This video is part of TEAS 7 Chemistry Essentials with Tyler DeWitt, which gives you all the information that you need to ace the Chemistry portion of the ATI TEAS 7 Exam. In this video, we talk about electrons and ions, which are topics that almost always show up on the TEAS. When the number of protons and electrons in atom is not equal, the atom will get a charge and will become an ion. Ions that are positively charged are called cations, and ions that are negatively charged are called anions. Throughout the video, we do lots of TEAS practice problems, so that you can make sure you deeply understand this information for the test.

Just finished watching ur series of videos. Thank you so much. It helped reinforce info I’d previously learned in HS (with the help of another TEAS educator on this platform too). Also helps that ur easy on the eyes 😩 I take the TEAS in 2 days so kiiinda wish I’d stumbled on ur videos sooner but it is what it is 😀 I know u mentioned u have a phd “in this stuff” but would be cool if u did a series of videos on A&P. The way u breakdown “complex” topics is so accessible ♥️♥️
