You communicate complex ideas with maxiumum efficiency. Thank you for taking the effort to educate us.
VERY VERY HELPFUL!!! Thank you so much Beeblebum. I can't help but think that a simple 45 degree snap point wouldn't be too hard, it's common in other building games... but it could just be debt incurred from the 10+ year code base.
15 degree would be better but i agree although this is an excellent tutorial I get tired at the effort to do it
I see you've simplified the foundation wires off the garage doors. Really nice Beebs!
Gold as usual Beebs, thank you
Cheers Gecko! 😊
Man, all this big brain stuff....🤯
August 2022. When I attempt to move the powered door the wire disappears. I'm not sure if I'm missing something or not.
Yeah Hello Games added that "helpful" feature since this video. I don't know how to get around it though...
I'm having the same issue
Excellent tutorial Beebs! This will help many builders achieve those crazy angles 👍
It is rather simple and I showed it many times in my streams, a dedicated guide about it is always nice. 😊
@@Beeblebum for sure!!
I am sensing angled walls in my future!
Thanks beebs .
Any time! 😊
This is SO helpful Beeblebum! Thanks again for a great tutorial!
Thanks, glad to share and help 😊
Another great, simple to follow tutorial.
Thanks bud! 😊
Cool explanation. Thanks beeble :)
Happy to help! 😊
I just discovered this excellent tutorial, thank you!
Is there any way to apply this to the underwater glass tunnels to make them angle downwards?
I have a base with glass tunnels that follows an underwater cave system and am hoping for a more elegant way to follow the contour and directional changes than a series of many 90° turns.
Thank you!
Awesome 👍 thanks so much.
My pleasure! 😊
This is gonna take a bit of practise for me but thanks for the great content.
MMS just needs to add this in as basic functionality now
Ok question i made a hexagon shaped building i want to add tilted walls to the top or second floor im having a hell of a time doing this is it because of the shape i started with
im trying to buld an opening roof for my hanger with XL garage doors will this work for that
I know this is old but how would you have a teleporter with the light from it going upwards, star trek etc style?
Ok man please I need help I'm following step by step what your doing my problem is everytime I use the first garage door and add a floor piece do the wire glitch than you say move the garage door again to do the glitch again when I move the door the first wire go away arrgghh frustrating what am I doing wrong
Reverse glitch a normal door inside the garage door, after doing the first reverse wire glitch. Worked for me
I don’t understand why they can’t just allow you to rotate things like this normaly. It’s super frustrating.
You can rotate in the game... just not when it is snapped.
@@Beeblebum really? I’ve had trouble with certain objects so I wasn’t sure. They absolutely weren’t snapped to anything either, so maybe it’s only certain things. Oh well.
@@ieajackson5518 If you have some issues with rotation, sometime enabling free placement does help... (Still - Some Decoration parts do not have free rotation).
Hey Beeblebum, great tutorial. Before Endurance I used this to make a tower. Unfortunately after the update, moving the powered door removes the wire. Any workarounds we can use?
Same issue with me. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a fix for it.
@@Xakaion Darn it :( I was hoping we could use maybe an alternate glitch build technique to compensate for it. I just end up eyeballing that part, if that helps you too
@@smf4297 I'm just really trying to figure out how to make builds even
@@Xakaion Same! Right now I'm only building and living in boxes and circles
Connect another wire to the centered wire so when you pick the power door the other wire still has a snap point where the center wire was
@beeblebum this morning i am getting a "cannot build, base out of range message. i have built all over this area already, but today it wont let me. i used the base extending method to previously build on this spot. wondered if you are seeing this or not
This happens regularly... Jump in and out your ship to save and reload the game... This always fixes my extension.
Reloading alone will not work, you need to save and reload.
@@Beeblebum thanks
PC light cube not working T_T
Hi beebs, after the update 3.096.000 on ps. I’m not able to do the autodoor-reverse-wire glitch anymore. Because when i remove just 1 single wire afterwards… ALL wires will be removed automatically! Please help :-0
What about reverting the version and THEN building?
@@Xakaion it was a bug, all is fixed now tx
@@joker3281 Now I'm trying to figure out how to make builds even and I'm dyin over here
@@Xakaion trying to make builds even.. what? Harder? Better? And you can easily prevent the dying part by starting the game in creative mode :-)
@@joker3281 I mean like mirrored, like I need to mirror half the build to look even.
i dont see why this click bait is even a thing.... just use the normal features built into the game its alot less effort and time wasted then doing this stupid waste of time method....
down on the d-pad people free placment > then r3 (adjust angle of placment) > bam! angled walls/objects/floors
SIMPLE! otherwise waste time watching click bait.....
