It makes sense. You get more value for your 💰. Working on my wife to move to the Houston area from Long Island in the state of NY. Both of our taxes and home prices are getting out of reach for many.
I think a large office off the foyer is wasted space and I am someone who primarily works from home. I would much rather have a pocket office or carve out space in a guest bedroom for an office.

@WORLDTV276 you would be paying about same in taxes for a 2200-2400 sq.fq. $400k brand new house in a new, good community here.
