the $60 dollar long boards on amazon are good enough to figure out if you can do it and like it. From there you can start replacing parts with nicer parts until you have an excellent piece of kit without every paying out a fortune.
I saw all the electric boards on youtube and wanted one something fierce, but didn't know if I could even still balance on a board. I got a $60 drop-through setup, from Amazon, got better bearings, then trucks, wheels, eventually a nice deck as I used up components or decided I could make use of better kit, never spent a huge heap of money at once, but have something I can appreciate. I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference between a pricy board and a cheap one when I got started, and didn't want to spend 250 dollars to find out if I hated it or couldn't do it.
I once was in my local five below, and I found the skateboards and I wanted to try a kickflip, I broke the tail of the board, I payed 10 dollars and I am banned from five below...

OMG TRU me and my friends had went to fire below for jokes and bought one I mean I already know how to skate because I have a longboard to skateboards and a penny board and oh my God that was little five little things are horrible like it's made out of plastic and they break so easy in the griptape is bad in the trucks are plastic once again some of them don't even have like plastic bearings like there's just no bearings at all

Hi, I'm looking for a longboard for cruising that's under $100. If anyone could help me. TY
Im assuming that this will be your first skateboard, its very hard to get decent quality board for 100 $. What i would recommend doing is going to Daddies website and finding a board on sale. For example this one www.daddiesboardshop.com/gravity-36-shane-hidalgo-always-love-longboard-complete its in your price range and seems like a decent board plus it has a nose and tail which means you can learn tricks
if you want a longboard you wont regret buying you should at least go up to 150$. if you just want to cruise around you can get a skate crruiser,. the wheels are almost as big as on a longboard and they look like the small board in the video but obviosly they are bigger. i have a landyachtz dinghy which is a skate cruiser/mini longboard and it costs 129$ so it almost in your price range.
+Augustine Park if you are on a budget, try getting good used board. A lot of people stop riding their boards and are willing to sell high quality boards at a lower price
