My name is Eric and I travel with my 26lb cat, “Jax” in a 2012 Coachmen Mirada 32BH Class A Motorhome on a Ford Super Duty truck chassis. (V10 Triton) We travel about 35 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round. Here is my gear & some popular questions answered:

You are right about less moving parts to break for sure. Now when we become say 80 years old I might consider the power model! 😁

That recliner sure made a difference in the decor, that was a big improvement, and really looks comfortable, well it has to be comfy it was Jax approved.

Eric, unless you really need that storage in the dinette seating why not remove it and put some more comfortable and less intrusive chairs there instead. We did this with my friends rv and loved it. We used just lightweight folding camp chairs that could go in or outside but I think a comfortable office chair would be great for your needs when you edit. This would also make your new recliner feel less crowded.
Looks a lot better than the blue recliner filled the space better. 👍

I love that couch. Here's a note. " Here a formula for determining “optimum viewing distance”: 3 x H : Place your sofa at a distance of three times the height of the screen (which in my case is 15 inches high)." I Googled that quote. Just hoping you don't compromise your eyes since you need them for driving. enjoy!

We went to IKEA today to look at countertops to make a desk space in our RV. We walked away with a nice simple desk that will fit our space. It even has adjustable legs. When you get to the point of redo-ing the bunkbed area to a mini office I highly recommend checking out the office area in IKEA.
Impressive, what an awesome idea adding the recliner chairs. I have few of them in my living room and they are very comfortable to just sit on and just doze off like laying on a cloud.

That's the same model couch our RV came with. We had a small leak in our slide and had to pull it out, and were shocked when it came apart in three sections! They are quite comfy.

Eric, we are doing the same thing in our coach! Sold the recliner the other day and we are ordering the 67 inch powered recliners from RecPro. I was worried about the leather being too slick and asked the question on Amazon and everyone seems happy with the material. Will be installing either a 55 or 60 inch over the jack knife sofa for the time being to see if we wish to keep the sofa as well or remove and install a lift TV cabinet for TV. Looks like you are making your coach your home like us as we are full time as well. Enjoy your new space!
You bolt the hardware on between the two seats but will need to add a piece of 3/4” plywood behind to support the table load. Fred

We put the same recliner in our Lance truck camper took out the table booth we love it
I bet its also very convenient to be able to brace the loveseat to the floor when the recliner is up, easy access I would think. :)

Classy upgrade.....we’re glad Jax is on board for his own recliner. Tumwater Falls is one of our favorite wet spots in Olympia. The restaurant is a thumbs up 👍 for lunch and overlooks the river. Install looks good. We are lining up to get on the road 8n the next few months. Mike and Rosie, Shelton, WA 🐈😜
