That mini Aerin bottle is SO CUTE! When I saw you talking about Amber Musk I pulled out my long neglected sample bottle (a vial, nothing nearly as cute as your mini!) and wow...what a beautiful scent! It’s so soft and comforting. So happy that you find doing your videos a necessity, because I really enjoy them, they are always a lovely outlet.I noticed that with the Be layered fragrances they dont list the notes, I wonder if many companies that list their notes are really listing all of them. Many times you smell a fragrance and you swear you can smell a note for ex: honey, but its not listed. I dont have a lot of amber fragrances, mostly vanilla with amber, always something new to try. Thanks for sharing these beauties!!!
I wonder if the staying power of your Aerin picks has to do with the specific formulations - I own Tangier Vanille from them, and it's such a strong one that I have to remember to only spray it once! It's a gorgeous, dry, intoxicating amber-vanilla. I would be interested to hear what you think of some of their other fragrances, such as Ikat Jasmine, Hibiscus Palm, or Iris Meadow. Xx
A vintage scent i love for the amber and roses combo is Tocade. I have two old formulation bottles with very dark juice and they are magnificent. The new formulation is not half as round,warm and complex as the old formulation. Still a affordable sweet roses and amber scent

FINALLY someone acknowledged the fabulousness that is Halston Amber Woman!! I love the chypre heavy Halston EDP but I didn't know there was an AMBER until about a month ago!!! I quickly bought one & last week purchased a backup!! LM Ambre Vanille is another recent discovery at my TJMaxx's & have a few of those. Just so fab for the fall/winter! I do have L'eau D'amber in my cartS as well as the Histoires 114 so I can't wait to try those, too! Thank you for the AMBER only video!!

I do like the OG white floral Truth or Dare which is a dupe for Fracas, which I also love.
I just got a vintage Youth Dew Amber. It’s Amber and cinammon. Love it. Perfect for fall, Christmas. Love it so much, I got a second bottle on eBay just now. It’s strong and lovely. I am enveloped with one spray.
I really love Alien Essence absolute.
I scoured the Internet and bought a few, now expensive bottles. So will treasure them.
I will need to look for Youth Dew Amber. That sounds amazing! ❤️🥰
I am so excited...I just picked up Armani Si Le Parfum from FragranceNet. I have wanted this perfume for some time, but it was sold out last time I looked and I couldn't find it for under $150 anywhere reputable. Thank you so much for the heads up!

You should get your nose on Amber Desire from Carolina Herrera’a private collection. It is divine! I have E. Saab essence no 3 Amber. I love it. Very potent but sweet at the same time.

Hi Sarah, your passion for perfume is so contagious😊 You know, one amber that is your typical sweet golden, slightly resinous scent but in a very modern way, airy but not weak . It's the Gentle Fluidity Gold MFK 😍😍

Hi Sarah, a great video, amber is one of my favourite notes, I absolutely love Sexy Amber, one of my all time favourite perfumes, I also like the Aerin Amber Musk but it is over priced, I find the Frederic Mahora dupe is just as good for a fraction of the cost. Nikki UK x
Hi Nikki! I totally agree about Amber Musk and all Aerin fragrances for that matter. They are way overpriced for what they are and they don't last at all. I will have to check out the alternative you listed! ❤️🥰🙏🏻

Thanks!- I'm into ambers right now, too. I just got a decant of MFK Grand Soir which an expensive but simple, classic amber. I wonder of Gaultier 2 is a Grand Soir dupe, because Francis K. often dupes his own creations, and your description sounds like Grand Soir. Anyway, I also just got a bottle of L'Erbolario's Ambraliquida which is a beautiful and more affordable amber that is not like a lot of other ambers. Ambraliquida dries powdery and smells very classy and Italian. I had a bottle of Michael Kors Sexy Amber but I gave it away because I got tired of it because it just wasn't interesting to me.
Hi Christine! I have the Dua version of Grand Soir called Crater and I just compared it to Gaultier 2. They are definitely similar but Gaultier 2 is sweeter, probably due to the vanilla. They are both worth having though, IMHO.

Some fossilized tree resin ambers can technically be considered one note, but they're rarely used (if ever) in mainstream perfumery. They're also pretty animalic and don't smell anything like the amber accords we're used to that involve blending labdanum, vanilla and benzoin. But once you get into naturals, it's a whole different ball game. I've been getting back into Ambre 114 too!

I have Madonna’s perfumes and prefer the Nude as well- it’s so easy to wear, a good everyday not offensive spray😊 I love and have Armani Le Parfum but it lasts an hour in me and then is a powdery amber🤷♀️

Hey Sarah, what was the one u showed comparing to TODN? L'eau Ambre? Nevermind, lol. My fave note is Amber, along w/vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg n earthy type scents. I love Ambre 114 n Ambre Passion n I think they smell so Similar. I have Gaultier 2 n love it, have 2 backups lol. Love the video!
Unfortunately neither you nor I will ever smell Madonna's new fragrance. She only sold 400 bottles at $250 a bottle. It sold out in minutes. 😣 As usual I don't know what she was thinking. I'm a huge fan of her music but she never thinks about her fans sometimes.

Hi there!! I feel like vanilla fixes anything. If you have a single note vanilla that is more of a dry vanilla than sweet that may help to take the edge off. 💗

Hi there! After doing a little research it looks like the closest dupe is La Vie Est Belle from Lancome? I see a lot of bottles for sale on eBay but people want a lot of money for them. I think the least expensive one was $65. You could probably find LVEB for less. I hope that helps!!

The way you describe L'eau D'ambre Extreme sounds very different from L'eau D'ambre, which to me smelt more like old books. Is it really that different?
I am not sure as I haven’t smelled the original but I could see someone thinking it smells like old books. Mine has a touch of sweetness to it which keeps it from smelling dusty to me. 💕

Hi there!! I have had it in the past and it is nice but not my favorite. It has a pretty strong fig note in it and I really like fig but there was something about it that didn't sit great on my skin. A ton of people really love it though.
