Hi Bruno thanks for sharing good to see you are overwhelmed with work.I love Alfa in diesel it has lots of power and very economical and efficient here in South Africa we are very limited with Alfa diesel models we have the Alfa 159 jtdm 2.4,the 1.47 jtd and the Gt 1.9 jtd no Giulietta no mito in diesel.Someday I will come visit you in Portugal and we can make video together
Hello, thanks for watching! Diesel is king here in Portugal, lots of them in all shapes and sizes! But more gasoline models will appear here in the channel, hope you like it
On forum i read that usually the bad idle could be the connector of the pressure sensor on the rail. I mean for this multijet2 engine, 1.6, 2.0 and 1.9tt.
Hi. You have probably worked on dCi engines as well. A friend from work has Clio II 1.5 dci (later model, with electric power steering). It happend to him while driving at 60 km/h in gear, lost all power, rpm dropped to 0, and all kinds of warning light came on (battery light, oil pressure). The car was in gear, so if the engine had shut off, it would show some revs. But here is was showin zero. I am thinking crankshaft pissition sensor, or something in the instrument pannel? I have checked the battery with a teater. 100% state of charge, but just over 500A, while the battery is rated at 750A. The tester says "battery good". The car has done 330.000 km.
i think the cause was bad/dirty fuel filter that allowed particles to ruin the injectors and pump. lots of people dont understand that particles that are 3x smaller than human hair is already a pretty big particle for injector. human hair size particle will block injector. and many mechanics when changing fuel filter does that with dirty hands, rags and so on. Or lets fuel lines hang while working on engine, that is also VERY VERY BAD.
My 2.2 JTS was a company car in Intesa bank in Serbia. It had the oil changes every 20.000 km. Every part on the car was the factory one. Basically they only had the engine oil and filters replaced. The engine now has 187.000 km (I bought it with 173.000 km), and it is still going strong. The chain is still the factory one. I am the first owner who had replaced parts on this car. This is also a direct injected engine, so it also has high pressure fuel pump and complex injectors. They are even piezo electric injectors. There is no fuel filter. And that is all in working condition. So I am wondering how horribly bad you have to be to the engine in order to get in this condition after only 85.000 km...
Hi Bruno! I have a question. I have AR 159 SW, 2.0 jtdm, 125 kw EGR off, with softwear 2 Injectors rebulit turbo rebuilt swirl flaps removed Engine runing very vell oil consumption is around 300 ml for almost 5000 km BUT the DPF regeneration is every 300-325 km, oil consumption is around 300 ml for almost 5000 km. Is it OK?
@@kohutemil401 Hi I have a 159jtm 2.4 and I had lots with egr and dpf regeneration Every time your car goes through a regeneration process it dumps lots of diesel into the sump via the cylinders this will eventually thin out your oil and you start to loose oil pressure and your bearings start to wear out eventually you will end with a bearing knock At a rate of 300 to 325 km regeneration is highly excessive In my opinion the dpf and the egr causes more harm than any anything else to your engine I suggest you do a dpf and a egr delete via a good tuner and in doing so your extend the life of your oil. I have done it on many 159 here in South Africa and no one has come back to unsatisfied and also hear in South Africa fortunately we don’t have any regulations that restricts us from removing the the dpf and egr
@rafiekahmed8568 a regen should be completely unnoticed by the driver. Something is up... ua-cam.com/play/PLgcTCigdgD8MyriRZ44vp-e33hn7-bYyM.html&si=Yx9iV4xvQyvc5KCX
Hello! I was wondering, my Alfa Romeo 147 recently started doing really high pitched beep sounds from the passenger side. It only appears when I go into reverse. I cannot explain it, I was told it is the noise when something is wrong with the selespeed/gearbox but there’s no errors showing. No errors on dashboard or when you are reading the car codes. Nothing. What could that be? I have a video, if it helps I can send it somewhere
I do enjoy and like your videos but i think the parts cannon went off on that engine. I'm confident that a new fp regulator and a turbo rebuild would have been enough. I fixed 90% of bad idles on dCi hdi and tdci engines with a new oem regulator.
@@alfaromeonoproblem Ok, so what caused the bad idle? Was it the hp fuel pump or the injectors? Because a leaky turbo or a bad dpf 100% does not cause a bad idle.
I wanter to buy MiTo QV, but for less money I could get a very good 159 2.2JTS, which is a much better car. So after 1 year of owning it, I can say that I did not make a mistake. 😄
Good to see your keeping busy Bruno.
Thank you very much for watching
👏🏼 bravo - as always!
Thank you very much

Hello. Yes, I've seen that too. But not always
What is the problem with the connector?
Corrosion and bad contact
@@alfaromeonoproblem corrosion in the connector? Actually i never see that thing..
@Malossianoplus its quite common on a lot of areas on cars

Job wel done do you got a fiat grande Punto 1 .3 multijet

What can cause a vibration in just the first gear of a Fiat Doblo 1.9 JTD?

Not even 100k km and so much damage. Injectors, pump, turbo, dpf 😲 That had to be expensive as hell 😔
It's wat a bad remap does...
That is basically a new engine. What had happened for so many main components to fail? 😬

Sound like some over pressure valve oppening, if there is something like that in that system.
