Hey Sarah, I really like your video! It's awesome to see you still have Halston Woman Amber. I actually figured out a way to layer it with the La Rive dupe of Good Girl and it's really nice with that. I think any 'floriental' would work well. Thanks for sharing 😁

I need to be in the mood for amber. I usually enjoy amber fragrances for Winter. My favourites are Ambre d'Alexandrie, l'Eau d'ambre extreme, Clandestine Clara and Ambre nuit 🥰

Hey Sarah x this was such a relaxing video. Amber isn't really a note that I'm drawn to generally, but this season I've dipped my toes in. My current favourite is Kisses Rain by Renier. An Almondy Amber with Cardamom and a gourmand touch. Beautiful! I know you would love it. ❤

Next to vanilla Amber is one of my favorite notes I feel like these two can fix or enhance any fragrance even make a stinky one smell pretty decent lol 😆 tfs 🙏🏼

I’d love to see you review Arabian Oud’s Kalemat (if you haven’t already?) this is classed as an Amber fragrance - had my eye on it for an AGE, the notes sound really Sarah Mayes to me.

Sarah, Love that you did a video showcasing amber!! It’s a favorite note of my as well. I purchased Halston Women Amber over a year ago after you talked about it. I love it!! I also have the Madonna Truth or Dare Naked and the Gap White Amber. I purchased the gap from Fragrancenet last month. They don’t have it anymore but FragranceX has it for $17.84 for 3.3oz tester. I love the gap one but haven’t opened the Madonna one yet because I bought it in the summer. As soon as it gets cold I’m going to give it a go! Thanks so much for doing this video! Thank you for all the recomendations perfume wise, I`d definitely get a couple of them if possible like for instance the Carner Barcelona- Ambar del Sur, Salvador Dali-Sunrise in Cadaques and La artisan Leau de Ambre extreme, maybe a couple depending on the prices. I think you`d also give a make up tutorial since your make up is stunning and many of us would love to see it and even try on ourselves. Thank you dear for the lovely recomendations

She is right: Histoires de Parfums, "Ambre 114", is stunning. Not only does this brand make amazing fragrances, but their prices are very good, especially since these are niche scents. I love the thyme note in "Ambre 114".

Hi Marlena! If you want you can check out my other channel. I post a chatty GRWM on it once a week and you can see what I am using. I try to film most of my videos for the week in that makeup so that when people ask I can point them there. I can tell you I use a lot of Colourpop though. They are some of my favorite shadows. 🥰❤️🙏🏻

I was going to say Boyfriend original was perhaps the only amber I own and wear in full bottles. I am so glad you like it too! In fact, I have 2 backups and was selling one on Mercari, but now I am thinking the better of it. I have decants of Ambre Narguile (I didn't do well at all with the DUA dupe as you may recall, haha) and I own a half bottle of the Madonna Naked but that's it. I need to try more ambers!

I reach for my Nasomatto Black Afgano, Nemat Musk Amber , and Agatha Blois Black Amber the most
Nemat makes good quality oils. They have a Nag Champa scent that is yummy.
Aveda Chakra Blends I love to touch up with since they don't last long on their own.
Child is my favorite realistic jasmine scent for hotter weather.

I think it would be quite interesting what perfumes you have worn throughout the years - and from the first time you wore a perfume. My first perfume was 4711 Cologne - the OG. I still have a bottle of this for sentimental reason.

Hi Heather!! Another great Myrrh fragrance is Mia’s Blend by Be Layered. It’s a dupe of Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka and it is beautiful. 🥰❤️
I think my favourite amber fragrance is Ciel de Gum by MFK. I don’t own a bottle and only had a sample, but each time I wore it I fell more in love with it. I’m not sure I will be able to bring myself to pay MFK retail prices, but this one is tempting me.

I have the boucheron ambre, and used it today and was sad that it changed. I don't know what happened to it, I always had it in a dark place
I'm currently wearing Calvin Klein euphoria amber gold and it's stunning in the frosty chilly weather were currently having here in England. Deep and rich I love it .

Is your Crater still smelling off? I recently spent a lot on Dua and have all the ones you mentioned except Tango. There have some rumblings on fragrances smelling off on their Facebook site. Some think it's the atomizer.
Mine is still okay for now. I will definitely keep my eye on it. 🥰❤️

Maxaroma had a decant sale and I picked up a bunch of things. I am wearing my new decant of MFK Grand Soir which I had a sample of and knew I liked but gosh, I am just in heaven. It’s sooo beautiful! I want a full bottle now 😩 lol. I also got a decant of L’Artisan L’Eau D’Ambre Extreme which I haven’t tried on skin yet, but I will try it soon after hearing how much you like it. I wasn’t blown away by it on paper, but it may really need to be worn on skin and I really like L’Artisan as a house. I love both the Tauer du Desert fragrances and am trying to decide which one I want a full bottle of. They are def some of my favorite ambers though. Van Cleef & Arpels Ambre Impérial is a lovely amber vanilla. Some other amber frags that I love: Hermès Elixir de Merveilles (I need to get a decant of the L’Ambre from this line bc it’s amazing), Kate Walsh Boyfriend (I have a decant of the OG!), Serge Lutens Chergui and Ambre Sultan, Givenchy Organza Indecence. I almost forgot a staple in my collection: Nemat Musk Amber fragrance oil. I LOVE it and it was so inexpensive. There are so many ambers I still need to try!
Oh and I have and love Rentless too! My favorite Lush scent (which is not an amber, but which you should try if you ever get a chance) is Two More Hearts. I get primarily ylang, vanilla and sandalwood and omg it is STUNNING. Now I am craving it lol.

@@SarahMayes the Nemat Musk Amber fragrance oil is soooo good. A lot of folks talk about liking the regular amber, but the Musk Amber is richer and better imho. I got my little 5ml bottle from Whole Foods for less than $10. Let me know what you think if you try it out. ☺️

Armani Si Intense 2021 îs way better than the original Si, more complex, deeper, richer, sweeter, waaay much more lasting. In my opinion Si Intense is the best of all line.

If you love Amber that much you need to try a spot on perfume of Victoria Secret Amber Romance body spray.
It's an arab perfume call Turab Al Dhahab. Very inexpensive but exactly like the body spray. Have a wonderful weekend 💐💐🥰

Hi there! I would say Olympea is a safe blind but if you enjoy a salt note. It’s a sweet very vanilla heavy fragrance with some light florals in the top. It is really gorgeous, I’m just not a fan of a strong salt note so it doesn’t work for me. The intense version is everything just amped up. The scent profile reminds me a little of JPG scents but they don’t smell alike if that makes sense? I think if salt works for you and you like addict and alien it would be a love for you. 🥰❤️

I'm that freakazoid who absolutely loves Coca-cola and Dr. Pepper (cherry) type fragrances! Got to try that Ambre Secret. Can you suggest any ones that smell a bit like Dr. Pepper? BTW I love how dark your Armani Si Le Parfum went! Crazy, eh?
Hi there! I haven't come across anything that smells like Dr. Pepper yet but I can tell you that Ambre Secret is very Coca Cola smelling. I love it!
Try Tabu! All the way cola and incense. Older formulas are better and can be found for cheap on eBay.

I'm not Spanish and I've never been to Spain but I am Hispanic and by reading the word, "Cadaqués" has an accent on the "e." So, it should have more emphasis on that part of the word lol it is sort of hard to explain it through a typed comment!
