I got one of these for turkey hunting. Last time I went I had to use some camo netting, it worked great but I would have preferred an actual blind compared to the netting.
If, like me, your choosing a ground blind for mountain hunting, weather proofing material is an important consideration. Mountain weather is unpredictable and changes quickly.
@@dsoutdoorsI’m also in Wisconsin. How well does this material do to keep you dry while it’s raining? And is a buddy heater enough to warm it up when the weather cools off?
@@ToasterBath247 does a great job keeping you dry. I've used it in some nasty weather; including sleet and rain. Holds up nicely besides a couple tiny drops getting through through some small seams. It does a good job of trapping your body heat as well and really knocks down the wind. I've never personally used a heater in one but I imagine it could get real warm with a little buddy heater.
The background music is to loud and is taking away from the content. If you think the wind is to distracting do a voice over. Dumping a guitar solo on top of the wind makes things worse.
Thanks for the excellent review! I used TBS18 just now (from The Budget Sportsmans Channel) and it still works May 2024

How'd it work out for you?
Hey what a great video thanks for showing all the different blinds with the pro's & con's of each.

Sadly no mountains in Wisconsin. Have used these in the bluffs of the Driftless area and had success!
Any recommendations?

Is rifle hunting allowed from a ground blind? Or do you need to be 10 feet high off the ground ?
Depends on where you’re hunting!
Don’t even say which model each one is. So still left in the dark the one to choose.
Apologies Allen! Let me know which blind caught your eye and I’ll happily point you in the right direction!
Anybody know anything about the difference between the 150D versus the 300D fabric options?
IE does anybody actually have them?
Excellent information. Appreciate the info!
Glad I could help!
Amazing review.
