Hi, I bought a Sony cr 1616 battery and when I put the new one it does not work, my old one is a panasonic 1616, so I put back the old battery and its working again, does brand of battery matters? Need to change this as sometimes its not functioning well as its almost a 4 year old battery, please advice, thanks
Can I put a cr 1620 one instead?
Possible reason - Sony might be busted. Regardless of brand it should work as long as its 3V. If you plan to use the 1620 just make sure that its also 3-volt and that the additional thickness of the battery from 1.6 mm to 2.0mm will fit inside the casing.

I replaced it with maxell @40₹ , but not working. Will try with Panasonic.
I changed the battery, and now it is not working. Is there a way to reset or configure after the battery is replaced?
Thinking that you replace it with the correct battery CR1616 in correct polarity It should work. I don't know if there's a way to reset or configure this.

Patanong man po kung saan nakakabili ng casing lng,ty
Sa shopee at lazada po. For gen2 swak po yung front at back casing pero may revision ka gagawin dun sa mismong frame nya para mailipat yung buong chip. Dyan po sa video replacement na din na back casing gamit ko kasi nag crack na yung dati.

Try nyo sir sa mga mall. Blade store or dun sa mga gumagawa at nagpapalit ng battery ng relo. CR 1616 yung size.
