We also live in NJ. We were tired of the the sleeper sofa and decided on the cloth as well. We opted for the lighter color, but we also went with the manual (non- electric) recliner. I found your video while looking for installation videos. My only question is fastening it down. I'll figure it out, but your video was very informative.

Costco sells a power love seat that's 6" narrower than a theater seat. It comes in real leather and easily fit in our Montana HC. Simply run some wood screws thru the steel frame into the floor. The base comes as one piece and will easily fit thru a RV door, the backrest simply slide down and "snap" into place. $900 for a quality replacement.....the matching couch was too deep to clear our slides so it just has a cover to hide the "pleather" that's coming off.

We got the similar one except we got the fake leather. Only went camping once with our new camper and knew we needed to change our couch out.

Could you connect the two chairs without the center console?
Buy a normal loveseat recliner at the furniture stores. It's cheaper and a lot nicer. Just make sure it is one with the removalable backs. It should be in 3 sections and its all held together by just 2 bars and some small bolts.
We are thinking about doing the same thing with our travel trailer. I was wondering how I would get them in the trailer. Your video shows it's doable. Thanks! How are they holding up after a year? What is your height? Wondering how my 5' 7" self will fit in one.
They are doing great so far, I am 6ft tall. No issues getting them in the narrow door of the TT either.

Did you fasten the recliners to the floor of the slide?
No they pretty much stay in place.

The recliner is poor quality. The recliner pull cable broke within a year of purchase on both sides.
The padding on the armrests will flatten to almost nothing in about a year and half. No padding on the center console sides. Wouldn't recommend it.
