  • Video getting the Prevost H3-45 Bus Coach RV ready for a quick weekend camping trip, traveling 2hrs there, tour around the rv park and then our journey back topping off the fuel tank. While on our second night, the park lost power but we didn't even notice for a few hours afterward due to the Lithium and Victron Inverter Power System thats installed.

    Man, I love the way you guys make the videos, that's the way a video about a Bus Rv especially a Prevost RV should be done(that's my opinion), unlike some famous youtubers that instead of recording the bus and everything inside and especially the road as you do while driving(I especially love when you record the road while driving, it gives the sensation of being there also watching the road and driving that amazingly beautiful Bus) naaah the only thing they put in camera is 90 - 95% of their videos is about their faces, thank you for making better videos than them... I think that if you put in every video you make, the title starting with the words Prevost rv bus and then the rest of the title you'll get way more views, a lot of RV lovers love this type of videos

      Thank you - you and some others are the ones I put these out for - it’s nice to get good feedback (good, bad and constructive). I’ll have to play with the key words for sure. I believe the other factor is a thumbs up and watch time. Some viewers are out in 2 minutes, others stay the entire length. Makes since though, if viewers are out in less than 2 minutes - video probably sucks - stop promoting it. It’s tough doing these - sometimes I just can’t get the footage I want because I’m only 1 person - sometimes I get lazy, sometimes forget altogether enjoying the experience myself! lol. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      @@CampPrevost, look, your videos are very good, ideas are born when we dare to dream as when we were children fearless to talk about our dreams, keep on going in your videos, and ask for ideas from your kids who are about the same age as mine... you will be surprised when you dare to dream as when you were an innocent child, God bless you and your family and if you have problems dreaming again, allow me to recommend the same thing that helps me feel alive again, The book that is called the bible decoded by many, Zohar Ha Kadosh 23 book set in English instead of the original language that Jesus Christ, Sir Isaac Newton wouldn't be Sir Isaac Newton today if he didn't have the Zohar Ha Kadosh with him, try to find out is hidden knowledge that saved my life, God Bless you and your family every time I see you and your family I dream of my self also traveling with my family, thank you so much for feeding our dreams

      Thanks! I’ve been wondering how to do it. Would be neat to have people inside, outside and a drone - then combo it. Wonder about the road too - would be neat to have side by side - probably need close to a mile to hit 60! Lol

    I would love to have lithium batteries and dual Victron inverters. Right now we just have a single Magnum 2600 watt converter with 8 AGM batteries. It is definitely screaming for an upgrade.

    • @CampPrevost
      @CampPrevost  Рік тому +2

      I’d leave it alone until needed. Tech and prices are changing all the time. Probably get a plan on what and how though - I came home one day and found all my 8D’s split - that’s why mine changed. Another time I plugged into a park and my (4) outback’s quit. That’s why I now have the dual Victrons. Still probably be thinking about it if it all worked. It’s fun though if you have the time.

      My twin brother said those components suck. It’s usually the connector or sensor that go bad and are really cheap and easy to replace. I need to have him over to fix it - lol!

      When we changed the brakes we wiggled the wires - still on. Must be a bad sensor

    Is your unit for sale? I keep seeing one listed that I’m pretty sure is yours. I love it the layout with the double front couch. Have you ever considered converting the rear closet into bunks? One of the draws I have is with 2 kids it would be easy to convert yours into a bunk model!

    • @CampPrevost
      @CampPrevost  Рік тому

      Thought about it - but the rear closet isn’t that deep - but wouldn’t need much for kids. Remove the two cabinets, install a platform for a bunk bed, get a custom mattress or foam mattress and it would be done!

    Nice setup you have built. Did you turn the negative busbar of the server rack upside down, so plus out cable and negative one are diagonal to each other for equal charge and discharge. It's crucial to be that way so the batteries stay equal

      @@CampPrevost When traveling in the hotter climates like Texas and anywhere along I-20 and I-10 in the southern region during the summer months, the batteries will only go so far with 4 x 13,500 btu or 4 x 15,000 btu units, so the 20kW generator is a part of life and well worth it.

    • @CampPrevost
      @CampPrevost  Рік тому

      @@imike0367 yeah they wouldn’t last long running all 4! When we do travel in the heat, we usually run the front rooftop AC and the front driver passenger ac and it does just fine. At that load, my WS500 controls my alternator to cover the power use. It will power 2 but haven’t had to run both front rooftop AC’s. I only run my generator now because it needs to be run every now and then. I still get about 1000-1200 watts from my solar too. Thanks for watching and all the comments!
