Every building is also approved by the city's engineer. The city engineer would be the one to approve and decide what support, and materials should be used to build the building to avoid incidents. Hopefully, no strong earthquake would suddenly take these buildings down, like that's going to make a huge casualty and many lives would be in big danger.

It wouldn't take anywhere near that long. Taking the tallest building on Billionaires Row, the Central Parking Tower, which is 1550 feet tall, I did the calculations and it would take an average of about 44 seconds to go from ground level to the top of the building. Actually, it would be somewhat less than that because the highest floor is lower than the top of the building.

Soon that will change with automation. Businesses have to close because few people want to work those hours. But with automation, there will be no employee complaining and comprising with hours; services will be open 24/7. I can't wait for places like Starbucks to implement this so that my drink tastes the same wherever I go and I don't have to deal with barista attitudes.

The football Lad I am talking about NEW YORK CITY. Albany and Long Island are not nyc. Living in nyc with 60k is possible if you wanna live in a ghetto matchbox without saving any money and without kids ( which will happen eventually, its part of life). You will never be able to own anything and renting for so many years without building wealth in real estate is a waste of time and money. You could have multiple properties with 60k in other states. Thats my main point , the lost opportunity for you to be a landlord and buy other investment properties. Instead you live paycheck by paycheck renting a shitty 400 sq feet apartment. Not to mention that ny has horrible taxes , there is no income tax in some states. Open a llc in ny and your business will get eaten alive.
My parents live in “ long island” and both nassau and suffolk county got ridiculously high property taxes. Properties went up a lot as well. No chance in hell to own a 500k property with 12k plus in property taxes with 60k a year lmao. And rents are extremely expensive as well. You will also need a car... good luck with that at fault , ridiculously high car insurance. Long island IS NOT CHEAP AT ALL either.

Hey B1M, I'm always impressed by your videos, I'm an architecture student and it would be very inspirational if you guys would do a video on construction of buildings in Europe before the industrial revolution, I always wondered how buildings in Paris and London and Rome were built without reinforced steel, for instance there floors, how are many levels of floors carried out without the use of steel and simply mortar and brick and other materials if we know floors undergo tension and steel combats it, it would be great since you guys make videos on the many types of construction. There are certain elements like vaults and buttresses but some buildings lack these supporting elements and still support weight without steel.

I stayed on 57th St at the Days Inn on my first trip to NYC in 1992. From Melbourne, Australia. I have been back a few times to the States but not to NYC. Will be there in 3 weeks' time. The over development and empty penthouse apartments is a familiar story here. Minus the billionaire's row price tag. I will miss the tiny white St Nick's Greek Church next to the WTC I visited back then. And pre-gentrification New York. But I won't miss bringing travellers cheques. Thank you for an informative, engaging video.

As a Native Manhattanite, nothing says it all, of the new unworldly New York as does Billionaire's Row. This is so Un the city I loved. The city has become what a tourist thinks New York should be. Nothing breaks my heart more than what happened to Manhattan. At the end of the day a city is only as good as it's citizens. You have captured the essence of the excitement and drama associated with these new, almost impossible seeming structures along with a well researched narrative describing billionaires row as it relates to the rest of Manhattan. The narrative is informative and is embellished with a rich tapestry of high-end, upper-bracket terminology woven seamlessly into visually stunning Video. Thank you for this superlative explanation of what is happening with this trend and the reasoning behind the laws and expectations that combined to produce it.

Wahgwan the people who make an impact on the world become billionaires. That is fair. Working your ass off only effects youbut impacting the world the way billionaires do effects everyone. When you do something that effects everyone, you make more money. In summary, if you want to be rich, you have to do something for the world, not yourself. Working your ass off doesn’t do anything for the world.

Nobody is being kept poor. We all have a choice. People who remain poor make bad decisions and don't have the knowledge that is needed to make good decisions. Buying avocado toast is not a good decision. Buying cigarettes is also not a good decision. Investing your money is a good decision and it is how a lot of people get rich. You have to do your research though to get rich in investing because it is not easy and it takes a long time to become rich.
