They really need to errata the ED monsters to only target Guardragon cards. The fact they were printed the way they were proves no one at Konami knows how this game works... or does and REALLY wanted people to buy the set despite it hurting the game..... I'm going to bet its both.
@@streetgamer3452 Considering the state of the game... it doesn't make sense to have any ED monster capable of generic special summoning because it's too easy to break. There needs to be archetypal restrictions on pretty much every ED monster, either that they can only interact with their monsters or they restrict the summoning of monsters.

ok, so the fusion monster can be fusion summoned the old fashioned way with polymerization, right? so Dragon's Mirror to banish any 3 dead link monster from the grave could summon it, right?
Justicia may not have suffered as bad a fate as bad as Avram, but it still lost a good deal from its Japanese flavor text. “The World Key sheds tears that do not flow, as fate is fulfilled. Hmmmm. These look like an interesting deck to play, but I'm not hundred percent if I want to get them all to try. Maybe just cards that have our adorable dragon doggo.
1:26 yeah I genuinely have to wonder how has it been so long since og duel monsters and Konami still is somehow so completely and utterly incompetent when it comes to balance like why the fuck is Borreload synchro GENERIC, and at that BARRONE DE FLEUR THE ENTIRE ARCHETYPE WAS BUILT ON FLEUR SYNCHRON HOW DO YOU FUCK THAT UP ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS SLAP BORRELLOAD WITH A DARK DRAGON OR BETTER YET ROKKET TUNER RESTRICTION AND BARRONNE WITH THE FLEUR RESTRICTION KONAMI WHAT THE FUCK
The only archetype I've come across that has no cohesive strategy or combo within itself. Its not an archetype that can be ran pure. Its just an Engine....nothing more. Just...an...engine
Guardragon is essentially an engine trying to be it's own deck, but they're missing key components and their cards are all very generic. I find that to be rather strange.
Everytime I come in and out of the yugioh scene I always find myself playing dragons lol. Back in the day it was chaos dragons. Now it's dragon link while still using a chaos engine. I've been playing d link for like a good 3 years now on and off. From 10 negate boards to the more layered mid range deck we have now
@catriamflockentanz7715 Yeah, they'll hit us crazy style every other banlist, but then drop new generic dragon support and / or chaos support that just sends us right back into relativity. When I was a boy, I played a trash red eyes deck on the schoolyard. Then, like 9th grade summer, I got back in and copped the dragons collide structure deck lol. I fell off and came back 3 years ago to play dragons again, lol

IMO link and Pendulum monsters should be support monsters to bring out massive effect, fusion, synchro and xyz monsters, not to be the powerful by themselves.
Isn't Guardragon technically not an archetype since there are no cards that mention them by name? You can't cover an archetype that doesn't exist! I'm getting my lawyers.😂

That Dragon doggo is a real MVP.
Most valuable pooch.

I still remember when all of them are legal alongside unerata'd red-eyes md. What a time to choose to get back into Yu-Gi-Oh...

If they had more main deck monsters sure but there’s so little that it makes sense to be just generic

I’m hopeful since dragon links were brought up, we’ll soon get into the Rokkets & Borreloads
Easy way to fix elpy make it so it can only special summon guardragon monsters
Oh a new video, guess I’ll check this out.
honestly i only know this is an archetype because of the md world legacy solo mode
Oof I found them out a year or 2 before MD came out, and had a jiss of the story

man I am sad that agarpain and elpy are banned I wanted to make a Full in archetype deck
So why do they have a tuner if they don't have any archetype specific synchros?
World Chalice Justiciar, technically.
Lore reasons to tie in with world chalice/world legacy
It's cuz the tuner dragon fused it's soul to ib in order to revive her, making her into a synchro monster... A generic broken synchro at that
