Do you like builder gel or gel x better?
Happy Sunday and happy May 💫💫 I hope you all have an amazing day and month!
How long did these last on you?
And I forgot to mention, the reason I decided to try the ASP builder gel was just because it’s cheaper than the Orly builder gel. $13 vs $20. Honestly they’re both equally as good in my opinion, just a price difference ✨
I agree! Only difference really is the Orly brush is smaller, in my opinion
Does the ASP Builder gels soak off easily?
@@tonjaruiz1672 yes. I always file the top layer and then soak
@@brendaayala4727 thank you for your response! 🙂
How long did these last?
Absolute beautiful!! Love it!
Adding the blue looks so good
Love your Hubba Bubba Nails 💅
I understand what you’re feeling, I love doing my nails it’s become a passion. I have sooo much stuff, I sure hope it doesn’t go bad on me. Love the nails!
Same 😂
I got the beetles tip kit I loveddd what you came up with
Thank you!
Thank you. Your video was awesome❤
I just bought the full ASP gel builder set and it came with nails that pop off after you cure and you have to drag the builder to the tip if you want them long. I had NO idea I could use the builder as an adhesive and just attach tips to stick then cure them. THANK YOU, lol.
Welcome!! Yes there’s a couple different ways to use the builder gel. I like to use the pop off tips when I have to fix a broken nail extension
Omg thank you thank you thank you 🙏 this made day
Very welcome! 💗
Your nails are super super cute 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you! 🤩
How long do the nails last for you doing it this way?
Hey sweetie what soft tips do you use because my nail bed are big and I can’t ever find the right size great video!!
Does this work even with a builder gel that normally requires you to wipe/cleanse it?
ASP is so nice.. I like it
How long your nails lasted using this method? Thanks for sharing
I’m hoping to get an e-file by Christmas. I know you link one in your description, but has your recommendation changed? I’m very curious to know what you suggest!
I loved the way you did this tutorial! My favorite of so many I watched. Do you have a recommendation for your nail drill? Thanks Yaliana!
Thank you!! I recommend to check a local nail supply store if you have one! I got mine from a local shop for $25 and love it. I just don’t know the brand name of it, sorry 😏
How long do these last?
I wonder if this would work for opaque light grey nails
I love this new way, How do you remove the tips without a electric file?
There are certain tips you can buy that are soak off and 100% easier to take off
What kind of nails would this work well with?
Can I use gel used for extensions to glue the nail?
I love being an entrepreneur lol I am my own boss and I wear what I want, wear my natural hair at the office and I can have my nails any length and color 😝 yours came out cute
How long do they last
What nail drill do you use, please?
How long they last your nails
Can we use ibd builder gel ?
Hey girl:) what brand is that nail drill? Im looking to buy one but im stuck
What builder gel do u use or what would you recommend using??
What’s the difference if you do this with full cover gel tips and like regular full cover tips?
The only difference is the regular tips won’t soak off as easily. You’ll probably have to file them a little more and just soak a little longer. I actually have a video doing this with regular tips btw! Check it out: ua-cam.com/video/bIA9R8y68yM/v-deo.html
How much primer do you apply? I heard if you apply too much your nail will easily pop off
Has anyone tried it? How long did it last?
What kind of lamp do you use? Im seeing a lot of amazon reviews on lamps that arent curing nail gels
how long do nail tips last
What's the name of the nail polish u used after the base??
I tried it with press on nails and didn't last long
how do you take this off?
Great video! Thanks a bunch!
I have been wondering about using a clear builder gel instead of nail glue for my clear press ons. ❤️
Did you experience any nail damage or weakness using this builder gel?
I would like to know too.
How long do they last on without popping off
Okay y'all I e the same builder gel, same tips, and I'm going to use the ASP bonder (it's 9 yrs old from their gel polish starter kit from Sally's) and I'm going to apply these the same way she did,I'll keep you posted.
How did it work?
It totally works! They're still solid and I have hit my nails over last week or so at work ( I do heavy lifting and detailed projects)
Fun new hobby? Damn those nails had me thinking u been doing this for years. Beautiful!
What drill is that please
Okay I have a question I'm not understanding so you put the gel from another bottle and then you put the gel from that bottle they're the same thing or I'm not understanding and it bonds it like what is the stuff you put on before that they're both orally gel
Hey! For how long do you cure the gel when you glue the tip on the natural nail? 30 or 60 seconds?
I think it depends on your personal lamp voltage. Just follow whatever the curing time is for whatever gel you use in accordance to your lamp. Cause there’s LED & UV lamps and each cure differently time wise. But also based on the brand. Hope that makes sense.
how do you remove them, with efile or?
How long do these nails last you
Buff ur nail and the inside of the fake nail f ok r better adhesion
😍
💖💖💖
Please tell me what kind of nail tips did you use??
Does this work with builder gel in a pot as well?? I have ibd builder gel in a pot and I am NOT doing good at the gel overlay. This set is adorable!
Same thing. Her builder gel just comes in a bottle for easier application.
And I use IBD so yes..
@@sinverrette9803sorry this is like 6m late buti just tried the ibd gel with my gel tips and they popped off almost instantly. i feel like its too thick but maybe im using too much of it? any advice
So use the builder gel as a base instead of like the gel nail glue? I love the colors of builder gel and want to use it but every time I look up videos I just find people using the tips and forming the builder gel to it but I just wanna use the soft pink color? Is that possible
What tips are you using? Where should I order them? And Gel?
Do you need to put down base coat before the builder gel??
saw in another comment you can use base coat instead of a primer.
Is the builder gel the same as a gel base coat?
No, it's different
What's the difference in using builder gel versus the base gel? Is there a benefit to one or the other
Much stronger hold! Builder gel is a hard gel vs a base gel Polish
Thanks. I wasted a lot of my base gel 🥲😭
@@welcometotheteam9405 SAME!!! I did it for the second time today using my base gel by Canni & it was so trash! Some of my tips kept popping off. 😭 I’m debating on getting a gel nail glue, like the Beetles brand. It seems good.
@@YalianaEnid I purchased a kit from beetles that came with gel glue for the tips and I also purchased builder gel. Which would be better?
I use both. I put a layer of gel base coat first on my natural nail then cure it. Then I use the the builder gel to apply the tip.
How do you remove it ?
How long do u cure the tips that u apply with builder gel?
it depends on the brand but 60seconds is always the safest bet, some even require only 30seconds
does the builder gel really help, how long did your nails last afterwards
Yes the builder gel is pretty strong. I took these off after two weeks so I could do another set but I’m confident they would have lasted at least 4!
At what point was the nail cured
As a primer for the builder gel can you use a base coat as well??
Yes you can 😁
Hi how do you take them off?
Soak off with acetone
so, you substituted the nail glue with the builder gel?
Yup! It’s a much stronger hold
Did you prime them before the builder gel? I think you did not say.
Hi ,can I use builder gel instead of nail glue??
That's what she's using.. builder gel it's just in a bottle...
How do you take these off? I'm having trouble finding a video for that
For these I did a combination of filing and soaking. I file off as much as I can with my e file and then soak in pure acetone
You file the full cover nail off?
Are you really able to soak them off? The builder gel I have is file off only. And I effed up my nails filing them all the way down. I've never done full cover tips.
It will take some time but yes you can soak them. You will have to file them to kinda of break the barrier a bit or at least make it a shorter soaking process but here’s a video on how I removed this set ua-cam.com/video/1MJl4xyXy7E/v-deo.html
How long does it last on you? I have the same products here at home and want to try it tomorrow.
hi how long do they last for you?
How long did it end up lasting??
What's the difference between builder gel in a bottle and one in a cup?
Nothing. Bottle is just an easier application for those who don't like applying from the cup/pot.
@@sinverrette9803 can I take a polis brush and use it the same way from the jar
Hello, I'm having issues where the nail itself pops off the builder gel which is left on my nails. So the gel itself doesn't pop off but the nail? Why could this be? Can anyone help please, thank you
I had the same issue. Literally did my nails today. I etched the inside or my tip. But idk if it fully helped bc some of my tips still popped off 😅😭. I read another comment that said it may depend on the type of tips you have, some tips will take well to the gel adhesive you choose to use but some won’t. So try etching, & also maybe have a prepped base as well?
Just make sure that your nails aren’t too small they should fit from sidewall to sidewall without much or any pressing down at all and maybe start buffibg your tips as well as your natural nail to make it a bit rougher bc it sounds like it’s not sticking to the builder gel properly
so do you use base coat /
primer and then nail glue or?
Mine always breaks off after 2 days
What is the brand of nail tips you used 🤔
Late response but at minute 1:05, she shows the box she uses n says she got the tips on Amazon.
Can you please link the soak off nails?
Here they are! ☺️ www.amazon.com/dp/B08JJ9V5H1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ZHJ1Q03PYJ99PWBB504M?psc=1
@@YalianaEnid thank you :)
I always go ham in my cuticles too, I feel your pain 😭
Yes, the struggle! It just takes some practice 🙌🏽
When I used my builder gel, the nail popped off afterwards almost like a dual form. What do you think I did wrong?
did u rough up the inside of the tip? also, I have several types of builder gels and some just dont work with certain tips. I have no idea why. for example, I have the Kiara Sky kit and the builder for it works great with the tips from their kit. However, I've tried using the same KS builder on my enailcouture tips and they just pop right off.
Omg I have the same problem!!! I did everything fine and they pop off every time! And I use the same brand for the nail tips and builder gel too... 🥲
This happens to me too I cannot get it for the life of me. And I'm a nail tech!! I do acrylic and biogel extensions and wanted to try this on myself
@@angelfrankenfine thank you so much!!
@@angelfrankenfine do you have the Beetles gel nail glue? If so do you like it compared to using builder gel as the adhesive?
As far as the cuticle getting torn up I think you might be using a too rough arbor band. Its supposed to be medium grit
where do u get builder in a bottle?
Sallys beauty
Omg girl I finally got my hands on the gelly tips and they didn’t last me. I have to keep trying it.
Nooo 😩 that sucks. Keep trying it though. I’ve never used kiarasky but I watched your video and it looks like you did all the basic steps right. Hopefully next time is lady longer!
Yaliana Enid I think it’s cause I didn’t buff the nail tip to get the shine out. I don’t have a efile yet. This time I buffed it with a buffing block. Let’s see how it stays. Lol.
@@DeliaRoseBeauty did it stay ?
@@borderlinebarbi the first time I did them no. After I got the hang of it it lasted longer.
@@DeliaRoseBeauty how long
What nail tips are you using you didnt include it in the product section
Wat if the tips are too curvy
I would say try to add a bit more builder gel on your natural nail to "bulk it up" just a bit more, cure, then go in with the jelly tip and the builder gel in the nail bed area as normal.
I don't know how she puts gel on the fake nail pushed it onto her natural nail and got it to stay mine keeps popping off
What tips are those
Found them on
Amazon - www.amazon.com/dp/B08JJ9V5H1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_HBZP3DFFY3KAE4W67HH5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I wanted to see you cure it
Mine didn't stay on at all
Maybe for 40 minutes. Then the nail came off. Left the gel on my nails.
What can I do to stop that?
I have this issue as well
Did u solve the problem? If yes ,how ?
Same maybe the half tip nails will work better? They only go on half your nail and have gel on both sides?
I’m the same way when it comes to switching homies and I can’t stand it 🤦🏼♀️
The best thing that you can do is try next time when you put fake nails on the tips, file the tip inside a little bit and then put the gel on. Maybe you'll last longer
why don’t you just use glue?
This may be a stupid question. But the nails have to be clear for this to work correct?
Yes because you need to cure it with a uv light and it might not cure if the tip is opaque
Yes!
Does top coat work?
You could use top coat to apply the tips but they wouldn’t last long at all
@@YalianaEnid dam it lol ...thank you
Love what you do but I’d love to know how on earth do you hold the tip on and try and get under the us lamp?
good question haha its almost impossible because you use both hands with applying the tip bc you have to hold it till it cures, I reccomned getting a led/uv mini flash light on amazon and (I know this sounds weird) hold it in your mouth for a few seconds onto the nail and allow it to cure for a few seconds so it doesn't move and you can then cure fully in the lamp !
@@whysozebra Thank you so much. I have one of those torches for UV glue on Jewellry. I also bought myself a UV lamp with no bottom in it so I can sit that on a stack of books. Thank you so much for replying.
@@TeaWithKarin that would be great for it !! No problem ;) good luck !!
Lol seriously 🤔
I put books under the edge of my lamp so it lifts it higher, that way i can fit both hands under my lamp to hold my nail
I thought builder gel was just for the top of the nail
You applied the base, and cured it first. Only after that you did the builder gel business . You didn’t say anything about that in the video.
I didn’t see that. I see her apply dehydrator and primer and then add a layer of builder gel and immediately a tip then cure
You didn’t file the inside of the tip?? You don’t have to??
I didn’t know back then, but now I do file the inside or use an etching solution!
@@YalianaEnid ahhh! Ok I thought I had just learned something 😭🤪 I was excited about skipping that step 😖
These never last for me. I take really hot showers and they always fall off.
Why are these called "nail tips" when they're the entire nail..
Nail bed? No huni, its "nail plate"
Did you really need to use the “F” word in a nice nail video that young women are viewing?
I was hoping it was actual nail tips. These are full cover. 😔
