If your suzuki key fob battery is weak you will need to replace the 1620 battery inside. Here is a little demonstration on how you will need to that. It's a straight forward process but it's always nice to watch someone do it before you start the task.

Thank you Rob. I tried replacing battery myself and ended up losing original one. Tried using a CR 1616 instead of your stated 1620. One bit of info stored. Secondly, placed the new battery in upside down. Thank you for setting me straight. Quick, informative video that helped me.

Thanks for the video .However I bought the CR1620 Battery and it did not work....it seems to be slightly thicker than the original battery. Put the old battery back and it works again!....not sure for how long!

How do I change the plastic shell all together. It broke and I am unable to attach a key ring.

Strangely, in mine I found a 1616 battery, but the 1620 did fit as well.

The diameter on those will be the same. The 1620 is .4mm thicker and will last a little longer. In a pinch, either will work. Take care!
