Come on Animal Planet you released this in 2019 and couldn't take a moment or two to celebrate the four ladies of the litter? Oh my, they are girls, I guess they aren't capable of learning herding skills so let's put ALL the focus on the two boys. Phew they are all so damn cute but messaging is important too.
We had a border collie mix. We live in the suburbs. If we had a party, she wouldn’t be happy until she herded every guest into a little group in one room. They didn’t even realize what she was doing. It was really funny to watch her poke and prod all these adults until she got them right where she wanted them.

All the best from the U.K.
I don't know why, but it seems every other border collie is named Fly. There's a Fly here. In "Snow Dogs," there's a border collie named Nana, BUT the dog who plays this character is actually named Fly. I guess it's just a common name for the breed.

I was raised by 2 Border Collies in succession. To avoid the conflict of mom and I arguing about coming in for a nap, I was dragged into the dog house and made to nap by our first BC. If I got out of the yard, I was herded back to the gate and there was the bark, telling mom to let us back in. The dog got a milk bone, I got a swat on the butt. If you want to be emotionally manipulated by a dog, get a Border Collie, its the best experience you can have so long as you have the time and space to exercise them. My mom grew up on a farm in central Texas, where they had 3 Borders for 3000 head of sheep and they moved them from field to field every day. That was a sight to see.
As someone who has been around many different kinds of animals all of my life, it never ceases to amaze me how accepting dogs are. They really do want to be friends with everyone. They don’t care what species, what gender, or what color an animals is, nor (9 times out of 10) what handicaps an animal may have. There are genetic reasons for this, of course (friendliness has been bred into dogs over thousands of years), but it’s still something we humans can learn from.
@@dhyeyapatel8688 Border Collies can learn up to 750-1000 different words, so you can be very specific about commands. If you don’t believe me, there is (or was, he recently died) a Border Collie named Chaser who lived with a psychology professor in South Carolina, USA who learned around that many different words. You can find his videos on UA-cam, and various academic articles written about him by the professor.

Listen, I love all dogs. But...Border collies have a special place in my heart. After you have one, no other dog seems right...or smart enough.
My dog found this movie extremely exciting.
I have a border collie and even without training are natural herders.
Dave
Does it herd you (and your family?).
@@maryrosekent8223 My last one did as anything that moved was fair game, but this one only tends to herd rabbits, children and other dogs. She tried to herd cats as a puppy but left them alone when they spat at her.
Dave
The last bit of your comment gave me a good chuckle! 😁😁
@@dave4803 now i really want to se a video of a dog herding kids, what a nice way to get rid of children when they get annoying
Smartest breed in the world.
Look how beautiful these dogs are and with they're pops watching over them, you can't tell me dogs don't have strong thoughts and emotions. Anyone that would think about hurting a dog is a monster
Why did he name the boys but not the girls? I wanted to know the girls’ names too 😭😭😭
Those aren't their real names :( Sometimes they don't have names until they're adopted
My friend's grandma's cat was on too cute but his name is different now
@@daniellacardente5755 Wait, but which episode? And *what* cat?
My thoughts exactly, Anabanana96.
We can name one suzzy you get the next name
Come on Superwoman!!!!! give us boys a fucking break
I love this video they are too cute and when the brothers go under the pan hiding from chickens too cute.
Scottish Border Collie's best dogs in the world🤗

Lulu: ( *nuzzles Shep* )
Shep to cameraman: DID YOU SEE THAT???
What a character Lulu is... I'd love to be friends with her!
Bling has fur babies and also a career herding other animals, her paws are full! 😁🐕❤️🐾💞😍
Blue Victory
Bling has been retired almost 5 years. She lives with my family now, so this video must be 5-7 years old. It’s fun to see her in action. At 9.5 years old, she’s still beautiful, very calm, sensitive, loyal and not interested in herding anything. Basking identify the sun after a long walk is her retirement bliss.
Heather G 💕
My seven-year-old dog heard the noises from the puppies and came over to look for them :D
Oh my word, there is nothing cuter than tiny puppies stretching and making little grunts of happy! I melt each and every time!!!!
The amount of pun in this whole vid i just 🤣
Lulu looks like the best herding prospect.
This video made me fall more in love with our newly rescued Border Collie. They are a high energy breed and the smartest among the breeds and very lovable! I wish we got ours as a puppy, we missed out on all that baby cuteness 😍
I love border collies! They are my favorite dogs!
I have a BCollie--- and when he's in a large field, all his instincts come out-- he wont let you outflank him--- and gives me the stare when I say we have to go... such great Dogs--
“Pay attention, kids; watch, listen and LEARN!” ❤️🐶(what little beauties!)
Does this guy think only boys can herd? Cuz I am here to tell you my little girl dog was a real boss herding dog. She did far better than our two boys.
Yes, thank you for bringing that up. I don’t live on a farm but I love watching sheepdog trials and there are girls as well as boys - no distinction.
@@chuzzthefuzz1908 I kept waiting for them to tell the names of the other pups, but they just showed the boys. Made me wonder if only the males do herding.
My best herders were females.
Aww she looks like a collie.😍
Border collie puppies are so precious.
I clicked on this video to see adorable border collie pups and was rewarded with exactly that! I wasn't expecting to be served a side of misogyny as well.
This is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. These babies are precious and beautiful. This makes me happen so I’ll be watching this over and over again.
We had a border collie mix. We live in the suburbs. If we had a party, she wouldn’t be happy until she herded every guest into a little group in one room. They didn’t even realize what she was doing. It was really funny to watch her poke and prod all these adults until she got them right where she wanted them.
I'm really craving chocolate right now so I'm just trying to distract myself by watching puppies.
please don't eat puppies, even if they look a little like chocolate. haha
Hahaha!!
I love how he said shep
The mascot of where I work is a border collie named Nick. He's 9, super fluffy, and is a retired sheep dog. Haven't heard him bark though. The fact that he's around makes it easier to be away from my dog. When I go home next month, my dog is going to be very happy to see me
What a childhood on the farm those pups had
bet there all grown up now with kids of there own
Now, THAT'S what I call a flock of cuteness.
I once had a Border Collie named Socks! She was so sweet and intelligent! She has long since been in heaven now. Seeing all the baby Borders are SO precious!
The Border collie comes from the Borders of Scotland, they are very energetic and can run all day, if you are not a farmer they are ONLY suitable if you like LOTS of walks and perhaps running as well, after they have reached the correct age for exercise , viewers might be interested t9 know that they are the most intelligent dog by a long long way.
All the best from the U.K.
Actually they come from England, look up old hemp.
The most beautiful and awesome dogs to have as a friend.
They are so cute and adorable and so smart.
Can we have an episode about The Gal's next? it would be lovely to see how they dealt with the same :-)
Lulu is looking for her MOTHER.
Baby animals can be the cutest thing in the world.
when i was a baby, my dad got a baby border collie he was the smartest dog we ever owned loved us kids
Lou Lou is adorable 💕
I love these border Collies, my favorites are still the rough collie and the Shetland sheepdog. I like Shep and fly's potential of herding
🐕🐶🐄🐑🐏🐐🐓🐔🐂
Oh my gosh. This reminds me so much of my poor baby Dash, he died in October. I miss him so much. Best. Dog. Ever., Well real dog, not wuss dog.
Humans love animals that do what they say. Makes them feel powerful.
Aww...shep and fly. That's from the movie Babe! They had border collies in that too ❤
Kimberly Kisling Yes, That was where I first heard of Border Collies and that they are working dogs.
I'm mad they didn't tell us girls names 😔😒
I don't know why, but it seems every other border collie is named Fly. There's a Fly here. In "Snow Dogs," there's a border collie named Nana, BUT the dog who plays this character is actually named Fly. I guess it's just a common name for the breed.
@@mcmptnIt's a traditional name for border collies.
@@patavinity1262 Having had the pleasure of seeing a few of them run during herding demonstrations, I can certainly understand why.
5:15 "Son, am disappoint."
kitsch katze 5:38 you disappoint me Son
My heart full thanks to the person who posted this. Knowing there exists those that permit beings to live to their fullest is comforting.
MY HEART 🥰 I literally could not stop smiling whilst watching this 🤩
This is just the cutest off the chart cuteness video ever. Wish it was longer. Love how the announcer makes each puppy a special star by telling a little bit about each one of them. Keep up the great works
EACH puppy? Not even...he only ever talked about the two boys and never even said the names of the four girls.
@@michellerestaino2772 Yeah, I'm not sure if only male border collies do herd, but after this I sure have to think it is that way bacause why only mention the boys?
Bloody adorable this clip. Parents and pups toooooo darn cute for words‼️🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
I remember binging this show when I was a little kid! Was super obsessed, I’m glad I found it again ☺️
this went from cute documentary to children's show in no time
So fluffy 💕 I love them all!
OH my goodness that little black lamb is freaking adorable the puppies are too though.
So CUTE!!! I love the narrator's voice.
They don’t need to learn, they are born proficient ❤
The guy who is doing the background talking reminds me of the guy who did the same thing for the Charlottes web movie
So?....
Kelley MacDonald it’s a comment not a question
Why is this a story about the two male puppies. Female border collies herd as well.
Oh Boy Oh Boy Oh Boy I freaking love border collies
As someone who has been around many different kinds of animals all of my life, it never ceases to amaze me how accepting dogs are. They really do want to be friends with everyone. They don’t care what species, what gender, or what color an animals is, nor (9 times out of 10) what handicaps an animal may have. There are genetic reasons for this, of course (friendliness has been bred into dogs over thousands of years), but it’s still something we humans can learn from.
i heard that border collies can learn up to 16 commands making them one of the best herding dog breeds
@@SneakyCheeseThief wow, I really didn't know that. thanks for sharing!
This is a great bed time story for children..
