  • The entire Philippines is experiencing massive development, not only in the capital but in the provinces as well. Media labelled the Philippines as a very poor nation which is not true. Yes, The Philippines is not a poor nation and media are not showing the good things that are happening in our country. Media hides it from the truth.
    So I collected all this pictures of manila and some part of the country and made this slideshow. Now, see for yourselves and you"ll be the Judge.

    I just wish that our government officials in the Philippines should also start to do more to help out also to make the rest of the country as modern and improve society as Luzon.Philippines does not ,should not represent Luzon only but the Entire Archipelago.You can brag how nice, how beautiful one certain island if the other parts of the country are left behind and still struggling does not define the true unified country specially being a Filipino who are well known for its hospitality and kindness.Just observe those more advance countries already like Europe,Japan, South Korea. Their entire country are well look after ,modernized already and most its people living in a comfortable life, while The Philippines ??? Death sentence to those corrupt goverment officials. Education and Free Medical Care should be a priority for its people. Report immediately and zero tolerance to those who breaks the law.May God bless the Philippines and continue to improve its economy and the life of its own people. :)

    Awesome. But out of this tall buildings are people still living in a sub standard condition. Philippines is no longer poor country but developing. The Duterte administration should push for a Federal form of Government for equal distributions of wealth to places in the provinces. And other cities in the Philippines will be at par with that in Metro Manila.

    I absolutely agree that building is going on everywhere and an expansion is certainly taking place. I do see it far more in the Cities than in the provinces. Philippines economy is rising fast and as long as the money is spent in the right areas then big things are ahead for the Philippines. They need to spend a lot on infrastructure and that will help many different facets of the Philippines in it's rise. Look out World the Philippines is waking! :)

      I so agree with you about the hidden or God blessed treasure of our country. The problem is, for soooooo many years,Filipinos have placed or voted the wrong leader to lead our nation.Lucky right now, President Duterte is the chosen One for the next 6 years but after his presidency or leadership, Who is next? ,that can lead The Philipines to the right direction of true modernized, uncorrupted nation? How sure or guaranteed every filipinos that the next leader of the Philippines is as good or better than President Duterte now ?I left Philippines about 30 years ago ,when I was teenager and by far,of all the Presidents ,I 've heard or seen handled the country to only made themselves wealthier or their cabinet members ,if not all .Panawagan ko na lang po sa lahat ng mga kapwa ko Pilipino, Huwag ibenta ang boto ninyo.

      Joseph Villafuerte Cebu city my city needs mass public transport badly.
      Traffic is getting worse than ever and we have to wait very loooong to get even a decent BRT or LRT to get implemented.
      Yet they only concentrate on such actual progress at Manila.
      You want Manila depopulated? Then give all provinces these same privileges to develop cities.

    • @aglayamajorem9546
      @aglayamajorem9546 6 років тому

      R Galgo A single politician can't change the entire 7,1007 islands. What's Duterte when in Cebu we have an incompetent, shady mayor like Osmeña who isn't as efficient in running the city like the president? Cebu should pick better local government.

    • @josephvillafuerte4970
      @josephvillafuerte4970 6 років тому

      Philemona Myshkin hello, I'm not from Cebu so I don't have first hand experience on what's happening on your province. But I have info that the current city admin has been pushing the existence of BRT for a long time but the said project receives constant opposition. Tho, i guess the project is now receiving a decent amount of budget.
      not sure if Cebu wants LRT ASAP. LRT might not be realized until 2025 at least

  • @francesoutlaw7021

    I used to question the indifference of the media and humanity on a larger scale toward the Filipino people no matter how much kindness, generosity, or hospitality this group of brown skinned children, rich or poor, show their fellowmen. Now, I am starting to understand why the country's colonial masters were very successful at erasing the true identity of the Filipino people in the effort to shield God's given wealth or resources to His children from thieves and robbers. In due time, Filipinos will experience the long-awaited benefits for staying true to their faith, hardwork, and above all, showing love of humanity. The current development of the Philippines is a good sign, and it is highly recommended that critics stay patiently as change for the better does not happen overnight. The confidence of the people to their current administration is required for all the projects to be launched and implemented. So, stay optimistic as all the filipinos will be blessed by Him.

    Kingtot Pogs, excellent job on showcasing the Philippines national progress and economic development, and keep doing it in spite of the critics who will always bring up the negatives in anything. The poor, squatters, and "dirts" are part of life, and they will be addressed in due time (if anyone wants to see the problems of the country, there are appropriate videos of those on UA-cam, but it would be travesty if the good things happening in the country are not showcased). Even in a first world country like the U.S., no one can deny the increasing number of homelessness and poor families who cannot even afford decent meals; nevertheless, unoccupied lands are being used as dumping grounds for all sorts of trash (e.g. deserts in Coachella Valley in Riverside County, California). These problems are apparent worldwide and anyone who claims otherwise is just blinded of the truth. Progress and development geared toward infrastructures is one of the best way to affect prosperity in any nation; hence, Philippines is moving in that direction. All stakeholders out there would want to see the efforts of the Philippine government to show them why it is worth investing their money on the country, and this video of yours is one way to show the world "this is the Philippines now!" Thanks, and have a nice day! :)

    Its a wishful thinking to make the entire Metro Manila like these CBDs but I am keeping my fingers crossed. That's why it is also an economic position to federalize and push development to the countryside to mitigate urban migration and poverty. Metro Manila CBD's will not be hurt by it but rather the provinces will receive a trickle down of that development. That would be better I think.

    8 things that i wish Philippines would improve is
    1.Pollution
    Sana i prioritize yan ng government.
    2.poverty and slums.
Our country has some of the most beautiful beaches. Isa na dun yung lack of transportation.
    5. Tourism. Ayun nga katulad ng sinasabi ko. Our country is a beautiful country na kailangan din mapansin ng ilan. Kaya sana mag focus din yung government natin dito :)
    6.Equality
    Equality kasi mas nag fo focus and government sa manila. Simple things like fixing the roads and buildings bridges.
    8.Crime and drugs.
    Rape, pag nanakaw at drugs. As well as yung mga pulis na umaabuso sa kapangyarihan nila. Sana ma lessen na.

    Sure there are improvements in the country. Recent statistics however has shown that we are again lagging behind in relation to comparable Asean economies like Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Vietnam will soon surpass us. As economists observed, our main problem is governance. We are so bogged down with politics and less attention is given to our major problem: The economy. Presently we have high inflation, the weakest currency in Asia. Our stock market is depressed. Foreign investors leaving. When are our leaders going to wake up. Our policies are not conducive to doing business in the country. The private sector can not do it alone. The initiative of the Pinoy and Pinay working hard and trying to live under difficult circumstances are not enough. We Need smart innovative leaders. That we do not have.

There are way more important factors such as Education / Healthcare / Poverty / GDP per capita / Tourism / Technology / Manufacturing / Economy / HDI / Safety and much more.... Countries like Finland and Sweden have WORSE skyline than the Philippine.
