Alabama is straight legit. Hit after hit after hit, and so on. Brings back a lot of memories.
You can’t go wrong with ANYTHING from Alabama! Legends!🥰🥰🥰
Right 💯‼️
FACT!!!
The greatest Country Group of all time! I saw them in concert 5 times. They are absolutely amazing! My favorite song is You’ve Got The Touch.
In 2011, the band , Alabama narrowly escaped a killer EF 5 tornado that killed 35 people in the area. Randy and the boys quickly put together many fund Raisers in Alabama and Nashville for the devastated north east Alabama.
That was the 'our song' for me and my first fiance. Still brings a smile when I hear it.
If not it is certainly in the top 2 or 3. Such beautiful vocals. Never knew country could be soooo sexy. Now try Love In the Third Degree....
You know a song is good when it has stood the test of time and the singer can make you feel the words and emotions. :) Alabama was THE country group for many years! Check out Old Flame, Why Lady Why, Lady Down on Love and Close Enough to Perfect.
Always! All of their music is incredible ❤️
I agree, the great legendary Alabama,in my opinion the greatest country band of all time.
And Love in the 1st Degree...it's a great song too.
Amen to all of the above...and keep on going! Please add in Christmas in Dixie!!
@@southnow I love this one too! Beautiful for Christmas!. Have you heard of HOME FREE? They did a Christmas Special with ALABAMA as their special guests, it is AMAZING! After all these years they still are great and HOME FREE IS PHENOMENAL! Check out the Home Free Official Music. Also on UA-cam with 150+ videos!
What woman doesn’t want to hear this being sung to her…💕
Alabama were so amazing!
21 consecutive Number 1 singles.
When We Make Love, Tennessee River and Face to Face. All such amazing songs.
Thanks for this one
These guys were huge in the '80s. "Entertainer of the Year" 3 times in a row, over 30 #1 records and 75 million in record sales. Plenty to pick from here.
They were also Entertainer of the decade
@@rhondabaker1064 I think it was Artist of The Decade for the 80’s
I’m pretty sure they had like 21 consecutive number one hits in the 80’s and over 40 number one hits altogether.
@@I_give_up_already yes, they were, and deservedly so! ❤️❤️❤️
Anything Alabama is Fire!!! Over 40 number 1 hits… react to more please!!
“There’s No Way” by Alabama was my wedding song.
“There's no way I could make it without you / There's no way that I'd even try / If I had to survive without you in my life / I know I wouldn't last a day, oh baby, there's no way”.
💜💜💜💜💜
Mine too!
Best country band of the 80s!! Worth going down this rabbit hole!
if you do much christmas music this month, alabama's 'christmas in dixie' is an absolute must (the longer one if you can find it) 🙂.
Absolutely.
Yes PLEASE!! And Hard Candy Christmas by the Smokey Mountains' precious treasure, Dolly!
Yes, this is the song for the holidays!
Love Alabama! ❤ Love in the 1st Degree, She and I ,40 Hour Week....so many songs!
I love Alabama. Their number one song was Play me some mountain music and that'll get you feeling great all day. ♥️♥️♥️♥️✌️
Alabama a great country group....The kind of song you want to pull your love in slowly and sway to the music...
This song when it came out consumed country radio. It was huge! Feels so right
Oh boy, Alabama is a deep rabbit hole to explore. Love their music and I never go camping without them.
Alabama was voted Country Artist of the Decade for the 80s. I've never heard a bad Alabama song.
Saw them live in Beaumont Texas around 1987 when I was 12. They were my grandmother's fav band. Still love to hear them!
My favorite song by them is "ANGELS AMONG US " which is a song about guarding angels in our lives. Which was cover by Tim Foust and Chris Rupp from the a cappella group `HOME FREE`.
That was my Mother Mom dance at my wedding. Love that song
They were playing in beer joints in South Carolina and then then they had a concert just north of Savannah High School. The next thing you know, they are playing 3 sold out nights in New york city! Then they hop a jet to the Fabulous Forum in Los Angeless where a full house was waiting for them and more multiple nights
They were hitting every big city in America but they also kept their word to Small towns that they would honor their contracts with them. That shows their great Character!
Love that song. Makes me cry.
Born and raised in fort payne, alabama. Grew up with these guys. Glad they left their hippie days behind them. Was a great place too grow up and was great too see them embrace their true roots !
Love Fort Payne and Look Out Mountain. 🙋♀️ from Georgia. 😊
Oh yeah!! And Sand Mtn. Also.😊
Please react to the Alabama Song called Song Of The South!
In 1983 in My hometown of Wilmington, NC I saw a concert that the headliner was Hank Williams Jr. He had this young group to be his warmup act. That group was the young up and coming group called Alabama. Hank Williams JR let the lead singer of Alabama do a song with Him. Everyone was saying that Alabama was going to be a great Group.
Alabama was inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame in 2005! Hank Williams Jr Was also inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2020. So I got to see Two future groups who would Country Music Hall Of Famers in 1983.
My favorite Alabama song! Absolutely beautiful.
One of the best slow dance songs ever, still gives me chills!!!!
Great song!!!!!! I was never a country music fan but Alabama made me one. Their music and harmonies are amazing. Thank you for taking me down memory lane with this one. Another great reaction.
I've seen Alabama in concert 3 times over the years and they were incredible every time. These guys are talented!
Cartwright? Cartwright!
@@RayfordRaySiegel yep, that's my name lol
@@tracycartwright3340,
It's a "Seinfeld" reference.
@@RayfordRaySiegel guess you can tell I never watched Seinfeld lol...
I love you two for being so welling to experience other genres of music and stretch yourselves. God bless you both.
One of my favorites when I was young til now and I’m 54. It’s the way you want someone to feel about you. ❤️
Just subscribed, I got a huge kick out of your reaction. It’s such joy to see you get
Happiness from the “oldies “ . As an older viewer (72) I think you are just starting
On an incredible journey of musical magic. You have the 1920’s to present to catch up.
Have fun as you go through this blessed experience , because “It feels so right “ .
Glad you're diving into Alabama. A great country band with many No. 1 hits. Check out "Love In The First Degree."
Saw them a couple weeks ago, (their last tour had to go). My father's favorite band.
Alabama is fabulous! Grew up in Bama and they are beloved ❤ Btw, Roll Tide!!!!
I've seen Alabama in concert many times...You can't go wrong with any of their songs, Tennessee River, Mountain Music, Dixieland Delight and so many many more.
I love how sensitive Shawn is. You're a blessed woman Mel. I'm sure Shawn is blessed as well.
Just hit after hit!! Loved them!! Couldn't wait to go two stepping!!! Alabama one of the best country bands ever!! They still are!!!
I first heard their song “Love In The First Degree” back in the day and although I listened to a lot more r&b and rock than country, I still think they are one of the greatest groups of all time. They have an incredible catalog of hits
I love y’all getting into this. Believe me, all us country boys had Alabama cds in our trucks in the 80s. Alabama is unmatched among country bands. They just cranking out great songs for years
I LOVE when people listen to a song without preconceived notions. Yalls reactions is what should be expected when hearing this for the first time. Honestly I am a new subscriber I love Yalls reactions so far
My wife and I were both fans of Alabama long before we got married. Our dance song at our wedding was Alabama’s How Do You Fall in Love. If you have a minute to listen to that song it touches you on another level as well.
I remember when this came out. I was in High School and let me tell you, dang!!! This made many couples very happy and many girls melt.....
You can never go wrong with Alabama. You know its a great song when your woman gets flushed and keeps making eyes at you throughout the song.
I have been a fan of Alabama since I was in the 8th./ 9th grade 1978/1979. They are the greatest country band ever. They have 21 no.1 songs in a row and 40 no. 1 hit songs. You just started to open up this beautiful can of worms. For me it's Elvis Presley, Alabama and Barry Manilow. That is another huge can of worms to open up. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Best song by Alabama is "She and I"... I used to listen to it over and over when I first got married.
I am very happy y'all are learning more and more about the American Song Book and I especially enjoy your discovery of great Country Music. Alabama, which I saw LIVE at the Irwin Center in Austin, Texas in 1983, had a number of great hits in the 1980s. Their songs are classic country music in that they cover topics of love, (naturally) patriotism and the beauty and dignity of the simple country life. I hope y'all will explore more of their work.
One of the best country groups of all times. Great reaction
Loved Alabama seen them live and it was one of the best concerts I have seen
Alabama is the greatest country band of all time. They had over 40 #1 hits, won Entertainer of the Year multiple times and Country Music's Entertainer of the Decade for the 1990s. They dominated country music in the 80s and 90s. The three up front are cousins from Ft. Payne, Alabama and the drummer is from South Carolina. Please react to more Alabama.
Alabama, You've got the touch, is still my husband and I song after 26 years together! Y'all gotta do that one after doing this one!! ♥️♥️ ALABAMA- YOU GOT THE TOUCH ♥️
This song is the song that made them famous, and Randy bought his house from the money he made from it, so he had the words Feel So Right put on the gate to his home. They have like 40+ number 1 huts, so you can't ever go wrong with The Boys, and you should definitely dive straight into the legend of Alabama!! I use to live not very far from them, I've been to Randy Owens(lead singer) house, seen the others house's, and even got stuck in the Walmart during a tornado warning in the women's section with Jeff Cook(the fiddle, guitar player, and singer). Please keep going with this group, you won't be disappointed.
I was just scrolling my UA-cam tonight and saw that you were reacting to this song, this was my Fathers favorite group, he passed away when I was 14, I'm now now almost 50 and hearing them still brings tears to my eyes remembering my Dad and driving with him from Indiana to Tennessee and listening to them the whole time, Thank you, I found myself once again sitting here with tears,... thank you again for being so eclectic....
Great reactions, S&M! Alabama has lots of great songs, one of my favorites is LOVE IN THE FIRST DEGREE.
I'm glad that they started singing again and is just as good at 70 years old
This was one of my favorite songs to my husband! I had him for 20 years! I miss him so much!
THIS is the exact reaction to this song, props to you
In concert, only ones watching the stage were singles. Every couple was holding hands, arms interlocked, or hugging. Singing this song along with Alabama, to each other.
My parents were huge fans of Alabama so I grew up listening to them my whole life. I recently discovered that this was the #1 song in country music 37 weeks before I was born. Then remembered that I was also born 3 weeks early… and realizing what all of this together meant! 😳🙉😭
Such a great song. The memories. My first slow dance. My first kiss. Great reaction.
One of my best friends was a HUGE Alabama fan and got me hooked on them back in HS in the 80s. I love the slow songs and the jams they put out. Can't go wrong with these guys 👍
One of my all time favorite Country groups from the 70-80s. Love love them. His vocal just wraps you like a warm blanket. They have so many hits.
I fell in love with Randy Owen the first time I saw him. My sister won a contest and got to have dinner with them. She brought me a framed photo of the band and I remember her saying "Don't try to sit on his face. You'll break the glass."
Awww Alabama - I used to see them every time they came to town. They always put on an awesome show, and in the beginning years they would stay at the coliseum and sign autographs for everyone who wanted one. They’d hug and interact with fans for several minutes a piece. Alabama was THE country group of the 80s. Try ‘Mountain Music’, or ‘If You’re Gonna Play in Texas’ for a bit more pep. Any song of theirs is great, so enjoy the walk through Alabama y’all!
When he says " oh you feel so right baby" and the end there....wooo weee.... There were a lot of babies made to this song!! Brings back some good memories!!! This song could be put out today and it would still feel like it's new!! You should do " old flame " too guys!!!
you'll never come across a bad Alabama song. Try Old Flame, Dixieland Delight, Angels Among Us, Forty Hour Week... the list goes on and on and on...
I saw them 6 times in the 80s!! Artists of that decade. Soooo good.
Our generation had the best music .. hands down . Glad to see the younger generation loving it as much as we did and still do .
Alabama has many many awesome hits I'd love to see more reactions
Love in the first Degree, She and I. This band stomped the decade! It's not hard to see why.
So beautiful smooth soothing flowing 😊great stuff keep it up good job. 😊
They are very talented. Many of their videos are live!
they had so many hits . i saw them 4 times in concert and they sounded just as great live as they did on the records
I grew up listening to Alabama! They have a whole bunch of amazing songs! Please do more!
I used to see the guys playing in a Bar in Myrtle Beach, SC before anyone ever heard of them. Those were the good ole days at The Bowery!!!
They were know as "Wild Country" back then in 1973. One hell of a House Band for 6 or 7 years if I recall correctly.
I saw these guys in concert five times during the 80-90s and they never fail to deliver. There was a guy in my hometown that was the spitting image of Randy Owen and he'd stop traffic just walking around town. Simpler, better times.
41 number 1 hits. The fact is these guys were working for over 10 years in small venues before they made it bigtime in the late 70s and 80s.
I was 16 years old when this came out in 1981. This is 9ne of those songs that taught us how to love a woman.
Loved the reaction. Liked and Subscribed!
For a breakup song by them, check out Why Lady Why or Lady Down On Love.
Another group that everything they did was great!😁
I've watched you guys react to this song a number of times and love it. The singer (Randy Owens) wrote this song for his wife. I heard him say in an interview one time that he built a new house for his wife from this song. They are so great. They were voted the group of the decade in the 90's. You also need to react to Conway Twitty and I'd Love To Lay You Down. I love to watch you two....
You can't pick a wrong song by Alabama. They are fantastic.
Amazing. You guys are amazing. I love you and love watching ur reactions.
4good old country boys turned out to be greatest country band ever they set mood with everything they sang
Alabama "feel so right" sure made couple feel closer to each other
A couple of great heartfelt songs for women who are loved...Alan Jackson's "Remember When" and Brad Paisley's "She's Everything"; both written for their wives.
I had to say again friend of mine never heard of this song before and I played it for him they fell in love with it man you two are the best better than all the rest like I said before my second comment on this song you two are terrific and show genuine emotion
Our best group from Alabama and Randy singing is just mesmerizing. Love Them saw them so many times.
Alabama is truly genuine!! Randy the lead singer wrote a song about a waitress he met in a restaurant and wrote a song about her reply to his asking How are you doing? I think you guys would really like the song Lady Down On Love.
Jeff, the lead guitar player that has the double neck guitar on, died November 7th. Would yall please do some more Alabama reaction videos in honor of him? Thank you! ♥️
I know it's months ago and I'm a day late and a dollar short however Alabama is one of the best country music bands of all time. This particular song is just so absolutely fantastically good
Alabama has a ton of great music!
My favorite of theirs- and I LOVE MANY of their songs- LOVE Alabama period! I’d like to suggest their songs “Lady down on love” and “Why Lady Why.” Fantastic!💙✌️👍
They have so many great songs. Roll On, Dixieland Delight, 40 Hour Week If Your Going to Play in Texas and so many more
Randy wrote this song and the royalties alone were more than enough to build his wife a nice, new home. These guys are legendary!
The guitar solo at about 6:17 is one of my favorites across all genres of music. After being backstage at many of their shoes and at least a dozen June Jams,I can say they are as good now as ever(while they are currently on their 50th anniversary tour).
What a song!!! Alabama really nailed love with this one.
Thanks guys.
Seen Alabama in concert 3 times (so far) Love this group!! Beautiful Love Songs .........Smooth
This band was amazing beyond description. Best country band ever.
Alabama is a great band -- one of very few country artists I can listen to and my favorite country band.
I absolutely love Alabama!!
The three guys up front are cousins. I think that's one reason they sounded so good together.
Oh dear Lord, I had forgotten about this song. This came out about a year after I started dating my now ex husband. Brings back a lot of good memories!
Alabama has over 21 number one hits in a row. They are an amazing band.
Alabama...Best Country Music Band ....Ever!!!!... Legends!!!
