      Chris Stoughton Haha Im actually looking around to get a feel for what its like to wrap a car. I got my 97 crown vic in a little scuff and now the body shop wants to charge me more for than I bought the car. Now is my chance. Im going to go gloss black. I have a video of it on my profile, its white now but not for long.

      Tyler they actually spread light all around the lamp. They are not like a head lamp, but are a warning lamp to give awareness to other drivers. So they are not super bright, but just enough light to show vehicle position. Hope that helps.

    • @chrisstoughton5560
      @chrisstoughton5560  6 років тому

      Cesar I had my wheels cut by a company in Tennessee called Tennessee Wheel and Tire, you can google them. They still do a lot of them, but depending on where you are at there are a couple of shops in Dallas and Houston I'm told will cut them down. I don't know their names, but maybe you can google them too. Check out some of the Facebook sites for dually trucks, they also have some guys on there that cut wheels too. Good luck man!

    Whoa!! Looks so good! Was this your first time doing a vinyl wrap? I have a 78 body dropped abs bagged dually, I'm thinking of wrapping it now after seeing this! From what I've seen for prices it looks to be quite a bit cheaper to wrap, and a lot less work. Also did you peice together your semi rims? Or did you buy a kit? I really want to run them but wow they are expensive!!

    • @chrisstoughton5560
      @chrisstoughton5560  7 років тому +1

      Ranier Morneau yeah that was my first time doing a wrap. It took me about two weeks Just doing it in the evenings. on the rims I bought the rims out of a truck bone yard then had them milled by Tennessee Wheel and Tire. much cheaper that way. Yeah this is not a cheap way too go, but it looks so amazing once you do it. Cheers!!

      Awesome fab work man!! It took me a little while to sift through all of the very handy information you have kept up with throughout your build. Are your 22.5’s the standard 168 offfset?

    • @chrisstoughton5560
      @chrisstoughton5560  6 років тому

      The wheels are standard offset. I got the mounting face of all 4 wheels on the rear machined 3/8" down to give me 3/4" per side additional clearance. Without that it is hard to tuck them on stock fenders. Yeah my blog is getting huge, but the info has been helpful to a bunch of guys over the years, and I don't have to repeat myself all the time with the same questions. Cheers!!!

Understand that I had most of the tools like razors and things like that so add in another couple of bucks for the tools and that should give you a good price range. If your vehicle is smaller it will be much less. Remember this thing is HUGE! LOL!
