I'm 75 years old and I just install Microsoft Arch 11 and I really like it.
Thank you for your service🫡
Nice. The install procedure used to be command line only, right?
I wouldn't reccomend using archinstall if you are a new user, part of learning arch linux is the manual install imo, there is no point installing a system if you don't know what to do afterwards.
That is true. Do you have any tips on how I should inform myself and learn when trying to install manually? I'm currently studying for the LPCI-1 exam, but after that I really want to install Arch Linux from scratch.
@@senobala8265 I hate to sound like the average condescending arch user, but the wiki's installation guide is perfect so long as you read it carefully.
Congrats, now you can officially say "I use arch btw"
hi, is it possible to install arch on a second drive for dual boot with dual disk? i have windows on C:, and my D: disk is a 240gb empty ssd, i want to install arch on the D disk but im afraid of losing my windows on boot, is it safe to install without interfering with my windows installation?
@@RandomShit0148 you can disconnect the windows ssd drive (unplug it) leave the 240gb drive plugged in and install arch Linux. When booting up you will have access the boot up menu to choose which drive to boot from. You can find out more info on wiki.archlinux.org. You can also install virtual box in windows and install arch as a VM.
