I can assume it’s well optimized for even lower end GPUs
How many hours have you clocked in?
Just under 50. First playthrough about 12 hours, then each subsequent one was sub 10
@@SmoughTownis this by counting all side missions and extra stuffs or just main stuffs?
@@chrono_s9699 So I did 'most' content - aside from getting S ranks in each mission and getting every log
Its preloaded on my PS5. Just gotta wait till tonight to start it up.
Hope you have a great time bud
As for how the game runs on PC, I'm about 15 hours in, and am playing at a solid 120fps with all settings maxed out, running the game at 1080 on an RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 5600X with 32GB RAM.
Framerates are rock solid, and I've only encountered 2 crashes, both during loading screens, and neither corrupting my save file. All in all, it certainly launched MUCH better than Elden Ring on PC.
It rips!!!
Smough? Are you scottish? And do you play ps5 i get ac6 tomorrow
I am! And yeh I was on PS5 - performance was excellent
@SmoughTown I'm glasgow you ? I have to wait until tomorrow I'm on ps5 if you are hiting up online modes give me a shout
I just want to now how well it run on PC, or if it melt CPUs.
Sorry I cant help there bud. I spoke to Lore Hunter and he said it ran well on his 3080
From wat I know from reddit, it ran the same as elden ring
Runs well on a 1060TI. My comp is a decade old but built to last.
Almost done with my second playthrough on my series S. Have experienced zero frame drops.
But... Do we light the furnace of the first fire?
i already have 15 hours in, i barely had my first crash on my PC between loading screens this morning. pretty impressive ngl.
Is it out yet ?
In certain parts of the world, not US
@SmoughTown oh word, iv been waiting hahaha 😆
Please where can we share AC designs?
Not to appear ungrateful or anything, I was just wondering if you're going to have any videos on Blasphemous 2. Are you enjoying your time with the game?
Never played but im buying today for sure 🎉
As a soul player men I’m tempted to buy this but idk yet
Same boat my guy lol
The multi lock will lock onto anything in range and has nothing to do with “painting” with the reticle fyi
Because in some big missions i got to the checkpoint with 5% ammo so i restart from the checkpoint.
awesome, i got the game on launch and i'm ready to get sucked in
only thing I'm worried about it how short is this game? shit just came out and all the content creators are like talking about their 29th playthrough already. i know you get early release codes but those went out like what, a week ago?
20 hours per loop lesser on succeeding loops if you are much more prepared than before. Also considering if you just didnt do mission and spent the time in the garage just pimping out your AC would make the 20 hour loop way way longer
I know this might be a spoiler, but I just have to ask.
Is Patches in the game?
Genuinely, I dont know - I havent found him yet
Honestly the story for armored core 6 gets insane. Like it goes from let's get that mcguffin to let's crash the city of Manhattan into that fuel pump the size of a montana.😂
"Full color customization is available- 343!"
How could this world have massive structures? They have elevators the size of multiple foot ball fields, walls several kilometers high and island sized man made land masses that cover the sky.
How on earth can you even manage to do that many playthroughs. It’s been out for like 4 days! Do you not get burnt out?
I had it ten days prior to release, so had plenty of time basically
Now that you’ve played it, fancy doing any lore videos? I found the narrative to be very compelling with subtle details that add to the world building in interesting ways. For example there are some logs that suggest Coral wasn’t originally *spoilers* sentient.
Can I build Nineball is the most important question.
How hard is it?
Pretty solid bosses ngl!
How many hours it takes to do 1 campaign playthrough?
I just lesson to the voice inside my head and she has lead me to some rather conflickting feeling.
Oh hello all mind...wait I feel like I've heard this before?
I wonder how many
Erdtree, 2 fingers and 3 fingers logos there is going to be.
So is this game ridiculously hard like FromSoft games usually are?
this is a good game, but don't expect it to be Elden ring or Dark souls in term of how long it can be and how rich the content will be, but it is a good game and I love it, unlikely to be a GOTY after Baldur's gate 3, but definitely deserve a try, it is addicting.
How is the soundtrack to this game? Epic or mediocre??
Is there a multiplayer or verses.
Yes, but it takes awhile to unlock, I think at chapter two
The biggest problem with AC 6 is how the augmented human generations are numbered. Why is 1st gen the newest and 4th gen the oldest??? That means that if a new way of augmenting humans is created the oldest generation becomes 5th gen. It makes way more sense to have the oldest be 1st gen.
1st gen is the oldest with 9th or 10th gen being the newest.
@@doktorbone That is a big nope.
