Thank you Robert Plant for being who you are ...
A Great Man as Evidenced Here. And Blunt Put out the Most Luscious Chorused Strat Sounds you Will Ever Hear. Here.
Hearing this man speak, the eloquence and intelligence, humility and wit, really makes you sense the stardust he is made of.
The words "god" and "legend" are overused in this era, but for Robert Plant? Using any descriptions other than these is doing a disservice to the voice and mind that carries the lyrics of so many forces of nature.
Thank you Robert Plant
Amen ♥
I melt when I hear Robert Plant’s voice! This podcast is the greatest!
Soundtrack of my life 💗💗💗
Cozy sounded so good on those tracks back in 82’
ROBERT PLANT FOREVER! LONG LIVE ROBERT PLANT!
I could listen to robert plant for hours. He is mesmerizing.
I'I was a girl from a small Island in the Caribbean "Puerto Rico" and i started listing to Rock in 1980 we were behind about 10 years in everything dripping down the screened music and only one station will play Rock on Sunday nights, and there i discover LZ " to this day I'm 51 now and have travel many times, and rock and roll thru the years, but those Sundays nights are sill in my soul. its amazing to me that i can hear you now and music any time i want, Robert Plant thank you !!
I could listen to this great man talk all day.
One of my favorite solo songs he wrote
You are a charming person Robert. And I agree with you, wanderful friends cannot be replaced. It is so relaxing to listen to your voice just talking. I imagine you living in a magic country with fairies.
It is so cool that Robert Plant is sharing this with his fans! Thank you Robert!
Mr. Plant thank you, thank you, thank you for share your creativity with us. I wish you great times and tons of smiles.
This is my all time favorite Plant song
Wow.. This Album, The Principal of Moments.. Shaken & Stirred.. W/Robbie Blunt & Phil Collins. Was EXACTLY where I was at, & ( Manna) to my ears ! I am a touring musician. (Guitar) Playing [Original Music ONLY ] It is hard to find ppl, [ Who can Just pull MAGIC out of the ether now ]
Where do I even start? Finally listened to his first solo album. All the same guys as his second solo album. Collins, Blunt, & Martinez play flawlessly
🎼 when one appreciates an artist not only for their music, but for the person he or she has become over their career, that's when they truly shine! For the many blessings you've received, we forget the many loses that came with them on your path.....& like the rest of us, ( your) music has been the healing stone. If we knew nothing about you other than your music history, it would definitely tell a story ......with many chapters to come!!✌❤
♥♥♥ Robert Plant is eternal ♥♥♥
It is incredible to be able to listen to a genuine legend discuss his remarkable career in music. Robert Plant's voice is a marvel that never fails to amaze.
Listened to this and Principle of Moments over and over and over again! These along with every Led Zep album, I could never get enough of! 💖💙💜🙏
Always thought Pictures a very impressive solo debut. He's one of the few Rock icons who has aged gracefully without drifting into self parody. Hats off to you, Mr. Plant! 👍🏾
11:21 “I’ve been in good company all the way through my time, and that is the greatest gift I could wish for.”
He's a wise man. I love his perspective.
This is awsome nice to hear you. I would wake up as a child and hear your songs like ringing in my ears. I remember my musical tones changed but always go back to zep. Signed: 70s CHILD
Given how little exists of Plant in interviews during the Zep years for the reasons we all know so well and even beyond those years...its awesome to have these podcasts where he presents these stories behind the songs...just amazing! Please continue to do these the subscriber count will grow in due time!
Robert Plant, Sir, You Rock! We all lost Bonzo. Thank you for the podcast. Truly spectacular!
Very interesting. I am so grateful finding this podcast.
since 1981, we've loved all that you've created.
Thanks again, Robert Plant. You keep making history.
Um greatest front man of all time !!

Artie Kost Amen to that! The one and only!!
Hey 1976 H D ROCK N ROLL royalty , I miss them deeply , Rock On 😔
Artie Kost I miss them too...but we are so blessed and lucky to have walked the Earth at the same time with them and have their music. I wear out their albums, I fall in love over and over again with their songs. Chin up, smile my friend! 😉
Thank you for doing this....it lovely to hear your voice, your words and ALWAYS your music!
🙏🏻 many times each night I thank some wonderful parents making this genius, Mr Robert Plant 🙏🏻
Thank you parents wherever you are.
RP, love you forever 😽
You sir are straight up beast mode .
There is only one RP!
You can feel his voice as a legend of rnr!!!👍❤❤
This episode has left me speechless, as nothing I could possibly say would do it justice. Robert, man of Valhalla, you are so lovely in so many ways ❤
I forgot how beautiful this song is...it's been so long....
Thank you for the influences and for the beautiful music which has been the soundtrack to my life, thank you
Really great to hear the history of these great songs ..Thanks Robert ....tears when I hear this song .
There's an absolutely amazing live version of this song that is just so indescribably beautiful. Love this song.
Nice Song Music Sound Recording Very Clean Good To Hear On Earing, ..... God Bless Bro, ...... Cherrio.🌠🎵🎼🎤🎼🎵🌠👍👍👍🌠.
Pictures at 11 is my favourite Plant album. Slow Dancer was called 'the Kashmir of the 80s' for very good reason! Many tracks could easily have been taken from Presence or In Though the Out Door.
Beautiful song ❤
Your voice is so beautiful, dear Robert...otherworldly!!!! 💗💗💗
Absolutely agree! 💕 Does his voice also give you the shivers? He sounds like an angel, doesn’t he?.....🥰🥰🥰 👍✌️
This has always been my favorite track on Pictures at Eleven
Mine is Worse Than Detroit.
"Pledge Pin" is mine - rarely, if ever, gets mentioned and totally ignored by the Critics at the time- so many layers to that song -it rocks as well as swings with that brilliant sax playing by the Late Raphael Ravenscroft who famously played on Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street"
I cannot say how much I have enjoyed this! Love you Robert, rock on for a long long time!
Too short. Need more!
So nice of you to share this with us thank you!
Respect and love to Mr. Robert Plant X👄X👄
What a great man to do a podcast! I had these solo albums, they were fab! ❤️❤️ love his voice,it's so relaxing.
Interesting & intelligent. Guy still sings like he did when he was in his 30s as well!!! Planty is so beautiful inside/ out.
Robert, I have Hemophilia and I wanted to thank you! Your music has gotten me out of alot of darkened days. I know I'll never get the pleasure of meeting you, but I wish I could. You really should come out with some Live material. I think it's a very important step to chronicle various aspects of your career in a Live setting. Please think about it -especially for true fans like myself who cannot come out to your shows.
The podcast needs to be longer babe, just needs to be. Love hearing all the stories, still would love that sit down and tea with you. Been listening to you music since you guys started. Yes I'm old too. Just a led head at heart. Thanks for for your insightful thoughts.
Tea for two then
I love your podcasts Robert.
It is rare to hear the artistic processes and influences behind the art.
I am not a musician but. Am a painter and mixed media artist with abstract thinking and problem solving understanding-
The art creates itself - thanks for this. Eye opening and inspiring podcast- I am hooked
One of myself absolute favorite Robert Plant songs. Wish he would perform this on tour.
That is so cool to hear Robert tell his stories. Thanks RP! xx
Love this track. Thank you for doing the podcast. It's great to hear you tell your stories. ❤❤
What a great guy!
Thank you Robert, keep rocking , your the best
I am attracted to a plethora of music genres, and have never had a favorite color, number, food etc. You, Robert are my ONE favorite! 💋 Loving the podcasts. TY
As for me, I saw and heard Robert Plant during both the Now and Zen and Maniac Nirvana tours at Merriweather Post Pavilion and the late, great Capital Center. Awesome performances, the band was loud and tight and the songs blew everyone away...
Once again I have enjoyed listening. Thank you for sharing your podcast with us. So cool that we can hear how the songs came about. And thank you again Matt Everett for presenting the podcasts to us every week.
Matt truly has the awesome job ever, you can tell he enjoys it and is pretty good at it too.
Yes he is indeed a fortunate man and he is good at it as is his subject Robert Plant.
You are the best Percy!!
THX FOR THE DECADES:):)
Beautiful song and album. I also really love "Far Post," which may have been a single at that time or didn't make the album.
Thanks Robert, love hearing how you got started after Zep, keep carrying the hammer!!!!!
God Bless Bro, Have Always Successful, ..Thanks The MV Podcast Song , .... Cherrio.🌠🎼🎸🎼🎵🎤🎵🌠👍👍👍🌠.
A question I would love for you to ask Robert in the next podcast. How does it make him feel knowing how much he has affected so many people's lives with his music? And still does to this day? Does it creep him out, or make him feel good? Thank-you so very much.
This was incredible to listen to my favorite track like ive never been gone is a masterpiece dont ubkid yourself beautifully played and written. That's another understatement. Such sweet words And this was beautful loved ALWAYS wanted to know the story behind this epic song thank you ❤❤😍🌱🌿🌈😉🌹🦋
Whatever, Pictures at 11 is still Robert's BEST ALBUM.....every single detail fits right where it gotta be.....never repeated this magical record, though Principle may be seen as a little twin brother ......
Kreso Caren yes I agree w you! I love this album as well!!!! 🎸🎸🎸🎸
without a doubt it was his greatest solo album with a fresh approach and musicians
Completely agree with you. It was also one that could have been a more mellow 80's sounding Led Zeppelin album, an almost natural progression from In Through The Out Door. Robert had yet to expunge his Zeppelin mannerisms yet.
i love these podcasts. thank you robert. :) hugs from forida.
My most favorite solo piece!
His songs are soooooo positive. So amazing. He's such a talent.
Like I've never been gone live is a song I listen to almost every day
LET'S GO PLANT!
part of my memories... digging deep again into LZ & Robert Plant
i love these podcasts, please keep them coming, Robert :)
LOVE!
❤️😍♡ You are the Best!! I love you 😘
Greatest rock front man of all time. The End. ✌️❤️
I couldn't agree more!
He talks about springtime and bluebirds. Listened to this album non stop at 14-15 years old
This song is magical. Thank you for these podcasts~ #Love #Grateful
I'm glad i bought this and the next solo album (The Principle Of Moments) Robert did on a whim a few years ago, because it was a real surprise, in terms of the energy in the tracks. His vocals were rich with emotion and power, and the ensemble was in sync.
It's such a joy to hear him talk about all this stuff on these podcasts. Brilliant stuff & thank you for sharing.
So happy to have discovered this podcast. It opened me up to all of his solo projects. Led zep has been one of my favorite bands for as long as I have been listening to music. The first album I have bought was LZ 2. Since the first broadcast of DD, i have gotten all of this solo albums and I am loving them. Thank you so much.
LED ZEP 2020 TOUR!! Let’s do this Robert!!!
Loved the first two solo records, in particular the second one, The Principle of Moments, a huge album for me during high school. The droning guitar chords string by string, the synthesizer-carpeting, the 1980's glossy sound, that frosty weed feeling. I don't think it was a mistake to explore the technology because it reflected those times and you weren't afraid to break out of the long shadow of the Zeppelin.
Wonderful podcast and really entertaining. Thanks so much for giving your fanbase such an informative broadcast, which must take a while to put together. It is much appreciated.
Always one of my favourite plant solo tracks , the vocals at the end of the song are some of his best in my opinion
Robert is always Creating New Works and transforming and giving new face lifts to the things of old with new interpretations of fresh ideas with creativity. "THAT'S TRUE ARTISTRY"
❤ Mr Plant
I love this album. I love this song. He's just an all around amazing artist.
thank you. always interesting. ♡♡♡
DON ROBERTO PLANT, saludos desde Lima Perú
Please talk about 6s and 7s soon. The smooth eighties track.
Yes, agree. This song is so beautifully misterious to me. Want some light shed.
Yes TALK ABOUT 6s & 7s
AND
PINK & BLACK !!!
aw sO Good!
I Love the pod cast ! Love hearing the thought behind the songs in Roberts own voice . It takes me back to my youth. I was 17 when pictures at eleven was relased. I rember playing it over and over again full blast in a pitch black room as i laid on the floor just absorbing his awsome voice. Becoming one with the music. And now when Zepplin comes on the radio i tell the kids to be quiet and i still blast the radio . I cant get enough of it
In the mood croovy chow baby.
This is yet another super performance by the Master of all!!
Robert really just gets straight to the point. If this was Jimmy's podcast all the episodes would be an hour long lol
Robert PLEASE adopt me! I am 54 yrs old but mentally I am a child 🧒. You will make a great dad for me!! 😂. Other than that I love these podcasts-they make Sunday fun again! ❤️🙏🎼
😀😀 I think He prefers to make childrens and not adopt, but keep trying, never know...😀😀
👍😉💞
Who the hell are the 3 people that gave this a thumbs down?
Awesome podcast, thank you cried trough the whole concert in Vancouver 1982 In the Mood tour. 🌞🌟🌠💖😇🙏💥
I wonder if RP would ever recruit the musicians from his first 2 albums on his next or future albums, past meets present just like Now and Zen.
I agree.
This group nailed it , his best solo stuff to date. It was a Great collaboration from them all. And wow Phil Collins .
Crap i can't stop listening 😂😍
