I remember when Poncha would do this for his video on mods! Jokes aside, I like the fact that Warhammer finally gets some attention (Dawn of War was popular but nothing on par with Total War & Vermintide).
This is exactly what I was thinking! I think it was a really good idea to do that sort of thing from a different perspective and I hope others take a cue from that. I hope we can get more games from other parts of the franchise that have different art styles to fit the perspectives. While my main army might be Space Wolves that doesn't mean I wouldn't want games featuring the Tau or Eldar as main players and give us some stories through their eyes.

I'v added several other primarchs flagships in my mod (skalgrim mod). Magnus the reds Photep, Mortarions Endurance and so on. Its not really adding primarchs per say though. Only DoW1 has mods with playable primarchs to my knowledge.

Played the original Chaos Gate on a mega slow IBM Thinkpad while hopping flights...the whole entire scene has changed since and was actually going to skip investing time in a turn based Grey Knights reboot (why would we want turn based for a chapter that's primarily melee) until I heard that magic acronym: ADB🏆🏆🏆 If you haven't read The First Heretic and The Night Lords Omnibus, you need to do that immediately so you can understand why no WH40K fan should ever walk off on anything he touches. Was on the fence with Darktide, I haven't played Necromunda yet and wanted to get that under my belt first, but with Abnett on board, nah I can't walk off on that one either, 100% sure the plot alone will be worth the time investment, praying any launch bugs will be rectified within the first two weeks so we can enjoy the experience in full🙏🏼
I know there great and all and I enjoy some of them greatly but warhammer is such an amazing setting for so many other games other than turn based strategy games like as janky as it was necromunda was a blast and dark tide looks amazing warhammer has so much potential and the fact that it’s best games are games from 2000 or below mediocre shooters is sad
I’d really like to see a massive multiplayer game like Battlefield, but 40K. With that MMO with the name I forgot being taken off the Market, I could really use another Warhammer Multiplayer shooter

Yeah, vermintide was a mess on launch. People got crashes constantly on regular rigs and good rigs every 2-3 games it looked like. Forums were filled with people trying to figure out what was going on. I gave up after a bit because crashes were even worse then solo games for me and my friends.
I honestly want something that let's me play as Necrons in a more action/shoot game, though something that is a squad rts like DoW 2 for small scale kill team style games would be fun. I am tired of turn based games
GWs rarely caters to its non imperium fanbase, so playing as any kind of xenos as the main protagonist barely happens. Hence why im exsited for shootas blood & teef

You mean the fake Grey Knights being dressed up as Grey Knights? What's the one thing that they Grey Knights are known for? If you answered that question with all of them being Psykers then you would be correct, every single piece of gameplay they've shown of the game, not once do they show them using Psychic powers it's all brute force, these are not Grey Knights if they are just brute forcing their way through every combat scenario.

I'm concerned that a mobile shovelware developer is developing their first PC title and it's a Warhammer 40k game Chaos Gate Demon Hunters. That's a lot of red flags.
looking at shootas blood and teef i think its a perfect way to not take warhammer way to seriously people have a habit of forgetting how stupid some of the world actually is chaos gate however i am curious but not to excited its another turnbased game we are fighting nurgle again (kinda tired of nurgle with vermintide and darktide is gonna have him aswell) but we will see what time brings

I've been there when V1 turned over into V2. Do not let the 'hype' from how 'good' V2 is doing apply to Darktide. Fatshark excel at suddenly doing a 180 and un-learning all they learned from their previous project. V2 didn't just have a few bugs, half the game was borderline missing, or nonfunctional, and what was there was held together with straw. That's after V1 ended up in a really good spot, and you'd think surely a game using most of V1's content wouldn't be a shitshow - yet guess what, it was. And Darktide can't even port half the assets from the previous game.

Cant agree more, especially the part about unlearning lessons from their previous game. V1 ended up with a pretty cool crafting, itemisation and daily quest system, 3 things that v2 flat out DIDNT get at release and even today is extremly subpart comparted to its predecessor. Hell they still cant make a talent tree that isnt a total snoozfest to this day.
Only got Vermintide 2 years later, with plenty of extra content for no money at all, atleast for me even full price would've been well worth it. Though I had No idea the actual launch was complete shit..
Still waiting for a Deathwatch version of Vermintide. The setting is perfect for it. Your character can be any loyalist chapter, you get virtually unrestricted access to the best wargear the imperium has to offer and the Deathwatch was literally created for the "send a small team to win a war" concept. And none of this "feel vulnerable" crap. I'm vulnerable enough in real life, I prefer to be an Astartes powerhouse in my escapism 😋

Dan Abnett is who I assume you're referring to (he's working on Darktide) and I have no issues or concerns with him; his work on the franchise is top notch.

Yuuuuup. It really shows a lack of interest for the actual lore and story here, before people even try, no, space marines don't just get "demoted" from captain to lieutenant because of some inquisitorial bullshit, ESPECIALLY not people from the bloody Ultramarine chapter. Also, the other big red flag that people NEED to keep in mind is that this is NOT a sequel made by the people that made the first game, its a different team from a different company from a different publisher. Don't get blinded by brand recognition and just treat it as a totally different new game without any ties to the previous Space Marine game. Hell, if you want ANOTHER red flag here it is: the game has SUSPICIOUSLY omitted to get a steam page after its announcement, which is HIGHLY unusual and HEAVILY hint at the fact that they are going to go Epic Exclusive, or at least heavily considering it.
Primaris and the *interesting* choice of lead writer makes me way iffy on Space Marine 2. Generally anything Primaris is vile, but they're not even filtering the dev cadre. Besides it'll run like balls on PC.

This whole Super-Mariney-Super-Marine just killed the franchise for me. GW was supposed to *go back in time and forward with the technology* , like go back to the time of the Crusade or the Heresy. Not go forward with the story while giving us the *equivalent of a Miata for a space marine* ... You want to bring back the Primarchs? Great! Go Back in time with the story, this way you don't have to pull absurd BS out of somebody's coked up brain to how GurlyMan somehow came back to life or some shit thanks to the Eldary because reasons. And Would it FUCKING KILL their marketing team to give us something else other than space smurfs? I mean imagine a game with the Lamenters: you're in deep space, on a penance crusade for what happened at Badab, Munitorum ain't giving you even the rustiest of bolters, Ad Mech is screeching at you in binary, your luck is historically made of utter shit .... and BLAM you're in the middle of a Tyrannid fleet's advance... Good luck! Edit: Space Marine should have featured the Lamenters. Fight me!
honestly, the more we don't hear *anything* about Darktide since the delay in July, I'm less and less optimistic. Fatshark is now under Tencent, who usually don't release unfinished, broken stuff, but we'll see. Vermintide 2 itself, almost 4 years later is faaaar from a perfect game.
Ill be that guy and say that every patch and dlc post release actually made the game worst. From breaking the balance to adding grossly overpowered classes or garbage maps that people actively avoid, or even game mod that nobody asked for ans even less people actually played, FS failed at every single opportunity they got. Hell they couldnt even do the most basic thing right that you would think theyll put a bit more effort into, like making sure they release cosmetic regularly to milk whales.

I hope that some studio will be encouraged to continue creating pure 40k warhammer RTS as DOW. I have nothing against genres like tactical, turn-based, FPS, RPG, etc. A good, pure and modern RTS of warhammer 40k and even "fantasy" would be great.
Won't happen anytime soon. The industry, once again, regards pure RTS as a dead, archaic piece of ancient, useless software, while they themself are the reason, the actually latest high profile entries failed so hard. WC3:RF and DOW3 are great examples for it. They do not take RTS serious anymore as they see the big numbers MOBAs, Survival-Crafting, Hero-Shooters and Battle Royals were pulling (partially several years back but the industry ALWAYS is 5 to 10 years behind what the players actually want right now, until some indie stumbles over it and revives it, pulling the big boys in, which 1. come late and 2. botch it again) and went full "Yay! Get stuff like this done! Lots of hype, we be rich! wohooo trend-chase-mode engaged!" Another reason I don't really think RTS is coming back anytime soon: Age Of Empires IV One of the, if not even THE highest profile RTS-games for many gamers growing up in the 90th and what happened? It released to pretty positive reviews and player numbers still look fine but ... it didn't really 'bleed' into anything else. It was a short "Oh hey, it'S there!" and since then, if you'Re not actually in the AoE bubble, specifically looking for it ... you wouldn't even know that it has released. They failed so hard with making a 'splash' that I actually had to check, just now, if it already released and how it is regarded as right now xD And last but not least ... they fucked up RTSs in such a huge regard over the last decade, that there are several DOZEN of them, which are not even really worth mentioning them. The One I was most disappointed in was Iron Harvest. The IÜ was great, a lot of the idead in it too ... but hey, actual classic RTS are waaaay to demanding on the poor, poor player, so they dumped it down, made it smaller and just developed a mediocre squad based isometric shooter (same reason I never really was able to get into DOW2 ... it's just 'not enough'. The complexity of the game and the engagement it porovides would have been interesting for me some time around 5. or maybe 6. grade but not 25 years later *g*)

GW is actually micromanaging the publishing every time, therefor even if 1 + 2 wouldn't be a thing, it wouldn't be an indie anymore :D

Looking forward to Space Marines 2 & Darktide. Wouldn't mind a game like Diablo/POE styled game but in WHO40k universe. One can only dream. Even a competitive pvp gears style third person.

I'm not to exited for chaos gate, got burned out on turn based strategy and the devs doing their first game on pc makes me hesitant Really looking forward to Shootas. Having played guns gore & cannoli and thoroughly enjoyed them I think it will be fun to play with the boys, but not a masterpiece. Not sure what to make of SM2 honestly. The devs and everything are different, so who knows how it will turn out. Looked good at first glance, but I made that mistake with a certain other game before which shall not be named. Don't care for warhammer 3, the races don't interest me (except ogres), so I'll stick to 1 & 2 until it's on sale. Darktide we'll see, I like the premise but I recall there was a lot wrong with V2 at launch, so I'll probably wait for that one.
Darktide needs to be GRIM AND DARK, we need to feel like feeble humans, we need to be able to die EASILY if we try to split up. It need BLOOD AND GUTS, I want to die in the most gruesome ways possible. And they need to change those characters into FOUR REGULAR GUARDMENS not that big dumbass clunky character that just makes the game look silly and fucking dumb, those creators need to focus on the realism of it all not try and shove diversity among the characters where it dont belong. We need to feel UNSPECIAL, and feel like a unit not four characters that feel like gods because "they are the main characters" we need to feel LIKE A COG IN THE MACHINE.
Total War 40K!!!!!!!!!!!! Imagine an entire Battlefield of Astartes fighting Necron waves. Buildings collapse as Dreadnaughts crash through them. Tyrannid Carnifex fighting Squiqoffs! Be nice watching a giant Necron Battle Overhead And you get to paint them. Must be included! (Gold paint as DLC, o God no! Forget it)
Darktide might be fun, Shootas, Blood & Teef too, but def awaiting Space Marine 2 with the most anticipation. Glad to hear you have a retrospective on the first game.

Darktide and Space Marine 2 are my most hyped games. Couple mates and I have gotten back into Space Marine 1, slaughtering greenskins and just getting all our achievements done up.
By 'the first appearance of a Primarch in game', you mean as a unit by themselves, right? Because Guilliman was in Battlefleet Gothic 2, though only as captain of his ship.

something I am kinda sad about is that there are no detailed games where you play as any of the xenos races, I would love to see a big game focusing on maybe an ork boy, working his way up to becoming a nob, then a mega nob and then eventually a warboss, I can imagine an endless amount of game mechanics, one of them being as you get bigger and stronger the other boyz will start to listen to you more and do what you tell them, a stormboy or a shoota boy isn't gonna listen to a slugga boy yelling at him to do something, but they would listen to a nob or warboss, another thing could be on the spot weapon customization, you can pick up weapons from enemies as you go and when the battle is done, take them to a mekboy and get yourself some betta dakka, depending on what weapons you get you could upgrade to certain things, grabbing a flamer would let you make a combi flamer onto your shoota and other such things, you could even get a squad of boys and kit them all out differently and swap to them depending on what you need, you could have a mekboy to do on the spot weapons jobs and build crude defences and weapons platforms, a painboy to keep the boyz fightin, a few stormboyz for causing distractions and flushing out defended positions, flame boyz for trenches and bunkers, tank killas for anti vehicle, you could even have a few ammo runts and grot orderlies, not as swappable characters but to give orders, pain boyz can order an orderly to go fix up a boy while he fixes up another, yell out for an ammo and a runt will drag over a box for you to restock from, mekboyz could even tell gretchin to fix up a barricade or fix a jammed gun, even dive into an engine of a vehicle to fix it, but probably killing the gretchin in the process, there would be no respawns either, either you win the battle or die tryin, then you either pick up from a boy all the way at the bottom or take command of the highest ranking ork left of your team, I reckon that'd be an amazing idea for an ork game
I really hope we're fighting more than just tyranids in Space Marine 2. I liked fighting Orks because they have character and Chaos guys looked badass. Tyranids ain't either. They're just mindless hordes.
Likely will. it'll have a twist like the first game. it was orks for the first half of the game, then you get invaded by chaos. likely similar will happen again.
i fucking hope not... tyranids and genestealer cults have such a huge variety of units that focus should be put purely on them... no same stupid twist for the second time with another faction appearing. Tyranids are the most dangerous, badass and powerful faction in lore... we just need whole campaign focusing on them. I dont want two bareboned factions with minimal varity and only a fraction of units from canon like in first game where nor orks not chaos was properly used.
I started with hope and as soon as you say chaos gate at 5 I gave up. I mean chaos gate was 1 of best wh40k ip games ever along with final liberation and you put at 5 because "people are getting bored with turn base" HELL NAWH
I put it as 5 simply because it could not over rule darktide, total war warhammer and space marine 2. Not because I think it will do bad. Plus I like the turn based warhammer games. They just need to be good.
OH MY GOD! SHOOTAS, BLOOD & TEEF IS MADE BY THE CANOLI GUYS?! Gonna be an amazing story with good gameplay. I wasn't a fan of the artstyle until I heard who was making it, now I am totally on board.
@@PonchaYT Not just that but that company has a very clear origin in cartoons since Guns, Gore & Canolis was original a student animated short film done by the creators (very good, you should watch). It looks like an excellent piece of 40k media that should help liven up the grimdark setting, almost throwing back to the classic era of 40k where there was more color and ol' beakies were the norm.
Shootas, blood & teef looks like a lot of fun. Fits the orks very well. Just running and gunning mindlessly with explosions left and right. And yes, Space Marines 2 and Darktide are must buys.
For Chaos Gate, you can tell the team got their start with mobile games. The art style and UI layout just screams "mobile game". I hope they touch up the graphics and art style a bit before release. The game I'm looking forward to the most of Dark Tide. Been following it ever since it was announced. So excited to finally play as a guardsman in an FPS.
yeah it reminds me f that port of the space wolves card game/turn based mash up. that's actually an alright game TBH, but you can tell it used to be a mobile game by the GFX.
Compared to the original it's horribly botchedi nterms of art direction and also in terms of publishing practices, as they stuffed Denuvo on to it. I haven't pirated a game since Steam is 'a thing' except the ones coming with anti-piracy-bloat/spy/malware but I just don't agree with the fact, that I as a customer, have to pay for anti-piracy-bullshit that just doesn't work xD And the irony is ... with those I did pirate because of Denuvo, most of the time I was still able to play it within the first week of launch *g*
Checked my steam library looking for Space Marine (Anniversary edition in my library) BUT it's now $60 for an 11-year-old game, which is more than what I originally paid for it ($50)
I want a first person space marine game that has good melee mechanics like in chivalry or mordau with nice and punchy guns. Imagine a level where you get to purge the shit out of a hoard of tyranids, or maybe you could be a world eater and just spill blood for the blood god.

Yeah, vermintide was a mess on launch. People got crashes constantly on regular rigs and good rigs every 2-3 games it looked like. Forums were filled with people trying to figure out what was going on. I gave up after a bit because crashes were even worse then solo games for me and my friends.
I love vermintide 2, it's my most played game on steam...

I've been there when V1 turned over into V2. Do not let the 'hype' from how 'good' V2 is doing apply to Darktide. Fatshark excel at suddenly doing a 180 and un-learning all they learned from their previous project. V2 didn't just have a few bugs, half the game was borderline missing, or nonfunctional, and what was there was held together with straw. That's after V1 ended up in a really good spot, and you'd think surely a game using most of V1's content wouldn't be a shitshow - yet guess what, it was.
And Darktide can't even port half the assets from the previous game.

V1 ended up with a pretty cool crafting, itemisation and daily quest system, 3 things that v2 flat out DIDNT get at release and even today is extremly subpart comparted to its predecessor.
Hell they still cant make a talent tree that isnt a total snoozfest to this day.
Only got Vermintide 2 years later, with plenty of extra content for no money at all, atleast for me even full price would've been well worth it. Though I had No idea the actual launch was complete shit..

The setting is perfect for it. Your character can be any loyalist chapter, you get virtually unrestricted access to the best wargear the imperium has to offer and the Deathwatch was literally created for the "send a small team to win a war" concept. And none of this "feel vulnerable" crap. I'm vulnerable enough in real life, I prefer to be an Astartes powerhouse in my escapism 😋

No, that was Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2, where Roboute Guilliman commands the Macragge's Honour, which is a playable unit in MP and the Imperium campaign. He also acts as an enemy in the Chaos, Tyranid, and Necron (I think) stories.
To me, the fact titus is a primaris lieutenant is a gigantic red flag. And with what GW did the last two years (2021 and 2020) I am worried.

It really shows a lack of interest for the actual lore and story here, before people even try, no, space marines don't just get "demoted" from captain to lieutenant because of some inquisitorial bullshit, ESPECIALLY not people from the bloody Ultramarine chapter.
Also, the other big red flag that people NEED to keep in mind is that this is NOT a sequel made by the people that made the first game, its a different team from a different company from a different publisher. Don't get blinded by brand recognition and just treat it as a totally different new game without any ties to the previous Space Marine game.
Hell, if you want ANOTHER red flag here it is: the game has SUSPICIOUSLY omitted to get a steam page after its announcement, which is HIGHLY unusual and HEAVILY hint at the fact that they are going to go Epic Exclusive, or at least heavily considering it.

Primaris and the *interesting* choice of lead writer makes me way iffy on Space Marine 2. Generally anything Primaris is vile, but they're not even filtering the dev cadre. Besides it'll run like balls on PC.

honestly, the more we don't hear *anything* about Darktide since the delay in July, I'm less and less optimistic. Fatshark is now under Tencent, who usually don't release unfinished, broken stuff, but we'll see. Vermintide 2 itself, almost 4 years later is faaaar from a perfect game.
Ill be that guy and say that every patch and dlc post release actually made the game worst.
From breaking the balance to adding grossly overpowered classes or garbage maps that people actively avoid, or even game mod that nobody asked for ans even less people actually played, FS failed at every single opportunity they got.
Hell they couldnt even do the most basic thing right that you would think theyll put a bit more effort into, like making sure they release cosmetic regularly to milk whales.

I hope that some studio will be encouraged to continue creating pure 40k warhammer RTS as DOW. I have nothing against genres like tactical, turn-based, FPS, RPG, etc. A good, pure and modern RTS of warhammer 40k and even "fantasy" would be great.
Won't happen anytime soon.
The industry, once again, regards pure RTS as a dead, archaic piece of ancient, useless software, while they themself are the reason, the actually latest high profile entries failed so hard.
WC3:RF and DOW3 are great examples for it. They do not take RTS serious anymore as they see the big numbers MOBAs, Survival-Crafting, Hero-Shooters and Battle Royals were pulling (partially several years back but the industry ALWAYS is 5 to 10 years behind what the players actually want right now, until some indie stumbles over it and revives it, pulling the big boys in, which 1. come late and 2. botch it again) and went full "Yay! Get stuff like this done! Lots of hype, we be rich! wohooo trend-chase-mode engaged!"
Another reason I don't really think RTS is coming back anytime soon: Age Of Empires IV
One of the, if not even THE highest profile RTS-games for many gamers growing up in the 90th and what happened? It released to pretty positive reviews and player numbers still look fine but ... it didn't really 'bleed' into anything else. It was a short "Oh hey, it'S there!" and since then, if you'Re not actually in the AoE bubble, specifically looking for it ... you wouldn't even know that it has released.
They failed so hard with making a 'splash' that I actually had to check, just now, if it already released and how it is regarded as right now xD
And last but not least ... they fucked up RTSs in such a huge regard over the last decade, that there are several DOZEN of them, which are not even really worth mentioning them. The One I was most disappointed in was Iron Harvest. The IÜ was great, a lot of the idead in it too ... but hey, actual classic RTS are waaaay to demanding on the poor, poor player, so they dumped it down, made it smaller and just developed a mediocre squad based isometric shooter (same reason I never really was able to get into DOW2 ... it's just 'not enough'. The complexity of the game and the engagement it porovides would have been interesting for me some time around 5. or maybe 6. grade but not 25 years later *g*)

Really looking forward to Shootas. Having played guns gore & cannoli and thoroughly enjoyed them I think it will be fun to play with the boys, but not a masterpiece.
Not sure what to make of SM2 honestly. The devs and everything are different, so who knows how it will turn out. Looked good at first glance, but I made that mistake with a certain other game before which shall not be named.
Don't care for warhammer 3, the races don't interest me (except ogres), so I'll stick to 1 & 2 until it's on sale.

Darktide needs to be GRIM AND DARK, we need to feel like feeble humans, we need to be able to die EASILY if we try to split up. It need BLOOD AND GUTS, I want to die in the most gruesome ways possible. And they need to change those characters into FOUR REGULAR GUARDMENS not that big dumbass clunky character that just makes the game look silly and fucking dumb, those creators need to focus on the realism of it all not try and shove diversity among the characters where it dont belong. We need to feel UNSPECIAL, and feel like a unit not four characters that feel like gods because "they are the main characters" we need to feel LIKE A COG IN THE MACHINE.

something I am kinda sad about is that there are no detailed games where you play as any of the xenos races, I would love to see a big game focusing on maybe an ork boy, working his way up to becoming a nob, then a mega nob and then eventually a warboss, I can imagine an endless amount of game mechanics, one of them being as you get bigger and stronger the other boyz will start to listen to you more and do what you tell them, a stormboy or a shoota boy isn't gonna listen to a slugga boy yelling at him to do something, but they would listen to a nob or warboss, another thing could be on the spot weapon customization, you can pick up weapons from enemies as you go and when the battle is done, take them to a mekboy and get yourself some betta dakka, depending on what weapons you get you could upgrade to certain things, grabbing a flamer would let you make a combi flamer onto your shoota and other such things, you could even get a squad of boys and kit them all out differently and swap to them depending on what you need, you could have a mekboy to do on the spot weapons jobs and build crude defences and weapons platforms, a painboy to keep the boyz fightin, a few stormboyz for causing distractions and flushing out defended positions, flame boyz for trenches and bunkers, tank killas for anti vehicle, you could even have a few ammo runts and grot orderlies, not as swappable characters but to give orders, pain boyz can order an orderly to go fix up a boy while he fixes up another, yell out for an ammo and a runt will drag over a box for you to restock from, mekboyz could even tell gretchin to fix up a barricade or fix a jammed gun, even dive into an engine of a vehicle to fix it, but probably killing the gretchin in the process, there would be no respawns either, either you win the battle or die tryin, then you either pick up from a boy all the way at the bottom or take command of the highest ranking ork left of your team, I reckon that'd be an amazing idea for an ork game

I really hope we're fighting more than just tyranids in Space Marine 2. I liked fighting Orks because they have character and Chaos guys looked badass. Tyranids ain't either. They're just mindless hordes.
Maybe the tyranid were lured there by another fraction we haven't seen yet, like eldar?
There aren't many other factions, either it will be Orks again if that thing is close to Octarius, Necrons if it's a Tomb World, or Eldar.

i fucking hope not... tyranids and genestealer cults have such a huge variety of units that focus should be put purely on them... no same stupid twist for the second time with another faction appearing. Tyranids are the most dangerous, badass and powerful faction in lore... we just need whole campaign focusing on them. I dont want two bareboned factions with minimal varity and only a fraction of units from canon like in first game where nor orks not chaos was properly used.

It looks like an excellent piece of 40k media that should help liven up the grimdark setting, almost throwing back to the classic era of 40k where there was more color and ol' beakies were the norm.

yeah it reminds me f that port of the space wolves card game/turn based mash up. that's actually an alright game TBH, but you can tell it used to be a mobile game by the GFX.
Compared to the original it's horribly botchedi nterms of art direction and also in terms of publishing practices, as they stuffed Denuvo on to it.
I haven't pirated a game since Steam is 'a thing' except the ones coming with anti-piracy-bloat/spy/malware but I just don't agree with the fact, that I as a customer, have to pay for anti-piracy-bullshit that just doesn't work xD
And the irony is ... with those I did pirate because of Denuvo, most of the time I was still able to play it within the first week of launch *g*

Checked my steam library looking for Space Marine (Anniversary edition in my library) BUT it's now $60 for an 11-year-old game, which is more than what I originally paid for it ($50)
To be honest it's all in all a pretty poor line up
I want a first person space marine game that has good melee mechanics like in chivalry or mordau with nice and punchy guns. Imagine a level where you get to purge the shit out of a hoard of tyranids, or maybe you could be a world eater and just spill blood for the blood god.
Won't lie, a hyperviolent FPS as a Khorne Berzerker or (better yet) Eversor Assassin is something I've wanted for ages.
