Surprise Stadium has the spring training home of the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers. Watching baseball at Surprise Stadium is lots of fun. There is a lot of golf around Surprise. One downer is Luke Air Force Base jets fly overhead and I was surprised how loud it can be. My wife and I Snowbird in a 55+ community in Surprise we mostly live in Colorado. Surprise is much cheaper than CO, the weather is great part of the year but WAY to HOT in summer! Colorado summers are hard to beat. Your video has a lot of good points such as Surprise is really growing, new homes are cheap. I am 63 and right now and I would not make Surprise my permanent home yet, maybe at age 73 or later. I like some of the older parts of Phoenix. Your videos are very interesting thanks for sharing!
The Surprise Stadium is 20+ minutes away from the new part of Surprise, the golf courses you mention are mostly in 55+ communities and you're only experiencing AZ in the most desirable months of the year. It's very different if you live here full-time. Spring Training is only 7 weeks long.
Thank you for doing these tours in Surprise. We were considering that area because #1, the Air Force Base and #2 the prices but now knowing theres absolutely no scenery kind of changes that. I don't mind driving 20 mins for shopping and eating but it sounds like its pretty bare in Surprise.
It depends on what you're looking for. Everyone we asked though, including one Air Force personnel, said he did lot like the area and would have picked a different area had he known. He said he was told it was the place to buy and just took their advice.

Models are always the nicest with the tons of upgrades. This buyer bought the spec backing to the rental community because of all the additional incentives that we were able to get. We actually sold several of these homes. LOL

Oh I have seen WAYYYY worse in California. But yes it's new to Arizona and very abundant now.

I wouldnt buy any of them. That area is awful in Surprise, its surrounded by rental communities and a lot of crime in that area. Avoid at all costs.
Yes I pointed out the rental areas, not a lot of crime just yet though as it's not all occupied, yet. Rentals don't equal crime, but more people with not enough city services does.
