Thanks for video. For me, the best diagnostic program for alfa, fiat, lancia is Multiecuscan. I have no problem to diagnose my 4x alfa romeo. Greetings from Poland!
Abs/esp probably was showing an error because the steering angle needed calibration. It does that by itself (if all is good) within 50-100m of driving the car. The ABS module should Not prevent the engine from starting unless it brings down the whole CAN network due to serious problems, otherwise it doesn't influence the immo functions. Strange that Autel (even the older model you have) doesn't see the ABS module. Just found your channel and seeing you're working mostly on alfas you should buy the multiecuscan. It's very well priced so I suggest you buy the original one - no sense messing around with clones for 50 euro difference. Keep them coming!👍
You are great mechanic, not just changing parts by looking at the fault codes. My ex 159 had turbo problem, previous owner programmed the DPF off but it was done badly and car didn’t show any fault codes even when you disconnect rail pressure sensor because they cleared DTCs so car couldn’t report problem… I sold it with 116ps out of 150ps and I regret it nowdays… Still doubting between 159 1.9, GT 1.9 and Giulietta 1.4 tjet (budget is different but I’m only afraid GT will have more problems due to age only) What would you suggest as true Alfa fan and great mechanic?😅
GT is not safe in frontal crash. It has the samw problem as 147, 156 and 166 - the weak roof structure connecting A and B pillars. 159 is strong like a tank. Giulietta not as much, but as safe as any other C segment modern car. 1.4 T-Jet is the cheapest to maintain. And I imagine for Giulietta there are still parts awailable, while for the 159 you have to hunt them all over the world.
Hello If the contact is not greased, wouldn't the contact be better? I also cleaned the body cables, but I didn't dare to grease them only from the outside. The wd 40 swelled the connecting silicone seal, it happened to me. After that, you can hardly put it together.
@@alfaromeonoproblem I have this problem with a petrol fiat, I cleaned 1 plug and it swelled, the seal was hard to fit, then I don't use wd 40 for this. The videos are good, I learned a lot from them, thank you!
@@alfaromeonoproblemI replaced the main ground cables, they were corroded from the inside. Apart from the fender, where is the ground cable, I would like to clean it all.
Advice, please. My 159 1750tbi Ti generates the same sound that only comes on intermittently and only when the AC is on. ua-cam.com/video/iPwuZqETne8/v-deo.htmlsi=ByI7GldhLyJ-FwRB I had my AC serviced 2 months ago (gas and oil mixture top up) I was told that the system is leak free , and for the first 6 weeks, no noise, perfect, this sadly didn't last, and the strange "saw like" noise is back... what can this be? My local alfa people are lazy and don't seem to care. Thank you for the wonderful content you are creating.

@@alfaromeonoproblem Thanks. I have seen it actually (I see that I have left a like). I have saved the part number, in case I need it as well.
Well I think it was jump started backwards or the battery was somehow put backwards and that took out the ECU and possibly the airbag module as well
Hello. Yes, it seems so... But now it's fixed and the car is actually gone. The wife got it on the divorce

Hello. The grease is also dielectric it's made for this
Make sure to use the normal WD40. The silicone seal takes it very well, you sure no diesel contamination is present?

@zsoltbabos5273 like a engine wash, WD 40 will only be bad if any problems are lurking in

I have the same problem when I press the start/stop button the screen goes blank and nothing happens, so how did you fix it? Thanks!
Hello. Like when you do not press the clutch? Maybe the clutch switch or sensor is not good
@alfaromeonoproblem I already press clutch or brake. But same problem, car sometimes turn on And sometimes not
@simionpyro9564 check the switch with diagnosis tool.
@@alfaromeonoproblem Thanks! I try it

Hello. I have videos for that. Not enough oil on the compressor. 30 mL of oil must be added
Amazing, you are incredible. Thank you.
