I own the three in one system I used it for the first time (single blind configuration) this past weekend. In the mid 80's it was getting fairly warm in the blind with myself and my son. I opened a slide window just a crack and was surprised by a nice breeze. I got curious and used a bic lighter to do a similar test. Lighter next to the wall no flame movement while feeling the breeze through the open window. Move it infront of the window it blows down almost burning me. Back to the wall no movement while still feeling breeze from the window. Needless to say I was really impressed. On a related note the see through is great in full light and in full shade, but in dappled light it can be a little tough. We found however, if you move your head around a bit it makes it much easier to see. As for scent I had two squirrels, on over hunted public land, come right up to the blind to investigate. (No kidding I could have reach under the skirt and grabbed it bare handed) They showed up about 20 minutes apart and came up looked around stared for a few seconds and just walked away. I also find that a cheap $5.00 harbour freight moving pad fits damn near perfectly under the blind to help reduce ground noise. Happy hunting.
I noticed when you had the fan on low it was going through the mesh because I saw the white screen tag moving which shows there was air coming through and of course the tag was really moving when you put the fan on high either way the TideWe is a great item I love it.
I have their 270 blind. Wish they made the same blind without the 'Cant actually see anything through it" material. In the woods you cannot see any detail 50 yards away from the blind, only place the fabric would work is out in a field. I like the slide windows and the size is perfect for hiding, stretch latches on the door are awesome, there should never be a zipper on a blind, one freezing rain storm and your climbing under your blind to get in. Turn a heater on and the heat just goes right out the walls. I could feel cold breezes coming right through the walls. I need to get a blind that has silent slide on all the windows but not the see through gimick.
I don’t mean to play Monday morning quarterback…but wouldn’t a puff wind checker have given a visual as to how much wind was flowing through if you did it in front of and within the blind? Just food for thought for conveying its effectiveness.
I bought 2 for an elk hunt to cover wallows, the elk never noticed or were ever bothered by them. We had cell cams set up in both locations elk came in the first week. I had 2 bulls fights 20 yards from one of the blinds.
We bought the 270 degree see through blind (3 walls see through) and it rained pretty good for 2 days. When we went back out to blind, the ground was dry inside! It was wet on the walls and some dripping but we were highly impressed!
I have 2 of these. I don't care for how I have to use binocular etc to see completely through. Very distorted with naked eye and I have noticed I have to look at an angle to see anything. Early morning day break or evening just before dusk, you aren't gonna see anything. Very cloudy and or distorted view.
I can relate. I had mine set up on a field edge for my daughter and 2 of the ground stake loops were ripped from the blind while the stakes were still in place. I had used the guy lines on all 4 sides as well. This year I need to figure out how to reattach something to put stakes through. I can agree very little wind gets through the blind and with a heater it can get toasty......but if you have an animal down wind they WILL be able to catch your scent. It is not like an enclosed box blind.
If you dont mind me asking what is the make and model of your wireless mic you were using, sounded really good. Great video also! Might to time to switch from my muddy blind to a TideWe
LOL that white tag over on the left of you was pinned back from the wind when you said you couldn't feel the wind. Either that tag was lying or ....well somebody was.
Hello, Good test, but what about Air from the inside making it's way out ? The idea is to keep Human scent contained as much as possible. Follow-up test would be a fan (Can be smaller, Box fan, etc) on the inside blowing at a wall. If it can't cut back on air flowing out, then normal human scent will also not be contained. Run through this test and if good, then I will get a couple of these blinds for sure !!
The wind isn’t bad at all going inside or coming out. We also spray scent blocker on us and stuff we brought in and had no problems. Literally had a small buck walk right past us and never looked our way! Also when sunrise hit, we turned on our Buddy Heater and still had no issues
I'm sorry, man, but this is a bunch of b s I really like your clothing. But when you set in a blind like that? I had 2 years ago in Michigan it was 29°. It's like setting in front of my screen door and I froze to death in it. You have to have a blind with insulation. In order for you not to get cold It would work great in Texas or early season. Possibly turkey but in cold weather you will freeze the death in it
Total Bull Crap. I bought one and to be honest, I regret spending money on it. 1. Wind passes right through it, no problem. 2. If you have a side window open, a deer can absolutely see you move because you're silhouetted against what light does come through it. The front open is about your only option so that you have the back wall as a backdrop. 3. Unless you're in the shadows looking out toward a brightly lit field, the whole see through thing is completely trash. It's like trying to look at your food through the door of your microwave. You have to move around to see anything. Trust me, it looks way different in person than what you see on videos. I'll be selling this thing really cheap at the end of the season. It's a novelty item at best. In fact, I just ordered black fabric to line all of the see through crap to hold heat and black it out.

You nailed it. The "see through" gimmick got me too. Never again.

That’s sick!! Did you get any video of that!?! I’d love to see it!!
@@TideWe I have a bull walking by the blind but not the 2 fighting might have a spike at the same location.
What about rain intrusion? I’d love to get one, but I’d be worried about staying dry
It doesn’t leak at all
No problem, none comes through
You'd stay dry. Great material

I usually spray a scotch guard on the roof of mine each season to help with that, but either way I have never had much water, if any in these.

The blind was awesome besides mine turned orange after one turkey season and tidewe wouldn't back it was nice for my 5 year old to see the birds

Don't leave it in the sun. Blinds tend to turn colors when exposed to sunlight.
If you dont mind me asking what is the make and model of your wireless mic you were using, sounded really good. Great video also! Might to time to switch from my muddy blind to a TideWe
I don't understand if no wind is coming in why is the white tag constantly moving with the fan even on low?
did you watch the video?
the door is open and the camera is probably on a tripod.
5:28
Wind come through. I have one and it's trash.
LOL that white tag over on the left of you was pinned back from the wind when you said you couldn't feel the wind. Either that tag was lying or ....well somebody was.
He plainly said he could feel the wind at the window seems on the side but not the mesh in the front. Good grief did you just watch and not listen?
Love mine! Great products!
Sure can see that tag moving!😂
Just ordered ours from Texas!
100% air passes through. It literally has micro holes all over. It will definitely let more scent out but you should be hunting down wind any ways.
Better tie it down with different stakes it comes with, mine ended up 40 ft out in the field
😂😂
Why was the white tag flapping around ?
When the windows are open wind will pass through

duly noted. I had deer blowing behind me in my TideWe blind tonight and the wind was blowing in their direction. Scent is escaping the blind.

can you get the orange safety cap for the original 270 degree see through blind
We do not offer one currently.
Why would anyone would pace a Blind/Hideout Up wind of the trail you expect game to aproach/cross? Neither You or Blind is Scent proof.
Short answer is yes but not so much. There, saved you x minutes.
so what im hearing is no farting in the blind?
Does it hold heat inside, with a Mister heater going?
Not at all.
@DBWeathers1
Thanks you 👍🏻
What about rain?
How rain proof is it?
NO. Te wind will blow it away if it's not anchored down. Mine got blown into the treeline.😂😂 10yards away 😢😢
Leaves rain in and air
You didn’t even try experimenting if air goes in or not.
Should’ve lit a candle
i call B S you can see the wind effect and hear through mic put a smoke bomb in it and try again
I'm sorry, man, but this is a bunch of b s I really like your clothing. But when you set in a blind like that? I had 2 years ago in Michigan it was 29°. this left channel only Audio is fucking infuriating. Cool blind though
Should have used smoke??
